Best theme what i found on themeforest. Unfortunatelly i cant use it. On staging site almost everything is perfect but when i activate it on my live site, i found some problems. 1. I’m connecting to flixmedia which is giving me information about the products. Normally this plugin overwrite product description, but on porto i cant use it. 2. There is a bug with products. If i click “A” product, the product link is “B” product. I cleared cache, but i found this problem with other browsers as well. 3. If i choose a product layout in product options, sometimes i see a different layout like if i create it in layout builder. Im very sad that i cannot use it. Lot of possibilities in the theme.

First of all, the filter you have to use from Appearance >> Widgets, and there you will find the Yith WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter Widget and you have to use it in sidebar as per your requirements.
Now, under Appearance >> Widgets there is the sidebar named as “Woo Category Sidebar”, that sidebar actually works/appears on Shop/Category/Sub-Category pages by default.
So if you want to use different sidebars on different pages then you have to create a new sidebar from Appearance >> Sidebar and that sidebar will appear under Appearance >> Widgets, then you can add filter in the particular sidebar as per your requirement.
And finally you have to go to Products >> Categories and edit the particular Category/Sub-Category and choose the sidebar from page option, it will only appear on that page.
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is expired from 01/12/2018. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

The compare feature does not seem to work. Latest version of the theme (new installation), loaded with Shop 1 demo and page content wrapper of boxed. Choosing two items for comparison and triggering the compare window opens, but is blank, without any data.

How can I import the menu of a demo?

Unfortunately, there is no such way/option to import only menu from specific demos, you have to import the particular Demo for importing the particular menu, so you can achieve it using a trick: you can Install the theme on local/test site and then import the demo from which you want the Menu, then you can copy the Menu from your local/test site to your main site. This is the only possible way.

I am working with a young lady that I think might have been swindled by another individual. Her website, not live yet, has the Porto theme in use, but when I have tried to update it, it gives me an error saying its an illegal copy. Now, we have no issue in buying it, if we can get the one issue/question resolved.
The template meets nearly all her needs and can be usable for her, but the one thing I am not able to figure out is the following:
On the theme, there is a small box at the top right that is 4 lines and when you click on it, it shows the menu of her pages. I need to be able to remove this box and all menus for that matter from the header of the pages. She does not want any menus up there. Is there a way to remove those menus?

We are willing to buy the template, but only if the one item we are trying to remove can be. I don’t want her to purchase this if the change can’t be done. That would be a waste of money for her.
I’m just trying to see if it’s possible and if it is then will move forward to pay for the theme and get her going.

Thank you so much, I did find the option in there. I am talking with her to make sure she wants to continue to use this template and if yes, will get it bought. One last question, I know with the regular order you get 6 months of support or you can pay extra for 12 months. If we only do the standard order and 6 months support, will she still be able to update the template itself, beyond that 6 month period, if there are updates put out for it.
I am not sure on how that works over on these themes from here. My personal themes are bought from another group on a lifetime plan. I just want to make sure, 1 if she moves forward, you get your money and 2 that at least she will continue to get theme updates beyond that period.

Actually for the Shop/Category pages we have 3 pre built Cart Type Notifications and you can choose it as per your requirements, from Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Product Archives: https://postimg.cc/PPvTrm9z as per your requirements.
OR if you want to redirect the customer directly on cart page when adding to the cart on Shop/Caegory pages then you have to go to WooCommerce >> Settings >> Products and choose the option: “Redirect to the cart page after successful addition” as showing in this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/v1qNVK61

The question is more or less around, how does one control or show custom fields in the Porto Theme on the product posts/pages?
I did install Advanced Custom Fields, I also did look at the elementor’s documentation on this subject. Do we absolutely need to pay for Elementor Premium to leverage ACF in the Porto Theme? Isn’t there another simple way that we can control our Product Pages to show fields from ACF without relying on Elementor?
Additionally, the documentation surrounding how we can control or modify custom product layouts is dated and does not contain a lot of information.
