Hello, this is a pre sales question because the customer has all the iCal feeds configured in a channel manager and we have the possibility to export feeds from channel manager and import in wprentals as we have the possibility to import in Channel manager the wprentals iCal feed. In my perspective I don’t see any problems here what’s your opinion?

Hi psvferreira, Thank you for the message. ical feeds work in a specific way, and you have to consider this because it is a key feature. ical feeds export only the bookings made on the feed origin. So if you have bookings in channel manager, you export the bookings with the ical feed from the manager. If you have bookings made in airbnb (just an example) and you add the ical feed from airbnb to channel manager, the ical feed from the channel manage will NOT include these airbnb bookings. You can however add in WpRentals multiple ical feeds, so you can add the airbnb and the channel manage feeds from this examples and all the bookings will sync.

Our wprentals site will be for a single owner (admin) and in this case the payments from the renters will be directly paid to the owner (admin) and the instant booking should be an automatic process for both, admin and renter, or some manual confirmation is needed?
Another question is regarding translation. I know that you recommend Weglot or WPDM, but I work with TranslatePress. You know some issue with TranslatePress?
For know this is the most important questions before purchase.

Admin can get paid without manual confirmation if admin sets automatic payment apis (ex paypal, stripe etc) Instant booking checked ensures owner approval is not needed for the booking request. Hello,
I’m using WPML to translate some properties. I also have some extra options on those properties (daily cleaning, pool heating etc). And i managed to translate them all to the 2nd language with wpml with no problems. However the issue is that now i need to add another extra option. And because the front-end edit page only shows my properties in the 1st language, I can’t add those options in the 2nd language as well. Is my only option to delete the translated property and re-create again in order to translate all the extra options?

I’ve recently purchased the WP Rentals. Its a great theme and just what I was looking for. I’m having an issue where when a renter goes to pay an invoice nothing happens when the “pay now” button is clicked. Is this because I did not properly set up my Paypal Api?
Hi TrystanG1, Thank you very much for buying the theme and for the feedback. From the description it looks like the setup is not correct. PAY NOW is usually used by woocoomerce. If that is correct, you have to set the merchants in WooCommerce. We can check and guide you to the documentation to follow, but we need wp-admin to check first.

Now, it give us thought that only admin of site will receive the payment, but how can admin of website will then distribute that payment to 100’s of users who rented out property and how admin can manage and keep record of that payment? its almost impossible to manage then how this system work, we are confused too much on that system,

Even we need to add the feature with custom coding please do give us price how much it will cost us to add such feature
Hi, admin cannot distribute payments. He cannot do that from the theme. And to add this as custom coding is not a viable solution. You need to integrate an API solution and a wallet solution. It would be too complex to worth the custom development fees needed to create such an extension to the theme. Thank you

First, please note that we do not sell item with WpRentals.
Each item you offer for booking comes with a booking form. If a period is booked, the item blocks the calendar availability (so you can only use 1 property for 1 item to rent)
1. The theme is not meant to work for different types of items to add at the same time. As you add a listing you have a submit form with a list of fields you select to show from theme options. But these fields are the same fields
2. I do not know where you wish to show search or if you wish to change search. You can place search over hero header if that is the question
3. The field you see in our demos for location – example https://main.wprentals.org/ can be used in a custom search form which you can manage from theme options.
4. WE do not have any way to pay the owner. All payments that can be processed through the theme always go to site admin.
We do not have any APP either.

Hi Alex, Thank you Since we do not have a field named price per week, or use weekly booking, what you is not a simple change to make through code.
Here are some possible easy solutions (no code)
If you use the booking form with price per night – you can put the price per week as before or after the price value (as text)
If you do not use booking form (but the contact form) you can use directly the before or after price label without adding price per night.
These would be the easiest method that we could advise how to do. If you need to add new fields and then change booking too, for that we can partially guide, and we can explain how to find the existing theme code sections. But the code would still have to be added by you and it will need technical knowledge to apply.

Hello, with new update is it possible to make renter full price and not deposit if he rents after “payment full date”? so for example if the setting is that full payment have to be 10 days before arrival, so renter rent the property just 1 day before arrival so then full payment need to be paid. if is it not working with new update is possible to make this work somehow? as i a very important thing in the holiday rental business!

I am afraid there is no way to force user to pay. He can get the reminder, which he does not, but we have no way to force him to pay. We do not save user payment info. He must initiate the payment and pay through the merchants you have available.

Hi! Pre-sale qs! Is it possible to have a listing with booking option with day or/and hours? We need to have some spaces with a “per hour” prices and other with “per day” prices. Right now, we only want to have the form to request the booking with not payment option at first, because we need first confirmation of the coworking spaces. You can set 0 deposit and so no payment happens. Just booking requests are sent and owners approve the request before it is confirmed.
If you will decide to set a deposit, the money will go always to site admin. We do not have a payment to owner option.

The calendars synchronize correctly from the portals to the web, but the reservations made on our website do not synchronize with booking, airbnb, etc.. The icals of the properties on the portals are perfectly imported. This has stopped working, can you help us? We have everything updated to the latest version.
Hi Luis, We have not changed anything in the ical and this is the first time we hear about such a situation. I just imported a calendar from rentals to google and dates show.
