Major issue with Contact Form 7 noticed in the latest version of the theme update.

All “Contact Form 7” (CF7) forms no longer submit if the form values are not all correct, i.e. if any one field is *required and the user does not supply this on the initial form filling process and clicks submit, the validation warning shows and flags the field as a required field correctly but the form can no longer be submitted again after the validation issue has been resolved????

The same applies to all of the CF7 form events.

This is a high priority issue as you will understand CF7 is heavily used by the industry.

This is a fundamental flaw in the Porto theme (the product) latest releases and not a support request and needs rectifying swiftly.

Hi Guys, How do i remove the side navigation on the projects page – i just want 2 columns – main project text and the project details sidebar.

I currently have a 3 column page

[LEFT] Navigation sidebar [MIDDLE] Main content [RIGHT] Project Details

Note – i can see layout and sidebar options but switching this off leaves a massive blank space instead of adjusting the content to fit

I had a subscription on your support site It’s canceled too! I can’t login to your support area even with my license code. It won’t accept my license code. Why would I buy a license again when I have a license code? The same problem persists… It neither accepts my license code in the theme nor does it accept it on your support site…

Hello, how is everything? I would like the blog page (post page) to display posts from specific categories. how do I do?

I’m not using the WPbakery page builder. I use the element. I can create a page and select it as categories with the element, but when it goes into appearance, configure and define a page as a posts page, it goes back to pulling all the categories. So I would like to know how to set a page as the post page but displaying only as categories I select.

And after I also set it as a posts page, and try to configure it with the element, I get the error: “preview cannot be loaded, sorry, something went wrong, Click learn more and follow each step to solve the problem quickly. If you select any of your site pages as a Blog page then it will show all the categories of the posts and that is the default functionality of WordPress.

Our theme provides the functionality to show the specific category of the Blog on any of your pages with Porto Blog element and you can use the same element with Elementor page builder as well but as soon as you will set that page as a Blog page it will again automatically pick all the categories and as I told above this is the default functionality of the WordPress and our Theme does not have any influence on it.

And Regarding your error: That is the Elementor page builder known issue, please read and follow the instructions written in the below-given articles:

Shop by Category don’t show Sub-category in demo 22. When cursor on the “Fashion & Lifestyle” it does not show sub category under it. I want to show it sub category like demo 36, in demo 36 when cursor on the “Fashion” then show its sub category. how to do it. Please help

In shop demo 22 we have set the Menu as a single item menu, that is the reason it is not showing like the shop demo 36 and in-shop demo 36 we have set the menu as mega menu and that is the reason it is showing as sub-menu items when hovering over the parent menu items, so you have to set your Menu as Mega Menu and set it as per your requirements.

I would just like to let you know there is a problem in shop demo 36 and probably in other demos as well. Product with 2 or more attribute variations have a problem on iPhone devices (5,6,7,8,X) When you select the first attribute and then the second one the first is not selected and because of that the user can’t order product. Can you please check and update this?

I have tested it on our demo shop 36 as you mentioned, and I do not find any of the product on our demo which has multiple attributes, so that issue is not on our Demo and also I have tested it on my test site as well and do not finds the issue. So it means the issue is only on your site, please follow the below listed debugging processes one by one, I am sure it will help you in finding the cause of the issue, otherwise, please take the complete backup of your site and remain all the third-party plugins deactivated on your site and share your site WP-Admin Login details with us via our support system so that we will further debug it for you on your site and help you out.

I.   Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
II.  Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
III. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
IV.  Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V.   Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it
VI.  If you have setup the Porto Speed Optimization Wizard, then please reset it and set all the options to default, uncheck all the options and save changes/compile and check back your site after removing the cache of the browser.
VII. Can you please check once by activating the WP default Theme Twenty Twenty, If the issue will still persist with the default WP Theme then it will make clear that the issue is not from Porto WordPress Theme and then you have to contact the WP and WooCommerce support for fixing it with the default WP Theme and once it will fix with the default WP Theme, It will automatically work with Porto WordPress Theme as well.
