I am not sure what you mean by “linking videos and podcasts”. These types of media are usually embedded into the content by using the Custom HTML block in the WordPress editor. The theme recognizes audio and video and automatically places it in the built-in sticky player. Of course, you have the option to turn of this feature and let the embedded media be displayed in the content.

I created a post and put a YouTube video in it. On the home page, if I click the Play button, I just get a loading screen at the bottom of my webpage, and the video never pops up. I am asking how can I get that to work? Am I embedding the video incorrcectly?

I really like the way this theme looks. I know you all have the vlog theme for video content, but I dislike the look of it. I love this theme. Can I have it play videos instead of podcasts. I have no need for audio clips….only video. Can I make this fully for YouTube videos instead?

Roogan is primarily a podcasting theme but yes, it can be used for video only. Still, it doesn’t provide special video layouts and features that Vlog does. Our themes should work fine alongside any official WordPress plugin. What kind of compatibility are you looking for? As for the subscribe feature, the homepage has a dedicated section that you can customise according to your needs.
We suggest you create a free test website and try out the features – go to the demo website https://demo.mekshq.com/?theme=roogan and click the green “Try it for free” button on top. Once you receive the credentials reply with your test website URL and let us know which plugins you would like to try out, since test-drive users are not allowed to install plugins, due to security restrictions.

1. We can only install plugins from the WordPress plugin repository. It seems that the Membership plugin is a premium plugin, and we can’t install it without a valid license. Do you own a license? 2. Those are compatibility requirements, and what you need is the information about licensing – do the wordpress.org domain and hosting include a WooCommerce license. As far as our theme is considered, it should work fine with any standard WordPress plugin, as I’ve mentioned earlier.
Since Elementor has a free version available, we can install that on your test drive website, if you wish.

It should work fine, but it’s best if you try it our yourself just to be sure. Go to the demo page and create a test drive website by clicking on the green “Try it for free” button: https://demo.mekshq.com/?theme=roogan
Once you create the website you’ll receive an email with the URL and login credentials. Simply reply to that email so we receive your test drive URL and we’ll install the PowerPress plugin for you, since test drive users are not allowed to install plugins due to security reasons.

Honestly guys, I really wanted to test the demo but the options panel kept opening and changing browser width, where everything was. Just annoying and left.

I’m interested on buying your theme…. is it ready for essential schema and seo? or do I have to buy/get more plugins? which pagebuilder is used? do I have to buy an extra license for that? often there are pagebuilders in the package but they won’t get updated. if so, maybe once a year or less.

We do our best to make our themes SEO ready, but any additional functionality needs to be added with plugins. We don’t use or bundle page builders in our themes. Of course you can use a page builder of your choice alongside our theme, just as you would any other plugin.

Hi, when i use the lightbox feature of elementor the roogan header is overlapping the close button of the lightbox. Maybe it has a higher Z index than the light box?
