Hello, I have acquired the theme a long time ago because I could edit the content with WP-Bakery. It turns out that I want to use it right now after a while without using it and the content does not work with WP-Bakery. I explain; I have transferred the template to my domain, but the template comes as a text block in the WP-Bakery editor. How can i fix this?
Hi, please contact our support team support@getbowtied.com. We’ll be happy to help you there. Cheers! Romi.
Hi. Which are the latest versions of woocommerce and wordpress compatbile with merchandiser theme?
In sidebar displays it is compatible with woocommerce 5.1.x and wordpress 5.7.x
I am using woocommerce 5.7.2 and wordpress 5.8.2 and receiving errors in my server logs as this:

Thx
Hi @ahumadomayte,
The theme is compatible with the latest versions of WordPress (5.8.2) and WooCommerce (5.9.0). We recommend you to update the plugin to its latest version and check if the issue persists. If it does, please reach our to our support team using the Support tab above and we’ll do our best to help you figure that out: https://themeforest.net/item/merchandiser-ecommerce-wordpress-theme-for-woocommerce/15791151/support

Hi. I am using Shop with sidebar in the web. But i have noted, when someone searchs something and click enter, the “search results page” is not showing the content of sidebar, just an empty white column, with search results at the right. How can i show the content of sidebar also in search results?
In ur demo, ur search results page seems to be set “with no sidebar”, i think that inheriting the option for “shop with no sidebar” for the whole shop. But we need to use the sidebar in every shop page, also in search results.
Thx.
Forgot to mention that we are using this plugin in sidebar: Product filter by xforwoocommerce (https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-product-filter/8514038), as is the only one we have been able to find that filters with ajax out of the box and works with this theme.
If i use regular widgets, they are shown, but not the widget with filters of that plugin.
So dont know if this bug is plugin related or theme related
Hello @ahumadomayte,
We’re not familiar with this particular plugin so it would be best to reach out to them and ask about the behaviour as well as how to integrate this best with an existing theme.
Cheers, Vanesa
Hi Guys,
Is there an option to change the layout of the single product page, or it is the only one shown in demo?
Hi RojerWater,
That is the only option available with this theme. Our theme Shopkeeper has more options. Maybe you can find something suitable in that one.
Are you looking for something in particular?
Cheers,
Adrian.
Hi Adrian,
Thank you for your reply.
The reason i like this theme is that it does not use any page builders and relies only on Gutenberg. How much Shopkeeper have the WP Bakery dependency?
The demo pages of Shopkeeper are built using WPBakery, so it is still defendant on it, but we’re currently working on releasing a new update that will turn it into a block-based theme. So it will move away from the WPBakery page builder as well.
Cheers, Adrian.
Hi. I have been with this theme for 5 years in my store, and one of the only things I have always missed is that on the product page you could make sticky the product image and the gallery, until they reach the end of their container, or tabs. Because if you have a very long short description, or you start adding information through hooks or plugins, the image stays on top and you see half of the screen blank while you scroll (half page design in single product).
I have tried many ways: with javascript, plugins, css and I have not succeeded. I’ve been close, but I haven’t got it.
Is there any possibility that you can add this feature?
Thanks
Hello there,
Happy to hear you’ve been sticking to this theme for so long. I am forwarding your note to our developers, maybe they can implement such functionality in a future update. It makes sense, I know what you mean, we’re having a similar approach on Shopkeeper: https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.design/shop/categories-grid/the-barbershop/button-embellished-printed-cotton-jersey-top/
Cheers, Adrian.
Hi. Yes, 5 years now…. and hope to be 5 years more at least…. Great theme, and great update (we are still recoding all, as our web with merchandiser v1 was very customized, and lot of changes were made in v2.).
Im also using shopkeeper for other web
. But what i want in merchandiser is exactly the opposite: to stick product image and gallery, while short description scroll.
I have come with a very simple css solution to this.
@media only screen and (min-width:64em) {
.woocommerce.single-product .page-wrapper {
overflow: unset;
}
.woocommerce .product_content_wrapper .product_wrapper {
display: flex;
}
.woocommerce.single-product .product_content_wrapper .woocommerce-product-gallery {
position: -webkit-sticky;
position: -moz-sticky;
position: -ms-sticky;
position: -o-sticky;
position: sticky;
top: 65px;
}
.woocommerce.single-product .product_content_wrapper .product_wrapper {
width: 100%;
}
.woocommerce.single-product .product_content_wrapper.layout_half .product_wrapper .product-gallery-wrapper,
.woocommerce.single-product .product_content_wrapper.layout_half .product_wrapper .product_infos {
width: 50%;
}
}
The last two rules, where i modify the width from 200% to 100%, and from 25% to 50%, is because if not, when resazing with chrome inspector, it breaks things.
Also, as this is using position:sticky, maybe in some browsers it wont work. This is all that my knowledge can do, as i am not professional programmer.
Thnx.
Merchandiser One is way more beautiful. I regret updating to M2 and then restored previous version. and i will never update to M2 again. total b..llshit compared to m1
How can i hide the category name and the “read more” button from blog masonry ? I want to display only post title and date like in the demo.
1. Have you built in support for Brands with WooCommerce (either via Attributes or alternative field or plugin?)
2. Is it possible to have a page with only Sale products on them with the default blocks? (eg in Elementor you can set the query to display only sale products. ) If yes, do your filters work the same as the normal shop page? Im looking to create a page where a user can use the category filters / brand filters that are only applicable to the items that are on the sale page and not display all categories / all items form a category. eg The User can only see X brand or X Category on the sale page if they choose
https://merchandiser.wp-theme.design/
It’s building on WPBakery Page Builder?
Any way to get the new demo on Elementor or WPBakery?
Looks like is building on Gutenberg, it’s correct?
Thank you.-
Hi @scesini,
You’re right, it is using the block editor (Gutenberg). There’ no option to have the same content on Elementor or WPBakery but both plugins should allow you to make use of blocks as well, so you shouldn’t be limited in that way.
Cheers, Adrian.
Hello,
why am i getting these two errors in the console?
DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for https://www.domain.it/wp-content/cache/minify/style.min.css.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE
DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for https://www.domain.it/wp-content/plugins/merchandiser-extender/includes/vendor/swiper/js/swiper.min.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE
Hi @albertopiazza,
This could be caused by the minifying option in the caching plugin. Feel free to contact us if you need further assistance: https://themeforest.net/item/merchandiser-ecommerce-wordpress-theme-for-woocommerce/15791151/support
Cheers, Adrian B
Hi guys,
How long does it take to get assisted? I summited a support request on Wednesday and I get responses after 24 hours or so but my issue is still not yet resolved
This is affecting my business and reputation. Please assist
Hi @Yolisa,
My colleague Hina will get back to you as fast as possible.

Hi! I am a long time user of Merchandiser. I am on the latest version but have bought my own license of WPBakery as my site was built with that when Merchandiser supported that plugin instead of Gutenberg.
I have noticed that margins do no longer work as expected when specified in the page builder, and found the culprit to be in Merchandiser’s styles.css file:
.entry-content :first-child { margin-top: 0!important;
Is there a reason you have classified these rules as important? It breaks most functionality of WPBakery, or custom edits for that matter. Instead of changing the file myself, I wanted to check if you could consider updating this on your end in future updates?
Hi @whereskarlo,
I just sent your note to our developers to check this and hopefully it can be fixed in the next theme update.
Cheers, Adrian B
Hi Adrian, I think I have discovered a bug.
On the Blog Layout in the customizer, there are 3 layouts available. Layout 2 and Layout 3 both show a snippet with “read more” below.
Layout 1 however shows the entire posts, which breaks the flow.
Layout 1 used to also show snippets with “read more”.
Is this change to Layout 1 intentional? If not I’d like to report it so the developers can look into it.
Cheers!
Hi again,
Indeed there’s an issue on the first layout. Our developers are investigating this and the following theme update will include a fix for this.
Cheers, Adrian B
Hi, There is a problem with infinite scroll. It works properly on the main page, however, in sub-pages it does not. I see that it was reported earlier here in comments. What’s the solution?
Hi @ponowemu,
This could be caused by different things, can’t say for sure what could be the cause on your end. I would start by checking the Chrome console to see if there’s any JavaScript issue there. Also you can temporary deactivate any caching plugin you may have and check how it’s working after that.
Feel free to contact our support team by filling this form so we can check the setup: https://themeforest.net/item/merchandiser-ecommerce-wordpress-theme-for-woocommerce/15791151/support

Hi, yes I did it already. There is an issue with salvattore js plugin. In line 494 there is a problem with getting the child element grid. However, when it comes to the ajax request which provides new pages each time, everything is ok. Request looks good, and response as well.
how can i get the new update of the theme? thnx

Hello! I have some serious issues with styling the child theme. Mostly all styles in the child theme css get overwritten by the—global css again, even though it’s implemented correctly and at last. I have no idea what else to try. I need to get this working somehow… Thank you
Hi @JungvonMattanderDonau,
My colleague David got back to you on the support ticket asking you for more info about the issue. Please continue the conversation there.

Hello there, fellow theme author!
This is a fantastic theme and I’m looking to purchase it for one of my projects!
A few questions for you:
- I see the support for WPML is listed in the theme’s features, but I would like you confirm that it indeed is supported, as that is a vital feature for the site I am building.
- Does the theme have right-to-left support? I’m looking to have it in the Arabic version, as well as the standard English version.
Thank you in advance for answering these!
Sincerely, OnionEye
Hi @onioneye,
Yes, Merchandiser is WPML compatible and RTL ready.
Cheers, Adrian B
Hi GetBowTied
I noticed that the mobile Shop Page has no SEO Title or Description displaying. It is very easy to say that in one line ..but it took me almost 3 years trying to boost SEO of shop category pages with no results.
Maybe this is the reason – that there is no SEO valuable content displaying on mobile. Maybe not. But I think Google’s mobile first policy does take that into consideration. At least showing an H1 and the category description with related keywords would definitely help rank better.
I strongly recommend reassessing how SEO friendly is your responsive structure.
Of course I am using a SEO plugin ..but I am concerned about the SEO friendly structure of shop category pages.
Hi @vaschops,
Thank you for the feedback. Let me forward this note to our developers to further check.

Hi! I have installed the theme but noticed two issues. The slide-out cart, and slide-out preview window are lacking scroll bars. When many items are in the cart, the “checkout” and “cart” buttons aren’t visible. Since there are no scroll bars, it isn’t possible to scroll down. Could you fix this in an update?
Hi @whereskarlo,
Yes, the scroll bar is hidden but please note the mouse scrolling should work fine and natural if the mouse is over the Cart area.
Cheers, Adrian B
Hello,
What font does your official demo of Merchandiser use? I am not able to find it in the theme customizer – is it Google WebFonts?
Hi again,
The theme’s fonts should be available on Customizer > Fonts section. https://www.screencast.com/t/U7EaoVrWyZj Also you can use any Google font by selecting it on the same location.
Cheers, Adrian B
Hi Adrian, thanks. I was thinking about the font used here: https://merchandiser.wp-theme.design/shop/ I’d like to use it in my shop too, but I can’t seem to find it in the options. Which font combination is it?
Hi again,
That font is called Syne and is a Google font. https://www.screencast.com/t/CAygqMRL
Just type in the font name if you can’t find it through the suggested fonts.
Cheers, Adrian B
