Just wanted to add to the fact that the mobile menu is not working since the most recent update. I’ve disabled all plugins in use across all sites and it’s common to all of them – so it is Hazel related.
This is a new bug caused by Hazel and my ‘support’ period has expired. I don’t think I should have to pay to tell you about this.

We couldn’t reproduce this behavior on our local installation. Please check if you’ve also updated Hazel Core plugin to latest version. When updating theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from this article – How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins. After you update theme all of the bundled plugins with available update should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

All updated as I always have done since 2014 with this theme. The previous two commenters have the same issue – are we all making identical mistakes? To reiterate, this is happening on multiple installs – not just one.
The mobile menu appears fine but when you click a link, it just closes the mobile menu. First time this has happened with this theme.
It worked perfectly on 4.4.1.
I rolled back to 4.4 (but with current plugins) and the mobile menu works again. An update will need to be pushed.

The website menue when using the phone is not working since we had the recent theme update. We can’t find the error to fix it eitehr. When I click on the item on the menue, it just closes the entire menue. Does anyone know how to fix this error?

Hello, I would like the slider, Slider 6, to scale in ratio so the full slide shows on mobile devices and the like, instead of a very tall image showing on mobile. How do I set it to scale down and keep the ratio? Love the theme as a whole!! Thank you!

Hi, We have upgraded from 3.1.0 to 4.4.1. Everything is fine except the porfolio items don´t show the “show more” button any more. Also the portfolio items don´t show the grid properly, every image has different sizes which didn´t happen before.

Hi! I have followed the suggestions of how to upgrade everything, I have also upgraded WP Bakery to 6.4.2. I created an account for support but it says “Support for “Hazel – Creative Multi-Concept Theme” item has expired”.
Unfortunately still the size of pictures are not right in the portfolio, portfolio items are missing and the show more button doesn´t show anymore

Hello, it is now over a year since the theme has been updated. And Wordpress 5.9 is due to be launched in December. Is the theme still being developed? And if so, when will an update be released? I have paid for support ever since I first purchased a licence for the theme back in 2015. However I need to advise my client if I should continue with this or if we need to move the site to a theme that is going to be kept up-to-date. I fully understand some themes get retired. You just need to be clear and honest with us. Thank you.

Our dev team is working hard at the moment on updating all our themes. We don’t have any ETA when this update will come out, however you can try using this plugin as a temporary solution if you run into issues with widgets on the latest WordPress version. WP 5.8 introduces block based widgets feature and we do recommend using this plugin which reverts widgets back to classic as a temporary solutions until combability with block based widgets feature is added.

The load more button on the portfolio page does not display after I updated the theme. ( and image_size=”square” is not working properly as well ) It worked fine before the update. I have 16 list items in total.
What I tried:
- Portfolio List Settings -> Show load more: yes / number: 12
- Settings > Reading -> set up Blog pages show at most and from Portfolio List Settings, Show load more set to blank
Either way did not work. Please let me know how I can resolve this.

Hi, I neded to enter purchase code to update Layer Slider as it doesn’t slide anymore – however the code I got from downloaded PDF file was INVLID, with the message: Your purchase code appears to be invalid. Please take special care to enter it correctly without accidentally including spaces or other additional characters. Please note, this feature won’t accept your theme’s purchase code. This also can be a temporary issue in our services. In that case please try it again in a few hours. Can you help please? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, yes I have set pagination on, however I was talking about each single posts, I was not clear about my question. So my question was: Can single post be navigated by “previous” “next” arrows/buttons?

Hello, we are using Hazel for 2nd year in a row now and loving the minimalistic and elegant look it offers. We have however just discovered a small glitch. We are using the blog featured image size 1100×619px as instructed by your team. However when using the Latest Post element, and then selecting ‘image in the left box’ type, the images get cropped on sides. This makes some of them look very ugly as some has for example cut our logo in a corner in half. Is there an image size that would fit all elements in Hazel – or can you fix this thumbnail glitch in your next update? All the best in 2021, EAI team

Hello, I have two licenses. My theme is updated to 4.3, but they are calling for Layer Slider and WPBakery Page Builder updates – when I try to update they require licenses. Why didn’t those update on the 4.3 update? Or can you send out links to update those 2 plugins in the mean time? Please advise, thanks!

I am using the Hazel theme but since few month I’ve go pb with it. Here the warning I have : /wp-content/themes/hazel/js/admin/default.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated and the LayerSlider Wp used in it is not up to date.
Is there an update of the hazel theme coming soon ? How can I have the latest update for LayerSlider used in the Hazel theme ?
