Impreza is a solid theme, kudos to you guys.

I have a few suggestions:

Header Section 001

The hamburger menu needs work.

Take a look at https://edition.cnn.com, At the moment, to execute this in Impreza, I have to create a page block, add it to the menu, then call the menu in the nav bar, (then, I set “show mobile menu when screen width is less than” to 4000px in order to trigger the mobile menu effect for web.) To an extent it works. but it’s just “make believe” it’s not “clean” if you know what I mean.

More importantly, I can’t change the background, I’m stuck with whatever background I use for the nav bar. Also, it behaves like a dropdown. If you take a look at the CNN reference above you’ll notice that the “drop-down” canvas fills the entire screen, while the hamburger menu and the nav bar stay in place, no matter the size of the device you’re viewing it on.

At the moment, to achieve the full-width effect for a page block menu (not the regular dropdown) I have to set the nav bar to full width, not cool

In a nutshell, if we can achieve the style of the menu in the above link, without all the hassles and hacks, it’d be great.

PS. another hamburger + dropdown style you might consider incorporating is at https://plos.org, it’s amazing, and works well on small and large screens alike.

Header Section 002

Still in the same breath as the suggestion above, although, this has more to do with the fullscreen hamburger menu. the hamburger icon is fairly customisable, but the close button on the overlay/popup is a complete “wild card”

It’d be great if the hamburger and the close button can be customised (meaning, I can upload, or “call” custom SVG icons for the trigger and the close button) and secondly, they should both stay in place.

Right now, the hamburger stays on the nav bar, but when you click on it, and the overlay opens up, the close button moves far away from the trigger, In my humble opinion it’s just not good UX.

A good example of the behaviour I’m describing can be found here https://www.jdgconstructions.com.au and here https://heleonic.com and here https://www.medecinsdumonde.org please, ignore the animations, not a fan. what I like is the fact that regardless of it being a full-screen menu overlay, the hamburger/trigger and the close button/icon, stay in exactly the same position (whether opened or closed) It’s amazing.

PS. it’d be great to be able to achieve all of this as well, overlay animations, mouse effects, scroll effects, simple modern animations, etc, I don’t want to write another epistle again, the link below says it all.

Hey there, my support is not active anymore but hopefully you can help me anyway. I have updated an old impreza installation (2017ish) and followed your instructions. Everything worked so far but when I want to update a page, a form or anything I run into issues (white page etc).

If I disable the core I can edit/save forms. And if I edit a page, I receive a white screen but the changes apply.
