having some trouble with shop behavior when adding item to cart. All is fine on the page, then when I add item to cart and the page refreshes with the “product name” has been added to your cart.” message, the Related Products being displayed at the bottom of the page adopt the current product’s lead image. Wondering if it’s an Ajax issue. Help greatly appreciated

By default, the description is displayed before categories. Perhaps you have some modifications in the theme to change its’ position on the shop page. When you update the theme, these modifications will be reset.
You should use a child theme to edit the theme, so you won’t lose your code during updates. You can check this document for more details:

Thank you for your feedback. The filter widget of theme uses default functions from WooCommerce, so it does support this lookup table.

Regarding the filtering, it seems to ignore the variation’s stock. We are testing on a clean installation with the latest WC, php 7.4 and the latest version of Sober.
On your live demo, the Guide Pack Cap has stock availability for all variations. Try with 0 stock on a specific variation and the filtering will still show the product, regardless of the selected filters.

Unfortunately, this theme doesn’t support the boxed layout fully. You can use custom CSS to archive it, but it may not completely work with the stretch options of page builder plugins.

Yes, it is a requirement of WooCommerce. When a variation is selected, the first image will be updated to match with the selection.

There is a buggy behaviour when it comes to product archive page and infinite loading or using the “load more” button.
Say the user is browsing products and reaches page 5: https://demo.uix.store/sober/shop/page/5/ If this url is shared, then that link with only show products of page 5 without all the others. The page bar will still show “61 products.
The same issue will also happen if the visitor just reloads the page.
The problem is even more pronounced when the products are set to open as a new page and not as a pop-up. In that case, when the client hits the back button, only the specific page will be shown and all the products of the previous ones are hidden.
This is very problematic since the only option left is using the pagination option for product archives.
How can this be fixed?

Thank you very much for your feedback. Actually, it is a limitation of the infinite scrolling (and ajax pagination). With WordPress (and WooCommerce), if we load all previous products on refresh, it will be a heavy query to the web-server. It may slow down your website pretty much in some case. Currently, we have no solution for this. We will try to improve it in future updates.

As we checked, your product images have the same dimension. But the object inside is not equal. You should prepare your products images before uploading to your website. We can’t handle it from the theme.

The problem is that if the product name is longer or shorter the height of the box is not the same and they don’t line up right.

If you want to align product name and price on the same line, you can try this CSS to fixed the height of product name to 2 lines. So if the product name is longer than 2 lines, it will show ”...”.
