Hello,
I have some pre-sale questions before going forward with purchase. I would appreciate if you could take the time to reply all my queries below & am sure if will help other potential buyers as well.
1. Geo-Location i. Can we restrict listings based on the user location country? The directory should still be worldwide, but for example, if a user is browsing the site from UK, it does not make sense for him/her to see listings from Australia; and likewise, if a user is from Autralia, he/she should not see listings from UK.
ii. Can we insert the map with all the listings anywhere in the website or it can be only at specific place? For example, I want to insert the map at the bottom of the homepage, just before the footer. If possible, please share the link how to do it.
iii. How does the Gelocation system works? Does it locate based on GPS, Ip Address..??
2. Listings Categories & Subscriptions i. Can we have different listing page style for each category? For example, restauramt listig page is different from Doctor listing page..
ii. I want to have 3 listings categories, can we have different subscription packages for each categories? For example: Category 1: Plan Silver, Gold & VIP Category 2: Plan Basic, Standard & Premium Category 3: Plan Starter, Pro & Custom
i. Can we have different subscription packages for each categories? ii. Can each of the above plan have different price? For example, if they take one month, it’s Price we have different subscription packages for each categories?
3. Payment System 1. What payment options are available? 2. Do you alo have Bank Transfer/Cash as payment options? The listings will then need to be manually approved. 3. Can we put specific payment options depending on user country. For example, a user subscribing from UK can make payment using Bank Transfer but a user from Australia cannot. 4. Do we have a system for automatic recurring payment for the subscription? 5. Can a user upgrade it’s subscription plan? 6. Can we create automatic mail when a user plan is about to expire?
4. Subscription Plan i. What are the options available for subscription plan? ii. Based on the subscription plan, I want to be able to allow/not allow a user to insert their: Website, Social Media Pages, Map, Opening Hours, have contact form on their listing page all depending on their subscription plan. For example, User in Basic Plan cannot list their website URL, but users in Advance plan can. Is it possible? iii. Can I limit the amount of images upload per user based on subscription plan? iv. Can I control who can insert listing description based on subscription plan? v. Some categories, for example, Restaurant will have seral sub-categories, like Asian-Cuisine, Spanish-Cuisine, Mexican-Cuisine, can I resict the amount of sub-categories a user subsribed to based on subscription plan?
4. HomePage & other features i. Do we have an option of Featured listings that can be displayed on home page. This feature should be for user who is from specific packages.
ii. Can we enable Sign In/Sign Up by Facebook & Google?

With respect to your query here:
- Currently there is no restrictions for listings based on countries, but you can view listings based on a certain country or based on your location. However this does not restrict you from viewing other listings. Can we insert the map with all the listings anywhere in the website or it can be only at specific place?
- Currently the map is only restricted to be within the search listing page template at the moment. How does the Gelocation system works? Does it locate based on GPS, Ip Address..
- Geolocation on listify is based on the location address of the listing. You will need to insert a formatted address or a geocoded address within the listing data while creating it.
- Unfortunately the listify has only one listing style across every listing category. If you want to have different styles you would have to involve custom work to achieve that. I want to have 3 listings categories, can we have different subscription packages for each category? Can we have different subscription packages for each category? ii. Can each of the above plan havea different price
- The theme relies on WooCommerce Subscriptions and listing payments to create listing subscriptions. All these subscriptions can be assigned to any listing they are not limited to any category or listing.
- Each package or plan can be assigned a different plan depending on what it offers. If you want Package 1 for category 1 to be more pricey than plan 2 for category 2 then that is possible.
- The theme uses WooCommerce when it comes to transactions. Therefore all payment gateways supported by WooCommerce will work well with the theme. Can we put specific payment options depending on user country.
- This WooCommerce plugin gives you the option to choose which payment gateway will be available in a certain country, or countries. If you need to have a certain payment gateway to be available in all countries, don’t set an option for it. Do we have a system for automatic recurring payment for the subscription? Can a user upgrade it’s subscription plan?
- With the WooComerce Subscription plugin which the theme uses, a recurring payment can be charged without involvement from the customer or store manager. WooCommerce Subscriptions processes the payment with the payment gateway used to purchase the subscription. This method is the most convenient for you and your customers. Can we create automatic mail when a user plan is about to expire?
- Currently this is not present as a feature within the theme. However, it can be added in the course of the upcoming updates. What are the options available for subscription plan?Based on the subscription plan, I want to be able to allow/not allow a user to insert their: Website, Social Media Pages, Map, Opening Hours, have contact form on their listing page all depending on their subscription plan
- Well, this is not something that is controlled in the subscription plan. As i had previously quoted we do not have any limitations within the subscription plan. Ideally the plans work only to achieve the recusrring concept of payment. However, the plan does allow you to set the Listing limit, Listing duration, Purchase Limit and allow you to set the listing as Featured or not. Can I limit the number of images uploaded per user based on the subscription plan? Can I control who can insert listing descriptions based on the subscription plan? Can I restrict the number of sub-categories a user subscribed to based on the subscription plan?
- Unfortunately the above capabilities can not be achieved with the subscription plan we have. You would have to use a third party plugin to have this included.
- Yes you can display the featured listings on the homepage with the theme. A subscription package has the ability to set a listing as featured so the user who has a featured listing must have to be subscribed to a plan. As for social logins, these can only be achieved with a social login/signup plugin.
Can we restrict listings based on the user location country?

Looks like this theme is still not supported for PHP8. Causes a critical error on the website – critical error is the theme file listify/inc/class-strings.php on line 133

With respect to your query here, Indeed, Listify’s RTL support is automatically generated using CSSJanus. This is the same technique used by WordPress core.
This automatic generation does not provide 100% support for RTL but your website will be loaded read right to left. Some things such as main content area being on the left side of the screen will remain.

Thank you for your reply. Then we have to buy it first. But one thing before that: we saw another theme that has a feature for setting up the commission rate for sub-sellers as a fixed amount or as a percentage. Does your theme have a similar feature?

With respect to your query here, we currently do not have this feature within our theme to set the commission rate for sellers as fixed/percentage since this is more of a directory theme than a vendor theme. However this can be achieved with inclusion of third-party plugins and Add-ons from WooCommerce.

Please help me, Does the theme supports these requirements:
1- Product recommendation based on customer navigation history. 2- Instant search along with search history. 3- Payment gateway with multi payments methods (CC, fawry, cash wallets…etc). 4- Seller interface should be completely managed by dropdown menu except box for free text. 5- Auto recommendation for Vendor based on customer detected location. 6- Offer price option, that generate immediate notification to seller includes customer data. 7- Feature listing option controlled automatically according to customer subscription level.

With respect to your query here, our queries seem to be more focused on a vendor site but Listify is more of a directory site. However, here are some of the answers:
- Unfortunately this is not supported within the theme as it is a directory theme. But you can include some plugins on the site to support this.
- The search included in the theme is based on keywords, category or location, It does not include previous searches.
- This is possible as it uses WooCommerce for its payment gateways which support several.
- The seller interface is managed by WooCommerce and it is not based on dropdowns. As a directory theme, there is a minimal seller interface.
- The functionality for auto location detection is there but this is used to show users listings within their region.
- We do not offer pricing for our listings. The pricing is done in terms of packages or plans.
- Feature listings is possible when a user buys a package or subscribes to a package.

With respect to your query here, the theme requires that you have the latest WordPress version and at least PHP 7.4. The theme can support multiregion support as well depending on how you set it up with multi region plugin. The packages are included as an extra feature with a third-party plugin known as listing payments.

Hi we’ve been asked to build a directory of holiday accommodation e.g. hotels, guest houses etc.. Each hotel will have its own calendar which syncs to airbnb and booking.com. Is this possible with your theme please?

HI, can a user with editor role (but not an admin) edit certain fields from frontend to subscriber profile ?

With respect to your query here, ideally a listing owner can actually add a listing on the front end and then have it published on the site of the admin. This owner does not have to have admin credentials to do this.
Additionally they can head over to the listing dashboard and edit the listing they had previously added and include more photos to the listing or add certain information. However they do not have permissions to verify and permit the listing to display unless this is allowed by the admin himself.

If I use google maps as location while adding a listing instead of adding locations as taxonomies, will it possible that search a place or country and the listings from that country or place appears?

With respect to your query here, yes indeed it will be possible to search for listings but in this case we recommend using location address rather than the regions. Regions/locations as taxonomies do cover a wider area and thus the listings brought in the search results will be many general based on that region. On the other hand if you use the location address the listings brought upon searching will not be many since the search is specific on that address.

Hi, can I create a plan(30 days) thats will update the ad to be on the top of the list every 7 days? For example, day 1 the ad is on the top. Day 6 the will be number 41. Day 7, the ad will be on the top again. And, so on till the plan ends.

With respect to your query here, well, creating such a plan with our theme is currently not possible. The existing way to create plans would be to have the plan for a featured listings whereby the listing is always displayed at the top throughout the entire period of the plan till it ends.
