I see a couple of other people asking similar questions, but I’d like to put a few together into one. I think that answer will be “no” but here we go:
I’m interested in self-hosting a podcast. I really like the template, however, it doesn’t appear to support a podcast RSS feed that I can submit to Spotify, Apple, etc. It appears that I might have to download an additional plugin like Blubrry or Really Simple Podcasts to manage the RSS feed.
Is that the case, or does your template have integrated podcast RSS management out of the box?
I know that I can customize the WordPress RSS feeds, but for over $70, I would prefer not to spend so much on a template I know I will have to customize extensively to do this.

Such an option, unfortunately, does not exist within the theme. You can try to achieve this with some 3rd party plugin, however, we haven’t tested such plugins with the theme and we cannot give you an exact recommendation.

Nice looking site – I’ve tried everything to change the logo on my homepage and still stuck. Also on the “about” page there’s a background image I can’t change or remove – all the options are for background, I can set a new image but it just appears behind the weird demo one that I can’t access. www.bookbanter.net

Hi there. We are well on our way to purchasing the theme for our upcoming project and it seems absolutely perfect!
My question is basically that I will be adding alot of custom fields to the single podcast page, and my question is whether I can add all the existing elements on the demo single podcast page to this custom page. Specifically for example the “Parts” section that allows a listener to jump to specific parts of a podcast episode. Can I add this to the custom page with a shortcode or something? The documentation is not as comprehensive regarding shortcodes so I’m not sure whether this is available.

However, only self hosted audios can be added on Single Resonator Podcast posts ( https://prnt.sc/10pu76v ). Single Resonator Podcast posts use Elementor so elements available with the theme can be added on these post types too.
You can use embed code to add external audios like on the Podcast Stream home – https://resonator.qodeinteractive.com/podcast-stream/ . This goes for audio players who allow to be embedded ( https://prnt.sc/10pttkz ), so if anchor.fm allows player to be embed, then it can be done like on this homepage. From their documentation we can see that there is a way to embed simplecast.com players https://help.simplecast.com/en/articles/2692209-how-to-embed-your-podcast-and-episodes
The podcast list (like here – https://prnt.sc/11ioedg) will list Single Resonator Podcast posts.
There is also a Spotify embedded playlist on the Left Menu Home page https://resonator.qodeinteractive.com/left-menu-home/ . This is added with the Audio Playlist element by adding playlist link ( https://prnt.sc/10ptlbt ).
You can add content to any on the single podcast pages, such the text that you can see on the single podcast page “About this Podcast”
The Parts section is within our single podcast and can be accessed from our themes options within that single page as you can see here.

Regarding the “Parts” question, I understand it is part of the Single Podcast page, but seeing as I will need to create a new Elementor template page to replace the existing Single Podcast page in order to include advanced custom fields for the user to add additional info to a podcast episode, my question is whether I can pull the “Parts” interface to this new template page. We will still be using the podcasts functionality as per your screenshot of the backend to upload everything, but we wish to extend the amount of info we can add with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) as there is a ton of info per podcast episode that will not work if we only have a single rich text editor field to add everything in. I hope this makes sense. For example, one can embed the audio player to a template page, but I don’t see that this is the case with the “Parts” functionality/layout?

No problem. The Single podcast page is an already predefined page where you have our themes options to enter different informations, and within the field of the text which we mentioned in the above response you can add different content.
So this would be possible if you intend to edit the themes files for Single podcast page.

Does the template offer the possibility to create a podcast RSS feed (see here for the requirements: https://podcasters.apple.com/support/823-podcast-requirements) that can be downloaded from Apple Music, Spotify, ... can be used?
It wouldn’t be so nice if you have to install another plugin (like Seriously Simple Podcasting) for that.

We haven’t tested the theme with this plugin and cannot guarantee it’s compatibility, however you can try to test it on your installation since the theme is compatible with WooCommerce.
Contact forms in the demo are created with Contact Form 7 plugin and there is a subscribe form on this homepage. You can adjust this contact form and also use it on other pages/sections. If you perhaps plan on using Mailchimp, then you can integrate it with Contact Form 7 with this plugin.

It’s really very unclear how a Podcast is displayed, and all the documentation prior to the help center seems purposely vague. Even looking here:https://resonator.qodeinteractive.com/documentation/#1_clients, it’s difficult to find proper information.
So, can you clarify, how are Podcasts embedded in the theme? Can you embed feeds from services like Podbean, BuzzSprout, Lyb… etc. Or is the theme solely built for self hosting (where you distribute yourself)?
On the demo there is section there is a section that says “Embed Podcasts form your favorite Platforms” which shows audio distribution channels but not solely Podcasting services. The “View More” button show a link that has nothing to do with platforms.
Some clarity would be appreciated.

From the documentation it’s not clear to me if there is a way to use your beautiful player without hosting the mp3 filess on my website.
If I don’t want to upload any kind of mp3 file, am I forced to use the default player that anchor (or spotify) provide me?

I have bought this theme, but I can’t sync it with Libsyn. I need the categories, seasons and episodes to be uploaded automatically, and to be with the same structure and design made by Resonator. But when I use the Libsyn published Hub, I can only upload the apisode with its categories and seasons with another design of wordpress, but not Resonator, is like it doesn’t have an integration. Can you help me with this? Because I send a email for a long time, and didn’t have a reply. Thank you!

Hi, there thank you very much for this theme we have some questions with regards to the podcast element:
1. The podcast platforms we use are Google Podcasts and sounder.fm Is this theme compatible with them for us to include the players from those site in the same style as it is in the demo.
2.We like the full screen and podcast stream layouts So we would want the first section to be fullscreen Then the rest of the page follow the stream layout. So is it possible to have the audio player in one of the sliders (latest episode) But then no players in the following sliders just buttons linking to other parts of the site. eg ABout us Contact us

1. Default podcast player showcased in the theme can be used for self-hosted podcasts (podcasts uploaded in the WP Media Library). To add podcasts from 3rd party platforms you can embed them if the platform offers that option, please check this link.
2. The Fullscreen Slider homepage is created using the Slider Revolution plugin which is included as bundled plugin with the theme and it can be adjusted to your needs (each slider individually as shown in screenshot) and you can also add content below the slider using the Elementor page builder.
3. Once you import our demo content you will get all the pages and settings which you can adjust to your needs and you can combine sections from different homepages using the Elementor page builder. The audio player section is overlapping slider due to the negative top margin as you can see in screenshot and this can be adjusted to some other value to suit your needs.
