I believe you are referring to the Newspaper theme, not Newsmag. The Newsmag theme doesn’t use cloud templates. It is one of the differences between the themes https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-vs-newsmag-how-to-choose-the-perfect-wordpress-theme-for-your-project/

Each author has an author page, but there is no authors page by default, meaning a page where all the authors are displayed. You can create one however. Create a page and then there are a few ways to display authors. You could use multiple author boxes, for example https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/author-box/ or even the team member element https://tagdiv.com/team-member-element-present-team/ Also check some “About” pages from the cloud library https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Pages Some of them could be adapted to display the authors.

Or maybe you are referring to the author box in the author page, that could be removed with some CSS entered in the theme panel custom CSS section https://pastebin.com/bcairkXM

The theme provides quite a few templates for category archive pages, besides the option to build templates for yourself https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/ These templates are for default categories, not custom taxonomies, these cannot use the same templates.

In pages the theme blocks have filter and sorting options to allow you to display the posts you want, how you want them. A sorting method by random posts exists for the blocks https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ The blocks can display posts from custom post types, if that is what you mean.

Regarding the ads, I don’t quite understand what you would like to do. If you are referring to the post content, the theme provides ad spots where the ad codes can be entered. If you will using custom post types, there will be 3 general (not per post) ad spots for the post content.

I understand what you mean, but unfortunately Envato doesn’t provide an option to exchange a theme with another one. The only way would be to request a refund for the theme you want to exchange and purchase the one you would like to use. Here is a similar topic https://forums.envato.com/t/theme-exchange-option/307308 However, a refund can be requested and approved by us but only within a reasonable amount of time. In this particular case I’m afraid we won’t be able to provide a refund. So the only way to be able to use the Newspaper theme is to purchase it. Let me know if you have questions.

That depends, are the required OG meta tags loaded on the website? These tags are necessary for sharing on most socials, and please note that the theme will not load them itself. Each website owner can choose their preferred method of loading them. I believe the most popular way of loading them is with the Yoast SEO plugin https://yoast.com/help/getting-open-graph-for-your-articles/ You could try it, or try a different plugin or method. Then test with the Facebook debug tool in case there is a problem https://yoast.com/help/why-doesnt-facebook-display-an-image/

I have checked your website, and I see the OG meta tags are not loaded. Please note that these are required in order to share properly on Facebook https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/webmasters/ I suggest checking the guides I provided, and trying what I suggested. Else the sharing on socials will mot likely not work correctly. Also be sure to use large enough images https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/webmasters/images/

Usually the SEO plugins handle the sharing on socials. For example the Yoast SEO plugin https://yoast.com/help/getting-open-graph-for-your-articles/ But you can use your preferred plugin or method. Without loading the necessary meta tags for your website, the sharing may not work correctly. The theme will not load them, each user can choose the way or the plugin they use on their websites.
