I have a little issue with the OTP, I noticed that when user’s signup with OTP we will not be able to get the users name and email, please can you make the app force users to enter email address and name before they can use the app?

Your team needs to seriously look at the flaws of not forcing users to complete the signup and enter a name and email after they signup using OTP, because a user who sign up with OTP can’t get an ad or package expire email and they will not be able to get the expire alert via SMS either, which make the entire email features useless.

ANS: Please, the OTP to force a user to enter name and email is very necessary because without email, user cannot get email on the following activities

1. ads approved

2. Ads rejected

3. Ads expire

4. Ad’s package expire

5. User can not be reached at all, especially since the platform did not have SMS option to reach sellers

It means that all the email templates are useless

I have updated the prrvious ticket no: #2842328 See my simple proposal 1. if a user signup/signin with OTP once the person logged they should be a popup kind of form that will fill the screen with the two fields “Email and Name” with a save button, once the user fills the two fields and save or submit they user can be allowed access if, not the popup remains on the screen each time the user signin. 2. The same should happen to those that have already signup/signin with OTP before the popup is added, these will ensure that users data a captured both for the new users and old users, and that will enable admin to send email notifications for a various activity like package expired, ad expired, etc.

Kindly follow up there they will guide you what can be possible right now.

Major concerns in this Theme:

1. When a user buy a package on a 1st of June, let’s say the package has 30 days validity. The package expiry in the profile page shows as 30th June. When user buys another package which has 30 days validity, The package expiry getting doubled from 30th June to 30 July. This is common sense bug.

2. They say inorder to post featured ads, users should have simple ads. Because I was told that After feature ad is expired it would automatically become a simple ad. So you should have one featured ads remaining and one Simple ads remaining to post one featured ad. The way how they say is not working either. After the featured Ad expires, It doesn’t become a simple Ad. This is a code bug.

3. I have chosen only “Logged in” users to see the seller phone number. But because of theme bug anybody/non-logged in users can also see sellers phone number in their public profile. This is a Data Breach issue. Code bug.

4. Nobody knows clearly what is Simpe Ads, Featured Ads, Bump-up Ads and how it works. Even support are in Confusion. Support say to provide more simple ads and bump ads to user so that they will not have any issues while posting featured ads. For ex: Let’s say a user purchase 2 featured ads product, 1 with 7 days ad expiry and the other with 10 days ad expiry. Since the product and Package expiry is summed up, when the user post a Featured ad how does he know that the ad will expire in 7 days or 10 days. When you ask for any logical question, People in this theme support are bluffing.

5. There is no Tax Class that can be attached to the AdForest Product. Created a new Tax class in Woocommerce. But no option they have in the AdForect Product to Attach the Tax class to it.

6. Expired ad cannot be promoted as Featured Ad directly. Then what is the point of having “Mark featured” option in the Expired Ad. This creates unwanted confusion with users.

7. Search side bar, “Ad location” widget doesn’t show anything. Even if you have Ad location added. However It shows under the ‘Country’ Widget. I have to find a workaround for this. But still it’s a bug.

8. There is no way as an Admin you can track how many Ads are utilized by the user or Attempted to utilize and failed. For ex: Let’s say a user want to reactivate an expired Ad. He hit the “Bump up” ads button in the Ad under “MyAds” in profile page. And chose the option “Active” from the drop down. May be because of some system issue, That Ad hasn’t become Active and 1 bump-up ad count utilized. User calls support and explains. As an admin/support if you want to know what user say is real, You will have to check what package the user subscribed and how many Simple/featured ads he posted. And accordingly you will have to do the maths to find whether the user tells the Truth or lie. You will have to do all this manually. This is the biggest flaw. I doubt if this theme is for anybody who wants to do a serious classifieds business.

This is the process right now we have and there are thousands of users already using it. We are working on update so that can be updated in coming update. Regards

Lets say I have a package created with unlimited package expiry which has 5 simple ads. User subscribed for it. Then later that day he has subscribed for package with 30 days package expiry which has 3 simple ads. Now the remaining simple Ads would be summed up as 8. And the package expiry would be 30 days. Does it mean all 8 ads if he/she has to post before 30 days.

But before buying i need to confirm whether following options are available in matchmaker template. 01. Client should be able to post their advertisement without login to the website. For example click “Postad > filling the required fields > select a package > Pay using payment options.”(Does not need login option) 02. What kind of support I receive after the purchase?

Another big flaw I see in the theme is.

Let’s say today, i.e On 19-09-2021 I purchased a Simple Ads package(3Ads) which has 30 days expiry for simple ads. So In the profile page, The “Package Expiry” shows as 19-10-2021. So far so good, but

When I purchase another Simple Ads Package(3Ads) which has 30 days expiry. The Package expiry in Profile page changed to 18-11-2021

Good thing is, Simple Ads have been combined and shows as “6” Free Ads remaining. But why does it Multiplies the Package expiry as well ? As like 30 + 30 = 60 days (From 19-09-2021 to 18-11-2021)

I have already raised a concern with Support team. And they are trying to convince me as like that’s how it is. Am I not thinking straight in this ? The expiry day should be the highest day package expiry or The Last purchase of the package expiry day right ?

Hello, Yes, it works that way. The expiry date of the packages gets added up when you buy another package on top of the previous package. Similarly, their resources will be added up too. Regards!

I can’t access the admin dashboard anymore? I’m completely locked out of my site. Is this permanent?? Every time I type in mysite.com/wp-admin….it redirects me to the front end log in and says “2 attempts remaining” I cannot get to the WP admin dashboard at all. What do I do?? Is there a solution? Or do I have to delete the entire website from my hosting and start over?

My support is expired. So I have to purchase either a completely new instance of the theme or spend $48 for one question? And still might be out of luck? I never used the support while it was active – does that matter at all?

Hello, Issue could be the plugin you installed previously or any thing but we have to look into your website to get an idea what happened. I think you have installed a plugin that is saying two attempts remaining. When you purchase theme, you get 6 month of support and after that you have to pay as per the support policy. If you are not willing to pay you can just create ticket in general category at support forum that will not ask you for the purchase code. Regards

Greatings… Is there a feature in the app that allow evey country have there own subdomain so when someone visit the website from US for example they are redirected to us.website.com and when from France they are redirected to fr.website.com etc so every country have there own website and see their country ads only

No there is no such option for domains available with us where as we have the option to display ads of specific country in the app and web.

Can I pay you to add this option I think it can be done by installing the script for every country subdomain so there will be a database for every country and with some redirection coding in the home page Can I install your script more than once in the same website to accomplish that Thanks

This theme is very slow to load. Uploaded the theme and activated it in a dedicated server. Not in the shared hosting service but in the dedicated server. AWs with C5.large with 2vCPU and 4GiB memory. Checked in gtmetrix. It gives “D” rating. While checking with Support, I was asked to install plugin to clear cache. It was a brand new installation even then I was requested to clear cache. What cache will it have to clear it in brand new installation. Anyways I installed the wp rocket, the result is still slow then w3 total cache. Now if I check the Gtmetrix rating, it shows “D” and sometimes “E”. The load time it takes about 8 -9 seconds

To speed up WordPress website you have to take some steps and install cache plugin. Please communicate with support team they will be guiding you. Regards

Don’t talk like them. There is no real data in the website. I had imported the demo data. Just with the demo data itself, Theme is slow.

Hi, I would like to know if you can help with implementing the following: as soon as the customer pays for featured ads, I want the ad to be featured (without having to click on “Make Featured”. I need this to happen when users create an ad post and in the final step click on “packages”. So they buy the package and as soon as they pay (through paypal for example) the ad is already featured. All other ads posts remains the same (they choose whether they want the ad to be featured or not). Please advise

Hi anytime I make changes in the theme options and try to save it I get Error 403. Pleasse how do I fix this. I want to customize the message template to my own but I cannot do it because anytime I try error 403 happens. I have deactivated all plugins and reinstalled them one after the other but still gives me this error. Also I cannot change suppliers profile pic. When I someone try posting something it gives fix security issues which my website do not have security issues. please help. After buying the theme in Feb., I am now using it and it’s given me lots of issues.
