Enfold is backwards compatible with WP so I am guessing it could be related to your PHP version but we would need to inspect your site to find out what exactly is causing the issue

Hi, I have the problem that my API key for GoogleMaps, which I use for many other projects, are not accepted. I create a new API key without success. I disabled all plugins also the same error. Is there anything else I can do?

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Enfold, 4.8.2. In the latest version we have added OpenStreetMaps element so you could give it a try as well – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/openstreetmaps-leaflet-maps/. It is open source so you do not need to register or insert a key.

Hello we really hope you can come up with some fix or background options in your admin control panel that will fix this issue
we read a lot of complains about the logo size change capabilities, especially the logo height in the sticky mode, it's really popular issue as we see here..we really wanna purchase some licenses, but for now we can’t afford to stack on logo height issues.. your theme is really really good, the demos are beautiful and quite speedy, we just hope to see the logo issues get fixed

Logo size adapts to header size and header size can be changed in Enfold theme options > Header > Header Size. You can define a custom height there as well.
When using a shrinking header, header size will be the half of initial size. So if you choose 100px as custom height, shrinked size will be 50px. Would you like to have an option to change that, such as dividing initial size by 1.5 instead of default 2? If that is what you meant, I could check with our devs and see if that would be possible. We also have customizations available for that

When I install the new theme 4.8.2 my site stope working and a WordPress error is display.
If I roll back to my previous version 4.7.6.4 it works fine (All plugins and WP is up to date, are there any issue, minimum PHP requirements etc?)

Hello, I use the fantastic hotspot feature. But I have one question. When I show the page on Mobil, then the content of the spots (text and pictures) are showed below the picture a list. Is it possible there are not shown a list under the picture, only the spots on the picture?

Your theme breaks The Events Calendar PRO’s “edit event in series” link. The Events Calendar adds three sub-items to “Edit Event” in the admin bar, for events that are part of a series. TEC does this by looking into wp_before_admin_bar_render. The Enfold theme breaks this because on line 204 of enfold/config-gutenberg/class-avia-gutenberg.php you hook into admin_bar_menu with a function called handler_wp_admin_bar_menu. This function recreates the Edit item (rather than simply changing the label), thus losing the three sub-items that were added by TEC. Can you please fix your coding to resolve this bug?

You have broken this again in the latest version of Enfold.
My brute force fix for our website was to comment out the entire function that modifies the admin bar. I commented out line 219 of file “enfold/config-gutenberg.php” which is:
add_action( ‘admin_bar_menu’, array( $this, ‘handler_wp_admin_bar_menu’ ), 999, 1 )
.
Can you please fix this in a future version? Modify the bar if you need to, but don’t remove it and regenerate it because you then remove modifications from other plugins. Plus, nobody cares if the labels changes to “Classic Editor” or “Advanced Layout Builder” so it’s a waste of code. In any case, please fix the error that breaks The Events Calendar.
This is STILL BROKEN (now in theme version 4.9.2.3).
Again I commented out line 219 of enfold/config-gutenberg/class-avia-gutenberg.php
Why do you not fix this problem? We aren’t the only website using Enfold and also recurring events from The Events Calendar.
Hi, I just install theme in a site for a customer with a shop working on it (I changed theme to Enfold one). Shop has products with some image variations. When I clic on a variation, image doesn’t change in product gallery. Pictures are uploaded to product variation, but theme don’t do that (site was working with another theme before and was working fine). Any idea how to fix that, please???

Unfortunately, IOS does not support autoplay of videos. Autoplay attribute is ignored by the browser therefore I am afraid that is not possible.

If you are using an older version than 4.5, you would need to update the theme manually first – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and then insert Personal Token for future updates.

Please tell me how to fix this please.
Theme is current using version 4.8.1 wordpress 5.7.1
after looking for the past 24 hours the problem is in the wp-content/themes/enfold/config-template-builder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow/slideshow-video.js?ver=5:7:779
There are now 9 errors. All I did was updated the theme to the newest version and updated WP to the newest version as well.
These errors are causing my site to load slow and are just creating a mess of things.

Please go to Enfold theme options > Performance and disable “JS file merging and compression”, save theme options and clear cache. That should help.

Why are all submenus open in the burger menu mobile view? Even if you set open after click. They close when you clicked on the symbol and open again the second time. Is it totally illogical ?!

You can simply go to Enfold theme options > Main Menu > Burger/Mobile menu > Menu Icon Submenu items and choose to display them on click. They would only be open if you choose “Always display submenu items” options.
