Hi there, First, I’d like to express that I’m a big fan of your work and I feel that Fuse has thought me a lot on how to do things right, with extreme attention to design details and structure of code. It is truly a remarkable theme, possibly the best I’ve ever purchased, hats off. With that said, I wanted to give you a few inputs on V8, as a developer who’s working on a project with v7.2 at the last few months:
1. If you write the theme from scratch, replacing something great with something great, requiring a fresh install migration start-point, to end up with a completely different graphic design look & feel, you better launch it as a another theme, which I would probably purchase separately and use for another project.
I love some of the previous designs that are simply not there anymore, why should I replace the blueish login page with something else if I want to keep my theme updated? (u can see it on pemz.com).
2. The last time I felt some Fuse “fatigue” in terms of unnecessary deep migrations was when you’ve upgraded to MUI and added CRACO, for no functional reason/feature. This time I’m planing to stay with 7.2 because 8 is not the theme I chose for this project. But it’s sad that I won’t have the option to get it updated without migration to a whole other code base and design feel.
3. V8 RTL’s is buggy (some other features may be as well), so even in terms of maturity, v7.2 has reached stability that’s been now cut off and discontinued by “upgrading” to a whole different code base, brilliant as it is, it’s not a linear upgrade anymore.
I realize that my inputs comes too late to change that, but perhaps it’ll provide a DX POV that’ll be helpful in the future. Tough love. Respect

Thanks for your kind words, we are glad that you like our product.
We love our previous design but we also have to catch up new design trends, latest dependency updates etc.
People tends to forget about that this is a business. As all businesses, you have to evolve and change if you want to stay in the market.
Of course there are a lot of benefits of the new version, it has a new design but not so much different from the previous one in terms of directory structure etc.
You can match the previous login page design, it needs minor css stylings, if you can’t, open support ticket, i will happily try to help.
I didn’t encounter any issues with RTL’s, honestly there are no major changes for it, please open support ticket to inform us.

Thanks for your reply. As a developer who’s enjoyed one of your themes, I’d surly pay for another and mix between them myself if it was indeed another theme. For this theme, I’d expect to have upgrades of dependencies, and maybe some new optional design settings, but an existing theme doesn’t need to catch up with new trends as early as they arrive to the market, or at all. Your next theme does, it needs to show previous happy customers that your next product is even better. But you don’t need to push this to the existing product. I think you’d make more revenue this way, and existing theme users calmer. It’s your call at the end of the day. Keep up the good work and cheers. Eldad
All based on my personal thoughts and feelings of course, there’s probably no definitive protocol that’d prove it as a right or wrong decision. I hope i didn’t sound to blunt.
Regarding RTL, on the demo site the RTL switch doesn’t change the direction until you change a higher page layout state, and then the sidebar seem buggy on layout-3/folded if i recall. When installing dependencies on a local copy, you get a warning that Tailwind CSS RTL features are still in preview. Don’t remember seeing it in previous versions and am not sure if it’s related. Just fyi.
If you change the language, the RTL should be changed automatically, i ll checkout what’s wrong. The tailwindcss error not a big deal. We were using third party tailwindcss rtl plugin, with the latest releases they have included this feature in tailwindcss and works without problem.

It’s really sad that I can’t upgrade from previous version since i messed up with many pages already and added typescript to the project. But it is also great the same time that this new version 8 shipped with react 18 and have a new look. I wonder why fuse doesn’t add typescript in this new version when they re-wrote the entire template from scratch.

Hi, its not an easy process to migrate, we don’t want to leave webpack and create-react-app for common use, so vitejs won’t be default generator for fuse-react.

- How to redirect a user to 404 if that user with visit the a different role route?
eg: A cashier role user visit a stock role route. The current result is a blank page without redirect to 404.

Hi, At calendar, If you input many item (greater than 9 items) with schedule of items greater than 2 days, after you click more item then some items can’t show. If you use zoom in, zoom out then sometimes full items show. Can you support for this problem? Thank you very much!

I cannot reproduce the issue on the demo, we are using FullCalendar React as dependency. We do not making anything special on the library that cause the issue. Checkout their docs: https://fullcalendar.io/docs/react

I’m having a problem about the focus state of input, select or any form components will change label and border to primary color. it will make it invisible if the background is the primary color like image below. Is there anyway to change this behavior on theme setting in this template?

You can use secondary color for the inputs which is on primary bg color. There is no alternative behaviour that i can suggest.
