Hello, I am using the Vue Demo 7 example as shown at https://preview.keenthemes.com/metronic8/vue/demo7/#
My goal is to make my table dynamic, pulling data from my API. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years using datatables server-side processing as shown at https://datatables.net/examples/server_side/simple.html and in the below example.
However, as I investigate the template, I can only find KTDatatable example which expects the entire dataset. Due to large amounts of data, I need to query my server with paging. Can you provide an example of how to do this with your Vue demo 7 template?

Unfortunately, we do not have a demo example on how to use our component with the real API, we will add it in upcoming releases.
As you can see in our doc KTDatatable component supports three events, you can use these to make HTTP requests to your server. https://preview.keenthemes.com/metronic8/vue/docs/#/kt-datatables#events
Other actions like edit, search and update can be done outside of the component.

Thanks for the response. I was able to make it process the data server side and got just about all the functionality of dataTables server-side processing.
Just an F.Y.I., the events are not very useful in this case. It was much easier to modify KTDatatable file and add the functionality there.

Sorry for the question, I installed Laravel on my hosting, then bought Metronic and downloaded to the Mac.
Once the folder was unpacked I found a Laravel folder.
How do I install it on my hosting where Laravel already exists?

Metronic Laravel app is a full source code of Laravel. Migrating into your existing Laravel application will be complicated. If you haven’t start the Laravel project yet, please remove your existing Laravel and replace it with the Metronic Laravel. And then start to develop on top of the Metronic Laravel application.

Thanks for the info. I tried to copy the entire Metronic LARAVEL folder but it gives me the following error:
Fatal error: require (): Failed opening required ’/laravel/public/../vendor/autoload.php’ (include_path = ’.: / Usr / local / php74 / pear’) in /laravel/public/index.php online 34
I don’t know where I’m wrong nor do I know the procedure to fix the problem.
However, I also found that my server doesn’t support Node, so I don’t know if it will work.
My fault, I should have inquired first and I threw the money away.

The error shows, you haven’t setup the Laravel using “composer install”.
Please check this docs to get started. My suggestion is you can do on your localhost first to get started.

Hello! On Metronic v8.0.35 Select2 has no visible keyboard navigation. Basically if you navigate with keys, it do select but you can not see where exactly you are and what you are selecting.

Hello. I Need both LTR and RTL on the same page. How can I Show File manager as LTR in RTL version ?

Seems it cannot be done. Either LTR or RTL can be enabled globally at a time for one. Both has different CSS files and cannot be included both at the same time.
