Hi there! On some pages I use the TABS element. How is it possible to link to the third tab for example in a ? When I use tab-ID it always open first tab.

can video on background have sound?
Hey dimage, A video background can not enable sound by default. I would recommend using the “Self hosted video” player inside of a row set to “full width content”. Alternatively you could place a Video Lightbox element within the row to trigger the full video with sound.

The autoplay functionality uses the mute attribute since various browsers will prevent the autoplaying of videos that don’t have that enabled. Hi,
Just found with the latest Theme version and WooCommerce I cannot add new items to cart. I have tested with Twenty-Twenty-Two theme and works until I re-activate Salient.
Is there a setting I’ve missed to enable this to work? I get this issue with “AJAX Product Template Add to Cart” turned on and off and all other plugins are deactivated.

I hope you’re well. Please take a look at the Google search result at the URL below. For some reason the result includes the following text: “Hit enter to search or ESC to close. Close Search. joy.net. Menu. No menu assigned. Menu. [...] © 2022 joy.net. Close Menu.” This is for the page at www.joy.net. I’ve been working with Salient settings to stop this but to no avail. If your supplied meta description is too short, Google will attempt to use the page content as well. Since you have an empty page, the only text available to grab is from the header navigation. I would suggest increasing the length of your meta description text so that it may be used exclusively while you keep that blank page active.

Hello, after updating the theme, now my footer settings don’t work and the scroll to top button doesn’t show properly. The footer font is larger than before, the custom footer color is not working and the scroll to top button stretches across the entire bottom of the screen instead of being a button. The theme doesn’t seem to be responding to the changes in the Salient Footer options. I don’t use the footer widget, just one line of text on the bottom. Can I make the footer font smaller, and ensure the custom footer color settings are working, and restore the scroll to top button to being a button instead of stretching across the bottom of the screen? Is there any way to fix this? I only had this issue after updating the theme. I greatly appreciate your help.
Hey SP1000, Do you have a child theme active with template overrides relating to the footer? If so, those will need to be updated in order to reflect the current parent theme. If you’re not using a child theme or that doesn’t apply to you, please share the URL in regards so that I can take a look to help out.

Hello, thank you so much for your reply. I checked again, and the footer and scroll to top button are actually working fine on my published website pages, which is a relief. The formatting issues only show up on my page previews. I’m not sure why that is. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

The formatting seems to be different in my page previews. Here is the way it is showing in my page previews: https://ibb.co/hKFQBys The footer color and font size are different, and the scroll to top button is stretched across the bottom of the screen (circled at the bottom).
Also, the formatting on some of the page previews shifts the entire page all the way to the left, to where some of the content is completely off screen. This only happens in the preview pages.
When I publish, it looks good. However, it would be nice to be able to see the page formatting correctly from my page preview. Any suggestions? I greatly appreciate your help.

But now I want to change the border radius for two specific inner rows/columns. Here is a screenshot: https://ibb.co/hshL2Gw where I highlighted the corners I do not want to have a border (border-radius:0px). Would that be possible? And if so, how do I manage that?

You’ll need to give the rows a classname so that they can be targeted, for example “no-border-radius-top”, “no-border-radius-bottom”. Then you can use the following rules:
.wpb_row.no-border-radius-top {
border-radius: 0 0 15px 15px!important;
}
.wpb_row.no-border-radius-bottom {
border-radius: 15px 15px 0 0!important;
}

Hey, You can supply as many class names as needed, just ensure that they’re separated with spaces. I.e.

The CSS is active and valid, but it seems that you have also set a BG color in the parent column to your inner row of the same color – at least in the parent column of “Huib Maaskant”. This is making it so the border radius set on the child row is not visible at all.

Hey Team nectar, it seems there is a conflict between woocommerce and the first (hero) row (header). Especially after I instaled the demo content. The Header doesn’t display the splitted headline or rotating text. Even I replaced it throgh another row, the problem is still there but then the background image dispaears. after i deactive woocommerce it changed to be normal.
I tried again just installing Salient and WooCommerce. After I added the “Rotating Text Hero Section” the text no longer appears. After I disabled Woocmerce it changed to normal. Can you please provide a bug fix update as soon as possible. Otherwise it is not possible to work with the Theme on WooCommerce. Thanks very much!

Hey haoe, that’s occurring due to the lazy loading active in your setup. You’ll need to exclude the client carousel section from that in order to have it load correctly. Alternatively, CSS could be used to set a minimum height on that element.

Hey Stefanmle, that error would occur when using a current version of PHP (v8) along with an outdated version of the theme / Salient WPBakery Page Builder plugin.
