Hi, I’m interested in this theme. Can you please confirm if it has been built using WPBakery or Elementor? I appreciate it is “Elementor compatible” but presumably if we want to work exclusively with Elementor we’d still need to re-do most of the WPBakery elements to be fully built with Elementor?

Theme is compatible with both WPBakery and Elementor page builder and once you install the theme you will have an option to import either WPBakery or Elementor demo content (please see screenshot). If you import Elementor demo content then you will be able to edit it using Elementor page builder.

Hello support , i have update plugins and theme and then the whole site crash: Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function playerx_core_is_theme_registered() in /home/httpd/vhosts/—-—.info/-—-—-—.ch/wp-content/themes/playerx/framework/modules/blog/shortcodes/shortcodes-functions.php:5 Stack trace: #0 /home/httpd/vhosts/-—-—-—-.info/—-—-.ch/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(307): playerx_edge_include_blog_shortcodes(’’) #1 etc #12 total. why this craash? and what is the php version? 7.4 / 8.0 etc? can you help in this case?

To update theme and bundled plugins we recommend following instructions from this article – How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins and we also recommend updating via FTP. After you update theme all of the bundled plugins with available update should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.
The theme should work correctly on PHP7.4 and also PHP8.0.

Hi, I just purchased the theme and I want to let you know that: 1. The PlayerX theme option doesn’t appear on your support system, hence I can’t open an official support ticket on your system. Can you please make sure that you provide this option on your support or let me know if I am missing something? 2. I can’t figure a way to import the Parallax Home page configuration. Thanks for taking an interest! Once you submit a request you do need to select Theme profile (Edge themes) theme (PlayerX) and your purchase code.
This way it will appear from the dropdown menu.

Hey I just want to let you all know that the Playerx Core plugin caused my site to crash after the theme updates to 2.1 because it didn’t update before the theme updated.
I had to manually recover my website and then manually upload the theme and disable the Playerx Core plugin. After that I was able to run the updater before re-enabling the playerx core plugin.

Usually demo import issues are related to weak resources and you can see our recommendations regarding those in this article Recommended PHP Versions And Resources And How To Set Them. Also, if you are perhaps using some cache plugin, please deactivate it. It’s recommended that cache plugin stays deactivated during demo import and while the site is still in the development stage.
On the off chance that you’ve waited for a while and the demo import didn’t finish properly, you can try importing via XML import.
When import finishes at 98% it usually means that only sliders haven’t been imported and you can import those manually by following instructions from this article.

Hello, I love your template but having trouble with it.. 1. I get the following error: “Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.”. However when I talk to my host (GoDaddy) they say MySQL is not supported (for a few versions now), instead I have php 7.4 which uses MySQL-i. Can you please advise? 2. I am going crazy trying to find where the text at the top can be changed, “This is playerx, a theme for …” 3. When I try to import the demo contents, it gets stuck on 98%. Every time I try, it seems to create a duplicate set of menus. Pls help?

I have my Item Purchase Code but in the Wordpress Dashboard i got everytime this Message:
Your copy of the theme has not been activated. Please navigate to Playerx Dashboard where you can input your purchase code and activate your copy of the theme so you can have access to all the theme features, elements & options.
I Reactivated the Theme and i get positiv Feedback but directly after reload the PAge or relog the Message comes again…
Pls dont let me Pay again so much just because i got a old License.

Thanks for writing in! First of all, we do recommend all to import the demo on a clean installation. You can for sure import it over your existing content, however, then we would recommend you to always make a backup of your existing content as it might happen that your content will get overwritten sometimes. Also, as our demo content is made with page builder we cannot guaranty that your previous content is made with the same builder, so you will probably have to adjust your existing content to suit our themes demo content.

Love the theme but there is a visible vertical gap in between the rectangle and the triangle that gives the buttons their shape. Is there any way to remedy this without me having to edit the CSS and theme files? Thanks!
