Solved! I’ve disabled the Parallax Background Image Scroll (in Row Settings – Animation) from the row and the testimonials have reappeared.

In the “Grid Item coloring/style” tab, you can adjust the “Color Overlay” as well as the “Text Color Hover” to what you desire.

Hey Insaniam, an issue like that could occur when lazy loading all images, if some of your images are not sized appropriately to fill the columns that they’re contained in. For testing, you can disable the lazy loading option in the Salient options panel > general settings > performance tab, “Lazy Load Page Builder Element Images”.

Unfortunately, there’s built-in option to link a team member element to a Lightbox in that manner. However, I would recommend that you make use of the team member “Meta Overlaid, Bio Modal” style and then use CSS to alter the design/hide the bio to achieve the functionality you’re looking for without any custom development through a child theme template modification.

The secondary header hides by default when scrolling away from the top to provide more space for the content. You can alter that and make it persist by add the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:

Thanks for that. I tried it, but I think we want to keep the picture as half the page, so that solution may not work. So then on some big screens, the picture may get cut off so only part of the face is showing. On iPad the same thing happens when tablet is held vertically. When held horizontally, the pictures fit better, but there is a problem with scrolling on the text. Also either way on iPad, there is no “x” button to x out of the window like there is on mobile and web. Thanks for any help.

If you wish to keep the team member photo fullscreen, the aspect ratio of it will change depending on the device you’re using and cause cropping. In the demo, we use images are are slightly further away to allow the cropping to not interfere with the subject as much. If you’d like to share your URL in regards, I’d be glad to take a look at your images to provide some further guidance.

You can also add in the following CSS snippet in order to add the “close” icon in iPad viewports:

I have installed and optimized everything (using Autoptimize) and minified everything. the issue is still there.

I ran the Google Mobile Friendly test separately and results where still the same with the errors,

I ran the Google Mobile Friendly test through the google admin page also, the errors are still visible.

When running your URL through the mobile test, I’m seeing mixed results. i.e. after running the test 10 times, most of the time it’s passing and with one time showing as failing.

On the occasion that it showed as failing with those two warnings, clicking the actual error reveals a screenshot of the page and it’s clear the see that the assets have not loaded for the test: https://ibb.co/zRSvtPB

My guess is that it’s related to the same topic as discussed here on the Google search console forums:

Bars as you are describing would usually occur when the video uploaded is not in the correct aspect ratio. Elements that allow videos to be as a background are expected to be provided in a 16:9 aspect ratio in order to scale them to fit correctly. Can you verify what size you’ve uploaded the videos at?
