I can not check my site speed in gtmetrix, pagespeed.web.dev and other speed teaser site. They show Lighthouse Error. I can not understand about Lighthouse Error.
My site is https://sinin.com.bd/ Please check my site and help me to solve this problem. Thank for your support.
Hello, @sinin,
Please read more about the error on this page: https://gtmetrix.com/blog/gtmetrix-lighthouse-errors/ and try to contact your hosting provider on this issue.
currently I can define the colour swatch for the product colour attribute, is there any way that I can use/show those actual swatches (not the hex colour) onto the product archive page for filtering
Hello, @themeforest666,
You have to go to WP-Dashboard >> Products >> Attributes and create the Color attributes from there and set the color for each of the attributes.
Then you have to assign those attributes to your site products.
And finally, you have to use the “Filter Product By Attribute” under Appearance >> Widgets >> Woo Category Sidebar and it will work for you.
Please see these screenshots: https://postimg.cc/NLW79KGL https://postimg.cc/GB5TWfH9
that is still a hex colour isn’t it?
thanks as mentioned above can I use image type swatches attribute rather than hex colour swatch to filter
thanks, may I ask if this plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-variation-swatches/) works with porto.
Hello, @themeforest666,
No need to use this plugin, that swatches functionality for the single product and shop archive pages is the default of the theme: https://jmp.sh/Fd7K6ti please watch this video.
the link doesn’t work
Hello, @themeforest666,
Ok then please watch it here: https://www.veed.io/view/fdb29889-73af-4d91-a18e-fdc3a2b58664?sharingWidget=true
thanks for the effort but the image swatch type in that demo is only shown as the result list not a filtering widget themselves, are you saying the plugin I mention does not achieve that either?
I’m developing a plugin for WooCommerce that conflicts with the Porto theme. When Porto is enabled, you use your own product gallery instead of the default WooCommerce product gallery. Is there a way to disable your gallery and revert back to the standard gallery from Woo? Perhaps with a filter?
Thank you!
Hi support team,
As mentioned, I’m not a user
I’m an author of a popular WooCommerce plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-product-fields-for-woocommerce/) and some users of your theme can’t use my plugin because of the custom gallery (owls carousel?) that you implement on the “single product” page.
I’m wondering if you have a code snippet (a filter) that can turn off your gallery and use the standard WooCommerce gallery instead. That would make sure users can keep using my plugin and your theme together. Everybody wins in that scenario.
Hi team,
I’m guessing I can’t get an answer on this?
Hello, @seok80,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress
Always try to check the speed on GTmetrix: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.portotheme.com/YcuqqcgC/
Our theme is one of the most optimized on the market. In general, our theme is already optimized and doesn’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images, or other resources. So we suggest you remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache, or use WP Rocket for both tasks. Also, you can use the GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.
We have the Speed Optimization Wizard as well, you can use it to speed up your site and we also have the Soft Mode as well.
Can you show an example that the Porto theme loads quickly?
Hello, @seok80,
First of all, we would like to tell you that Google very often scores with 20-40 points mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress. To get more points you need to have a really light page. For example remove all sliders, carousels and leave a few banners and products only. Then you will get a high result. But usually, our theme works very fast on mobile devices and don’t have any problems with performance. We suggest you test it on a few mobile devices and you will see that there are no real performance problems. Google PageSpeed gives you recommendations on how to improve the performance of your web site, but it does not actually measure the speed (aka loading time) of your website. If your site loads fast, you can safely ignore PageSpeed’s recommendations.
Here is the result of our demo site on Envato URL: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/preview.themeforest.net/TxqSQYMN/

2.Will I be customizing this theme with Elementor or WP Bakery, which of this plugin you used for this demo?
3.Where can I set up the registration page, currently the demo registration page is still linked to Porto Theme demo page, and how can I add Facebook and Google registration?

Hi
Using Elementor for the first time is proving a lot difficult than I expected, you have built a very good theme but the customization is proving very complicated for me, even the smallest thing as changing images and some colors is complicated, I never thought I will find it hard in changing footer and header color in a theme Please kindly help me with how and where to make the below listed changes,
1. I have changed to shop 20 instead of the shop 15 demo, I ran into some difficulties on that demo and then had to change it. So please kindly give me the list of plugins needed for this demo to fully complete the customization
2. Where can I make First and second menu color changes,
3. Theme banner changes. Where can I make featured and middle banner changes?
4. The 3 top header HTML items, I need to change each color, how can I achieve that?
5. I also need to change the footer background color, please where can I do that?
6. Add to favorite heart icon is not showing up in featured product Layout, I have tried most of the layout options but is still not showing, how can I make it to show up?

Thank you guys in advance for your help.
is it possible to change the shop thumbnails on the archive page to portrait instead of square?
Hello, @dennygoosensen,
Yes you can, this setting depends on the WooCommerce default settings. you have to go to Appearance >> Customize >> WooCommerce >> Product Images and Choose “Custom” and set the values as per your requirements: https://postimg.cc/Yjm1nbW5
Perfect, can you also hide the quantity field on the productpage and show only the add to cart button there?
I want to hide the quantity on the single product page and only show the add to cart button (im not building yet, but want to now before purchasing)
Hi,
Where can find the list of icons available such as porto-icon-category-garden
Regards
Hello, @selimsan,
You can check the icon list here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shortcodes/icons/
Can I install the theme into different domain (in same server) after I bought it once? And can I amend all the content on elementor?
Hello, @lilylee1028,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress
Please read our theme documentation on activation here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/how-to-register-porto/
We always recommended using the single page builder at a single time on a single site, using multiple page builders always destroyed the site.
Regards, P-THEMES.
So if I want to implement the theme into different site, I need to buy it several times? Or I just need to buy it once and apply it on different site?
Hello, @lilylee1028,
Yes, if you want to use the theme on 5 different live sites, then you have to purchase 5 different licenses of the theme, This is Envato policy and you may wish to confirm from them as well.
Regards, P-THEMES.
Dear Sir or Madam, I am thinking about buying your theme, but I would like to know if there is a possibility, if I don’t like the theme within the first 30 days, to get my money back.
Greetings
A. Lichtenstein Bronkos-Wuffelshop
Pre sales question: I am thinking to buy your theme for this demo : https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop32/
I have some questions: 1: Can i edit the home page of that demo to show the links at the top area instead of left side? and can i do any customization? 2: Is this theme include page builder elemantor pro or wp bakery pro versions? Or we need to buy that? 3: If i buy this theme at normal price and can i pay for extend support after 6 months? 4: The speed for the shop is slow if you check at : web.dev ? Is your theme optimized for it Google web vitals as it’s important.
Let me know these for now thanks fast please.
Hello, @extremeboy,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress
1. Yes you can, you have to change the Menu position as per your requirements in the header builder.
2. The page builders plugins are included in the theme package but the free versions, not the pro versions.
You can always get the latest updates of the Premium plugins with the Theme update in the Theme Package.
And there is no need to activate or purchase a new license for this plugin. This plugin is already included in the theme package and already purchased the license by P-Themes. This activation message is for those who want to update the plugin directly from their website. In our case, you can receive the updated plugin always with the theme update release.
So no need to activate it, just ignore the message and feel free to use it.
You can not use the library/template of any Premium plugin including in any Theme Package, If you want to use the premium plugin library/template then you have to purchase that particular plugin license separately, this is the Envato policy you may wish to confirm from them as well.
3. With the normal price you will get the free 6-month support with every single license.
4. Always try to check the speed on GTmetrix: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.portotheme.com/YcuqqcgC/

Hi Porto,
I have placed a shortcode in my home page to show the main products: [product id=”xxxxxx, xxxxxx, xxxxxx”] Problem is: 1. Images are bigger than cathegories. Any way to reduce it? 2. Only is showed one image. I have to edit or click something in the template? 3. The shortcode is correctly written?
This is the url example: https://www.candleart.es/fr/ The first product is the main products, but only is showed one.thanks.
Hi Porto,
From which string translation I should translate this “has been added to your cart” https://www.candleart.es/vela-limpieza-negra/ (when I add product to cart) I have translated in woocommerce string but is not translated when I add to cart.thanks

Hello,
I’m having trouble creating the categories when editing the theme on my site. There will be more than one sub-category under the main category and there will be more than one product within those sub-categories.
After clicking the main category in the menu, I want the subcategories to be listed with their images. How can I do this?
This is exactly what I want on the site using the same theme:
https://egycards.com/product-category/all-cards/gift-cards/google-play-gift-cards/Regards.
Hello, @komoxti,
You have to create products.
You have to create categories.
You have to create sub-categories.
Then you have to assign the products to sub-categories and then assign the sub-categories to parent categories.
And then follow this video: https://www.veed.io/view/c3b0ae58-fd58-492c-8f04-816b783034f3?sharingWidget=true
Hope this helps.
Regards, P-THEMES.
Great work!
Thank you very much
So kind of you…
Hello, I am writing to you regarding your theme Porto, I am interested in whether it is possible to create an online store that presents products from different categories with different options for size and color and others, but not be active, not have a button for price and buy, but have an inscription that says that the products are sold in bulk and whoever wants to buy them can write to them or contact them by phone?
Hello, @svilenari,
First of all, thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress
Yes, you can achieve, what you want using our Theme.
You have to use Catalog Mode and turn OFF the Add to Cart button from your Shop.
And then you have to create a Custom Product Layout using Porto Template Builder and use the elements of the page builder for contact or phone to the vendor on that Custom Product Layout page and then you can use that layout for products on your site…
ok thank you then I’ll order it right away
You’re Most Welcome!!
We warmly welcome you… Hope you will love our theme
Hi Porto, Any way to change the cart display? when customers add something to the cart?
thanks
Hello, @Joaquim_,
You can change the Add to Cart notification from Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Product Archives as per your requirements: https://postimg.cc/0b9qbNj4
Thanks Porto, Regarding this I have a problem: Add to cart (style 3) can be above and right side? Instead at bottom – right part?
HI Porto,
Regarding this, the string “Add to Cart” I’m unnable to translate it because I understand the native languaje of Template is english and my main languaje of web is Spanish. So then. Add to cart is showed in my english translation and Spanish translation. You can check in my site: www.candleart.es
Please any help? Is very important to make sure clients can buy my products.
thanks, Joaquín
Hello, @Joaquim_,
1. You can make it in between of the screen using Custom CSS. Please copy and paste the below-given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check back your site after removing the browser cache.
.after-loading-success-message.style-3 {
top: 0 !important;
}
2. Please use the Loco translate plugin on your site. After installing the plugin please Navigate to Loco >> Themes >> porto >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.
Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Woocommerce >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.
Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> porto-functionality >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/Note:
1. Custom (recommended)
2. This is Loco’s protected folder under “wp-content/languages/loco/” which is safe from automatic updates and provides priority over the above locations.
If this folder doesn’t exist you may need to create it and ensure it has the correct permissions.
If the issue still exists then please send me the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and solve the issue for you.
Please Help
Question 1 How to make the Header “Login/Register” disappear and “My Account/Logout” appear when I log in?
Question 2 Do you want to change your country’s Pay for payments? How can I add it?
Question 2 / Can I change my country’s Pay for payments? How do I add it?
Hello, @AungZinOo_7,
1) The thing is “Login/Register” is coming from the blocks and the blocks are in the Porto >> Template Builder there you will find the block to edit it. To remove it from header you have to go to the Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Header Builder there you will see that in the header this element is set simply remove the element and save settings it will be removed. Now to set the “My Account/Logout” when log in require customization because in the theme there is no feature and option or widget to use. You can use any third-party plugin for this from WP Market at your own risk or contact our customization team at ptheme.customize@gmail.com or pthemes.developer@gmail.com for their paid services.
2) You want to add the “Do you want to change your country’s Pay for payments?” but the thing is where you want to add this?
Thanks
You’re Most Welcome!!
How do I edit & update the checkout page?
Hello, @AungZinOo_7,
Unfortunately, you can not directly edit the checkout page as that page is an Archive page and is coming from the WooCommerce plugin, you have to use Customization to edit that page: https://woocommerce.com/posts/customize-checkout-fields-woocommerce/ OR https://hollerwp.com/customize-woocommerce-checkout-page/#:~:text=The%20easiest%20way%20to%20customize,label%2C%20position%2C%20and%20more.
Hi! I’ve been hired to work with a client running Porto on her WP site. I tried to update to the current version from 6.2.6. She’s also running a child theme. I receive an error message: An error occurred while uodatina Porto: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP ERR BAD FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature Any suggestion on how to address this issue? Thank you.
Thank you. I will ask her if she has access to that but if I had to guess I think she’s going to say no because she bought the business from another woman. It’s a tutoring business. She told me she never logs in to WP and she hired someone prior to me that did a few things and ended up loading a Divi page builder so she’s running the Porto theme but using Divi to create the pages. That alone is weird to me! Anyway, what if she doesn’t have access to the original theme purchase / purchase code?
Hello, @JenniferArndt,
If she does not have the original purchase code then she have to purchase the new license of the theme. Unfortunately without purchase code verification, we are not able to help you.
Regards, P-THEMES.
I’ve repurchased and will reach out via the support system. Thanks!
Ok Sure… We are always there to help you.
