Hello, Please help us solve the issue of images, for any image uploaded the theme generates 12 images for different size, it is really a disaster, catastrophe for people that upload every day 100 cars with 10 images for every car, you have to reduce the number of generated images to 2 or 3 at max, i didn’t find on the source code where you generate these images to reduce the number, please help us.

The theme is coming with different layouts with different size of images and to provide flexibility with performance generate the images as user can switch the layout anytime.

Hello, what kind of impact you speak about !!! i will make the modification on my website and i will assume the responsability, so there is any impact on your theme, this is a great issue, my website is very very slow because very day i import more than 100 cars and now i can’t update plugins or install any plugin because the wordpress dashboard is very very slow due to the upload directory you have to help us solve this issue, it is really a disaster for us, you need just to give us the file where we can make the change thanks a lot
When you sell a vehicle the stock doesn’t go down by itself. You have to manually disable the stock. Is there a way to fix this? Have I missed a setting for this?

There is also a problem with logo setting in theme options. I have set different logo for sticky header but it’s not displaying. It’s only displaying the main logo and that’s not ok because the color of the logo is different and it’s not visible. Can you fix that as well? This is a problem on desktop and mobile as well.

First of all on stock as this is car dealer theme and when you add car you should add unique VIN number so always there is 1 stock. As per user demand we have integrated with WooCommerce dynamically where there is no need to maintain stock as when you add car logically the stock is 1 still we will look into this and receive more request similar to it then we may add this in future but current we are not getting requests on stock.
We have tested logo with fresh installation of the theme and it is working fine still we try to replicate the issue as per your arrangement and give update as soon as possible.

Hi! After updating to newest version of Car Dealer and Car Dealer Helper the pieces of content disappear from my site. Look here: https://centrum.auto.pl/ There are two Potenza Vehicle By Type on this site. One is ok – it’s POSZUKAJ AKTUALNYCH OFERT – WG MARKI POJAZDU (tab by make). Second, below, POSZUKAJ AKTUALNYCH OFERT – WG TYPU NADWOZIA is blank. There should be (and before update were) tab with car body styles. Now it disappear. Can you check this out and issue an update that will eliminate this bug?

Thank you for the reply, it would be good when new design changes are added they are optional and don’t just change the style of your site with no way to keep the older option. I cannot change the site title due to SEO and its capitalises the first letter after a dot so shows .Co.Uk which looks incorrect. I don’t see the point in the breadcrumb on the search page as its just home page > search you are not deep into a archive site.
Plus no other page has the breadcrumb (which I do not want), so why just on the search page? Spoils the clean look of the site.

Hello, really there is a huge issue with this theme: the number of images generated every time we import an image : there 12 images on different size generated for the same image, it is really very very huge number and it will impact the performance of the website and the storage, imagine every day we import 100 cars for every car we import 10 images the theme will genreate 1200 images it is abnormal you need to find a solution for this at least reduce the number of generated images to 3 images !!!!

I think you didn’t understand my comment, iam not speaking about image size, iam speaking about the number of sizes genretaed for every imported image, it is a huge number, 12 sizes for every imported image, it is very very huge, you have to reduce this number to 3 at max imagine a customer import 1000 cars / day and for every car there 20 images it is a disaster really!!!!

There are complexity comes with design and flexibility let me explain you why we create 10 images for a single image as
1. There are total 14 home pages. 2. List page layouts are 2 with 7 variations. 3. Detail page layouts are 4. 4. Total from 31 Short-Codes and 6 related to Car-Images. 5. 2 Blog listing style with 8 listing variations.
from flexibility point of view, you can change layouts as per your need without compromise the performance and data.

We are currently testing the theme with WordPress 5.9. But, at the initial stage, the Car Dealer theme (v.3.7.1 – latest version) has no error on the inventory page with WordPress 5.9 (see below screencast). It could be something else due to which you are facing this problem.

You can manage attributes from Admin Panel > Vehicle Inventory > Add/Edit Attributes. Currently, you can edit core attributes, but there is no option to delete them.
