Actually, there is only one option in the theme for this simply edit the category you want and then set the icon class as you can see in the image: i.is.cc/cpdFnnr.png once you set the icon to save settings and then edit a page you want and add the Porto product categories widget and then from the settings of this widget set the media type to the icon as you can see in the image: i.is.cc/cpk0jSB.png by doing this the category will appear on the page with icon. But it is not for the product archive page because you cannot edit the archive page. Hi, After upgrade to the last version there is a very weird behavior at custom taxonomies,meaning to some of them there are sidebars and to others “content top” from one of the blocks … actually, I don’t remember, but I think that you had the option to set indivintually for posts, taxonomies etc settings for sidebar, content top, content inner top etc?

Please check this screenshot https://postimg.cc/bGmFdkBH in previous versions blocks are custom post types so they got all the features same as blog posts or pages in porto has. But in latest version our developers revise the actual cause of these custom post types e.g. Blocks they actually used to show content on different parts of pages, products and posts like in inner top, top content or in sidebars. So there is no mean to assign blocks that option to setup their inner content and sidebars because it conflict with pages and cause a mess in layouts sometimes. So in latest porto versions blocks has no these options available.

you think that you fixed something and you break all the woocomerce filter plugings!!!! if the condition at page layouts for i.e. content top, has 2 or more entries and the filters meet them,then the same block appearing more than once! And of course this not a support problem, when you made so massive changes!!!! for us, it was working perfect before you use “page layout” ... is there a way to activate previous functionality?
Also, I think that after the last upgrade you didn’t remove previous settings .. so now, without any entry at page layouts, in some taxonomies there are blocks in content top, that he have set before in previous version!

Actually, there is no way to activate previous functionality except you install the previous versions of the theme. But the options of “Content Top, Content Bottom” are very useful but in this case, you are right also that content top has 2 more entries and the filters meet them then the block will appear twice but if you change the name of the filter or the block then they do not appear twice if you change the name and content. Why you will use the same content in the block and in the filter? so there are a lot of ways to use the functionality. No theme will be available that suits your requirements 110% you have to adjust your requirement. I hope it makes sense to you.

Could you please count how many times we asked from you supporting?1-2 (once for a bug after you changed the block management)? And this time you changed something fundamental that we used for several versions and you didn’t not clean the previous data! meaning, that wout any entry in page layouts, in some taxonimies there are blocks in content top from previous!! that is a bug … where are you storing these data in order to clean them?
I also duplicated block, in order each taxonomy to have diff bloks, but still if the archive filter meet the conditons of page layouts, we have multiple blocks … I can’t see how this is helping and do not break everything!

Hi Porto Team, I read you mentioned 8 days ago you are working on a new update, will that also include the WPBakery Page Builder v6.9.0 update as well as this has been out since 07.04.2022 around 14 days ago. I have quite a few websites running Porto theme so it gets a bit unnerving to see so many sites with unupdated plugins. Luckily it wasn’t a security release. Do you have a date that the updated version will be released?

By default my web shop page is this: https://www.candleart.es/tienda/. There are only the 5 main cathegories.
It is possible to add all the categories and subgategories I have like in my home page: https://www.candleart.es/. As you can see 12 categories / subgategories in total.
Maybe entering in the shop page the following: [product_categories ids=”19,38,20,18,24,17,21,27,26,25,16,37”] additionally to the 5th main categories existing by default. Or there is any other option?

I. Make sure you have everything up to date (Theme, Plugins, Translations files)
II. Remember to reset ALL cache etc after a plugin or theme update.
III. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and recheck if the issue persists
IV. Check the browser dev console on errors (F12, on most if not all browsers)
V. Double-check your own Custom CSS, or Custom Snippets in function.php is causing it
VI. If you have setup the Porto Speed Optimization Wizard, then please reset it and set all the options to default, uncheck all the options and save changes/compile and check back your site after removing the cache of the browser.
VII. Can you please check once by activating the WP default Theme Twenty Twenty, If the issue will still presist with default WP Theme then it will make clear that the issue is not from Porto WordPress Theme and then you have to contact the WP and WooCommerce support for fixing it with the default WP Theme and once it will fix with the default WP Theme, It will automatically work with Porto WordPress Theme as well.Regards, P-THEMES.

I see, I think you are using the demo in which we have made the page title bar using block, so in that case, you have to go to Porto >> Template Builder >> Blocks and finds the particular block and delete it so it will not appear on your site.
