There is a bug in the Vehicle Listing Settings when Use on modern car filter is ticked.
The Close box by default setting (under Use on listing archive as checkboxes) has no effect.
If Close box by default is selected for each of my filter categories, when the filters display they ARE NOT closed, but open.
I need to have the filters closed by default on the vehicle listings screen.

Those settings are only for the STM Classic filter element. The Modern filter displays the category options as checkboxes by default. Therefore, it doesn’t make sense to enable the “Use on listing archive as checkboxes” option for the Modern filter.

You need to modify the STM Modern filter element template via Child theme and apply your modifications. Here you can find the needed template ”.../wp-content/themes/motors/vc_templates/stm_modern_filter.php”.

1. The theme layouts contain a unique structure and complex functionality. Therefore, it isn’t possible to use the modules from one layout while using the backend functionality of another one.
2. You can easily translate the theme into another language using the Loco Translate plugin. If you need a multilingual website you’ll need to use the WPML plugin.
Also, please note, the current version of the Motors partly supports RTL. Therefore, there might be some styling issues in Arabic.
3. The support license doesn’t cover custom modifications in the core code of the theme. Please have a look at our support policy – https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy

Sure, you can install those layouts on multisite with the same license. In other words, you’ll need two separate websites on a sub-domain.

1) Can I add more photos to a car?
2) Can I add guarantee money during the online purchase (i.e. a deposit which the customer must pay, which is eventually returned back in case no damage is done to the car)?
3) During booking where does the customer provide his details (i.e. name, address, passport number etc..)? can I add or remove some fields in this forum?
4) Can I use some module from “auto rental two” theme into “auto rental one”
5) Can I add my own payment method?
6) Can one person book multiple cars? for same date and for different dates?
7) Is there option for cancelling the booking?
Can the customer upload any documents during booking (i.e. passport or ID card)?
9) Does the theme has functionality of sending automated emails? if yes, then can I customised emails message?
10) Can I change the search by car type, or model?
11) Can I add video to banner image?
12) Which editing plugin the theme is using (Elementor or something else)?
1-2-9-10-11. The theme doesn’t contain those kinds of functionalities by default. The rental system works exactly as shown on our demo website.
3-6-8. The rental system was built based on the WooCommerce plugin. Therefore, the theme uses the default features of that plugin such as checkout, payment methods, and managing orders.
Customers provide details on the Checkout page and it needs to modify the core templates of the theme to include custom fields such as file upload.
You can add any kind of payment method supported by WooCommerce.
7. Customers manage their orders on the account page. Here you can read more about that – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/getting-started/the-my-account-page/

Can you please tell me regarding the photos of the car, as it is not possible to add in this theme is there anyway that I can hire a developer and he can do that or the theme layout does not allow such modifications at all? Or is it possible that I can link another page to the listing i.e. once someone wants to rent a particular car, he can click on the car’s photo and he will be taken to a separate page with all information regarding the car? (same as you have in car dealership theme)
Please also be kind to answer the following questions regarding the car dealer theme: 1) Is there any theme where clients can sell their cars on the website (i.e. post ads of their own car)? 2) Is there a functionality that the client can bid on a car? 3) Is there a way that client can propose their own price? 4) Can I build a page where I can show the cars which were sold before? 5) As my business is concerned with buying damaged cars and repairing them and after that selling them, Can I have the option to post before and after repair photos of the car?

You will get the full source templates of the theme. So your developers can apply custom modifications via using the Child Theme.
Please be aware that customizations of this nature fall outside our scope of support and we will be unable to assist you with issues that may arise from it.
1-3. That kind of functionality is available in the Motors Classified Listings layouts. User and dealers can post their listings on the theme. However, there is no online selling functionality by default.

Hi, Could you please help with a problem that appeared with update 5.0.9 (motorcycle) ? In shop (woo) the title of the single product (page that shows the description and photos of product) does not correspond to the title that was defined in page options ( https://ibb.co/7VWp4Rj ) Instead, on all single product pages it’s showing the title : Magasin ( https://ibb.co/sb73TGB )
Before update the correct title from page options was shown; I tried to figure out why it’s not working because the rest of these page options like colour of title and background-image is working. So there is only an issue with the title on the single product page. h1 class=”h1” style=”color:#77c944;”>Magasin I don’t understand where ‘magasin’ is coming from and how to make the different titles of products work again. Currently, the title box section is displaying the title of the archive shop page. So the Magasin is a title of the page that you set as a shop page in the WooCommerce Settings.
We have transferred this problem to our developers’ team. The fix will be available in our future updates. Please try to disable the title box on product pages for now.

There is a sort option only by Date in the Sort filter. Other options are custom taxonomies, so you need to edit them directly in the Listings > Listing Categories section.
You’ll need to enable them in the Theme Options > Inventory Settings section. Please note, only numeric categories can be displayed in the Sort filter.

The only strings that exist on STM Motors Extends, are “Price: highest first” and “Mileage: highest first”... I reuploaded the stm_motors_extends.pot file from the latest zip. Searched with Loco Translate and Notepad++.
Even the pot file on your demo (https://motors.stylemixthemes.com/wp-content/plugins/stm-motors-extends/languages/stm_motors_extends.pot) is the same with ours and doesn’t contain the “%s highest first” string that you mentioned.
The main problem is that you are ignoring the provided instructions. You need to update the language files to translate the desired strings. The navigation menu and the inventory filter are not linked with each other. If you added 3 items to your menu, it doesn’t mean that they should be displayed in the filter options.
Moreover, the STM Classic filter element displays the categories assigned at least to one listing. So ensure that you assigned all your categories to the respective listings.

That’s not make sense, I have added locations to the relevant listing but still there is not showing all of the locations in the main listing page. If we select the separate listing then we can say it should be one location but in the main listing page it should show all the locations?
Only two locations are showing in the filter, not all the three locations.
The STM Classic filter doesn’t display when the category options are empty. If you are sure that you have assigned your Location category options to listings, please renew your support and submit a ticket.
We will troubleshoot the issue directly on your website since that is the basic functionality of the Motors work on other websites.

The problem doesn’t relate to the browser at all. Also, it is in the code level since the Special Offers carousel is working on our demo website.
However, it is not working only on your website even in Chrome. Because your website is loading from the cache folder of the 3rd party plugin. So please clear the cache of your plugin or deactivate such kinds of plugins in your WordPress.

That means you manually added the shortcode of the search form to your slider. So you need to set up the search form on the page via WPBakery Page Builder and then add its shortcode to your slider. Here is an example:
