Don’t worry about that.
You can delete the theme and install the Elementor version of the theme normally.
After installing new Elementor version, you should import demo data again to get the demo pages of elementor.
You can not edit the demo page of WP Bakery via Elementor.

I really like this theme although I’m really curious about how well it has been rebuilt and integrated with Elementor.
I hate Visual Composer and I know that there are a LOT of themes that were first built with VC and then converted to Elementor.
The problem is that some developers did it properly and some did it like ‘really’ f’d up.
For example, the widgets don’t have settings as they should for styling and you’re screwing with CSS and all kinds of other BS such as headers and footers not being implemented very well. For example. have the headers and footers been implemented using Elementor’s Theme builder or do they have their own CPT?

Our theme is provided 2 versions (WP Bakery and Elementor) that you can select to use for your site if you want.
If you use Elememtor version, you can build your own header and footer layout with it normal.
