I have a question. If I buy your product and release a maintenance ticket, everything I write here liek a request can be changed? I’m glad there is a new version, but the old one was easier for the end user and administrator.

Here are some of the things I saw with a colleague using version 4.0.4 and my questions are:

Provided that we have a hotel with 10 rooms and each room is rented only once for the period.

When viewing the room and selecting dates for reservations, is it possible not to show the other available rooms, but only the selected one? And the default option to stay only if you check dates via reservation button in the right top corner, but when you enter in specific room, only show in the result this room.

Can step 2 be removed when you make reservations? I know that the options can be removed, but the step of booking is visualized. 1 2 3 4. Can step 2 not be displayed?

There is no option in the translation to translate the letter from which the first word “To” comes from the booking plugin, it is missing in the pot file.

I am aware that there is an option for two emails, from the booking plugin and from woocommerce. I know that the email can be removed from the woocommerce, but when we have a deposit and we have given the customer the opportunity to book only by paying a deposit, and the remaining amount on arrival, if we stop the the woocommerce email, the email to the customer receives from the booking plugin is only for the full amount. There the client does not see how much the deposit is to demand that it be paid.

Both emails confuse customers. Believe that

It would be great if the email from the booking plugin also visualizes the deposit.

When buying the product, can these things be changed? They will definitely benefit everyone.

You are wrong. We check your code. Just check what I write. Okay don’t fix ti untill you waiting for some ticket from who u want, okay, but STRING “To” Doesn’t go to the mail string cuz for the reservation cuz is not a string anyway it’s not the big problem but next time check before write.

Let me explain you exatlcy this situation.

You have 1 room, client booked it, The only set method to make a reservation is a Cash on delivery set by admin from WooCommerce. And we set Deposit 30%. And the rules that owner of the hotel set and admin is to pay this 30% Deposit – To be paid not through the system of WooCommerce, clients recieved email with bank account ifo, so they must pay this deposit otuside the webside and woo.

They only must be informed, how much is total and the deposit. They have 4 days to pay, till this time the dates are booked, if client don’t pay, admin manual remove the reservation.

So clients start to get confused with this two emails, even if its writen what is about in the mails.

About 10 sites work with your old Soho Hotel, when client gets only 1 mail.

I know what u tell to me and other – yes woocommerce mail can be stoped and client will recieved only the mail with total, but withn no info how much is 30% of the total.

Like I say, peope use your work in different ways, and not everyone wanna use woocommerce functions and payment options.

And if we check booking com airnbng and other themes from themeforest, you are the 1st one to set 2 emails with info, and mess is just start on client side.

NO cuz the soho booking system and woocommerce is used just to inform how much money they need to pay – the deposit, and what is the total – in the site is okay, but with emails is mess. The owner give 4 5 days to the client to pay the deposit in several options, bank transfer, western union and etc.

One more thing – when making a reservation, why is it necessary to show all the rooms in the admin panel, and not only the reserved one?

Unnecessary and confusing for associates who have no idea of code.

From a good working system and simple to manage it successfully begins to become complex and will not be preferred.

We will change what we can in the code.

We wanted it to be built-in as an option, but obviously it won’t happen.

shb-core-functions.php line 2447 – $to_name = ‘To {recipient_name},’; – To isn’t string, Yes it is in po file but u must change here to get it from different languages. Also dd/mm/yyyy in booking widget isn’t string also… Like I say with the reservation mails…it can be one but with all info…not like now…Little things will make it perfect booking plugin and template…

2.) We remove it from the code…so it’s possible: I mean there isn’t an option to do that, of course if you start editing the code then anything is possible, but please understand that custom coding work falls outside the scope of the support I provide

There’s a small delay between when you update support and when the Envato API for the support forum updates, if you wait a few minutes and then try again it will work.

Nope, the notification email should be sent from the point of booking, so for example if you’re syncing with booking.com or Aribnb, they will send you the notification email for bookings on their website. Soho Hotel doesn’t need to duplicate this.

Yes you can checkout in WooCommerce after selecting the rooms. There’s a demo website available which shows this, you can click on “Preview item” in the item description to see it.

We have a license to Soho Hotel Booking. A recent upgrade from 3.2.2 to 4.0 broke a lot of stuff. I don’t know where to start. Where do I find my purchase code and registration info so that I may open a ticket?

This is a pre sales question. I have a client with a Vila with 4 Rooms. He is expecting to rent the Whole villa as well as individual rooms. Can this accommodate this requirement. Ex: Once a room is booked, The “whole villa” should be blocked automatically. But should be able to book other rooms individually. And if some one book the whole villa for particular date range, all other individual rooms should be automatically blocked. Is this requirement supported by your booking system? or do we have any possibility of write a customize function to do this? or do you have any paid services to get this done?

Sure you can hire a developer to customize whatever you want, although please bear in mind you’d need to do this independently since I don’t do customization work myself.
