Please try to update your theme to the latest version which is 28.2 and Bridge Core to 2.9.8 If you need instructions on how to update the theme and included plugins, you can refer to the following article: How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins. Also you can try to navigate to Settings > Permalinks and save your settings once again.

Dear bridge theme,

I have a theme for years but since more recent updates more and more issues occur where my theme is not supported at all anymore because most likely of this error:

Your copy of the theme has not been activated. Please navigate to Bridge Dashboard where you can input your purchase code and activate your copy of the theme so you can have access to all the theme features, elements & options.

However, my theme is active and deactivating and registering doesn’t help. I never made adjustments in this, I just update the theme as per normal, but my website doesnt function at all under the theme despite no changes. Does this mean that your theme doesnt support my website anymore?

If the update is done correctly and if you follow our instructions on how to update the theme you should not loose any content nor changes you made. Additionally if you made some changes in the themes files using the parent theme this would be overwritten though, so make sure you make these changes using the child theme.

I have been doing everything correctly and it the way that is has been set up. Never made any changes or such. My content is not gone, the content is still there, but as it is part of the editor mostly where you need an active theme for it is not showing in the front end, even if it shows half way in the backend. I will send an email so that hopefully the theme will gets activated again. Thanks

Please navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins and check if Bridge Core plugin is updated to the latest version. After the theme update all of the bundled plugins with available update should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins. If Bridge Core plugin needs updating please update it and then navigate to Qode Options -> General and click on ‘Save Changes’ button in order to generate a new dynamic CSS file.

Is there a way to make a mobile dropdown menu scrollable? I have a large dropdown menu that cuts off most of the links.

Hi bug with Qode Slider. Used to fade nicely and now just fades abruptly with users having no control over it (looked and looked and could not find a way to change this). I am not talking about the 6s default between slides I am talking about the time it takes for each slide to fade down (that we can change). Can you reset to the old values please? No point using fade if it does not really fade. Thx NK

Hello! I have several sites using Bridge and every one is registered and the purchase code is entered in the Bridge Dashboard. However, I haven’t been able to auto update the theme for over a year now. I always just deactivate the theme, and upload a new version, which is cumbersome to say the least! Is there something I need to do allow auto updates on all my sites? Thank you!

Hello im going crazy, i cant change color of the sticky menu (under 767px).

Its : @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) #Top_bar { background-color: #292c2e !important; }

I want it transparent, no background, ive tryied : background:none or background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.0)

But nothing happens, ive tryed a lot of combinaison child/parent, nothing happens.

Hey Qode, Bridge is our bread and butter. How can we Disable Attachment Pages for Media on the portfolio custom post? we don’t want that all images used on portfolio be accessed by those way. specially on google Search.. Thx

I have 2 licenses for Bridge and when I enter them into the Bridge Dashboard I get the ‘successfully registered’ message. But when I update the theme to something newer than 25.9 I get a message saying that the theme is not registered. If I de-register and re-register I get ‘successfully registered’ once again – but the theme no longer works (no backgrounds images, formatting breaks). Please check if you’ve also updated Bridge Core to the latest version. Please navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins and all of the plugins which require update should be listed there. After that navigate to Qode Options > General and click on ‘Save Changes’ button in order to generate a new dynamic CSS file.

Thank you that has solved the problem. Saving Changes in the Code Options page is not an obvious step for updating a theme and the error message does not give any helpful clues.

The message was most likely related to Bridge Core plugin, in case it wasn’t updated to the latest version. It’s important to update this plugin too when the theme is updated, as this plugin is the one with core functionalities of the theme. Saving changes in Qode Options is also important so dynamic CSS file, with all of the options you’ve set in Qode Options, could be generated.

Hello, I found some requests here about adding the year to the date in single post. It would make sense if you imported a blog with its archive instead of making a new one.

Since these requests was posted some years ago, have you considered the possibility to add this option in the meantime? Or can you give us a kind of patch to edit blog templates in order to call date function with year?

Unfortunately at the moment my support has expired but I think this answer would be useful for other users as well, don’t you?

Hello, I just wanted to share how to change date format in a single post. I found the answer by myself in the help center and it works!

Be careful before modifying a template. You’d better make a copy, as usual.

How can I stop the full screen menu and mobile menu (including logo) from appearing on a particular page?
