I have been asking for over 2 years now, create a simple download selector to make it possible to download specific folders or files from the big zip. It’s not a big deal, create it as a free plugin for themeforest.net if need be.

The React version is available inly with Typescript. You can use Metronic 7 with JS by getting it from our private Metronic Github repo: https://github.com/KeenthemesHub/Metronic from Metronic v7 tagged version.

just to help i think import { useLocation } from “react-router”; not working anymore for version 7 we need to update it to import { NavLink, useLocation } from “react-router-dom”; to make it work.

What’s the reasons why you didn’t integrate typeahead ‘https://github.com/twitter/typeahead.js' but it was there in Metronic 7.
despite the reasons, are you gonna inlcude a library like typeahead in Metronic8, ?
since it was so hard to immitate it’s functionality using tagify or select2..

It makes me angry, since my client bought this template they have offered some updates, especially the REACT CRUD, they have been offering that update for months and nothing that uploads it, they are asked and they do not give a date, I am really disappointing of METRONIC The year will end and they never uploaded the update, they are embarrassing to others.

We are working on the complete React CRUD solution and it’s taking time since we have to implement the datatable component for React 17 from scratch to support pagination, filtering, search, column orders, and add/edit records in modal forms or inline pages with tabbed one to many relation child datatables. This will be released as soon as we complete the CRUD solution as we designed it. Appreciate your understanding.

You can add below new API methods in “core\html\src\js\components\dialer.js” after line number 199:
the.setMinValue = function(value) {
the.options.min = value;
}
the.setMaxValue = function(value) {
the.options.max = value;
}
Then you can change the min and max values via these API methods as explained here:

I know Sean that people were complaining for the theme size. but … the select2 drive me nuts … to re-arrange the layout in RTL, that’s why why i was requesting your own RTL bundle copilling files, because I think that there”s a diff from the one your live bundle and the one that we compile.

For your In-house DateTime picker that would be awsome, the state of our project is stopped because of there’n a complete working solution for DateTime picker, (our concern is working inside Modal)
Any ETA on your in house DateTime picker ?
You should put more effort on i18 support and pay attention closely to data time Format for every country.
I would love to contribute for the French, Arabic version (I already did for the Date Time format for Django/Fullcalendar even Put some PR in flatpickr githup) and some trnslations.
Also it has to work in Bootstrap modals the same way it would for a standard inline page.

You can update the Metronic updates by replacing the “src” folder and also required HTML files by using code diff tools for required html files. Thank you for your interest in Metronic.
Some pages from the HTML version do not exist in Laravel. But the CSS styles from the HTML version have already been integrated into Laravel. All the components from the HTML version are static and non-working components. You can just copy the component HTML from the HTML version, and paste it into the Laravel component to get the same style. The actual functionality and implementation need to be done by the customer because every customer has its own business requirements.

Your download file is way to BIG!!! 5GB!!! 3GB compressed!!! 2 hours to unzip the files… Guys, you have one of the most perfect admin theme but you have to split your versions into separate download files like: angular.zip, html.zip, react.zip etc…

I am looking at Demo 8 and would pretty much like to duplicate a lot of that for my internal site.
My questions are ;
a) if I buy this latest version, does it come with fully working demo’s so I can simply copy the files I want across and just update field and table names names ? In other words is there full demo data, demo database, etc etc.
b) if we have an previous version of Metronic, can this just be copied in over that, or are there a lot of changes needed to an existing site using a previous version of Metronic.
I should mention we use ASP and Windows, so we would not be using Laravel etc.

The Laravel version of Metronic comes with some fully working pages and modules as you can check in the preview site: https://keenthemes.com/metronic At the moment Demo 8 does not have the Laravel version. You can use the HTML version of Demo 8 but it comes as a static HTML theme that you will need to integrate with your server side code in order to make your site fully functional.The previous versions of Metronic(v5, v6, v7) are not compatible with the current v8 since they use different versions of Bootstrap and the KT core framework.

Is there an upgrade path? By that I mean, we bought a business site (not just a template but a full business) from another company which I think uses Metronic v4 (not 100% sure) and want to upgrade to the last v8 The site uses Microsoft Classic ASP

Sorry for the late reply. Upgrading v4 to v8 requires full code rewrite. Metronic v8 uses the latest Bootstrap 5 and other plugins that are not compatible with Metronic v4.

You can try to remove and exclude the js files from angular.json. The demo landing page does not require js file. The style should be already included. You have to copy the HTML structure similar to HTML version.

Maybe you have an issue with your build? Our original theme has all the Bootstrap classes and we have no such issue reported by other users. You can double check the original style.bundle.css from our preview site; https://preview.keenthemes.com/metronic8/demo1/assets/css/style.bundle.css All grid classes are in there.

your style.bundle.css have col-sm col-md- col-lg col-xl col-xxl , but missing the col-xs
To use the smallest breakpoint you can just use “col-6, col-8, col-3”.
“xs” breakpoint value is by default ‘0px’ so it does not have utility classes. If you need to use “xs” breakpoint you can set a value and recompile the assets and the Bootstrap SASS will generate “xs” util classes. For more info please check: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.1/layout/grid/

Could you please check this location in your laravel? Please make sure if these files exist. The error says some files are missing in that location. Eg. resources/src/webpack/scripts.js resources/src/webpack/plugins/plugins.js
