Hello,

I am facing two issues in Porto theme.

1.Need to change the colors of sub category in main header (Navigate to shop and then sub category linen, ANS basics) 2. Only 4 products are coming in search results of the website for example if we are typing Yoga it is showing just 4 products while 15 are added in this category.

1. Please copy and paste the below-given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and check back to your site after removing the browser cache.

2. That is because Yoga has only 4 products, If you check it with “Handwoven” then here is the result: https://asthaandsidharth.com/?s=handwoven&post_type=product&product_cat=0 it means there is no issue from our theme, but you have only 4 products for your Yoga, Please try to check the other products which are not showing must have Yoga word in it.

Hello! I found today a problem with product image size on archieve pages. If i upload a new image it is showing smaller in product archieve pages than old ones and this is happening with every product. In product page images show up correct size but in archieve pages not. https://ibb.co/rvvPzsH

Sorry for the inconvenience but this is because of the latest WooCommerce plugin version, yeah WooCommerce released the major update, and some functionality was affected like image cropping, so we have solved this issue with the new theme update released, please check the changelog here: https://themeforest.net/item/porto-responsive-wordpress-ecommerce-theme/9207399#item-description__change_logs and update your theme and theme required plugins to the very latest version and it will solve your issue.

Is it safe to upgrade to Php8.0 for porto 6.4.0? right now, I am using php7.4

Yes, you can, you have to use the header builder in customizer or header builder in template builder and create your own mobile header and place any element at any place as per your requirements.

Hi there,

I have set up my product archive pages with a sidebar and I can’t get my Categories widget to have the clickable dropdown like your demo.

My sidebar widget just displays the top level categories with the number count and not the sub-categories.

How do I make it like your demo example? I have logged a ticket…

First of all, please make sure that you must have the product sub-categories on your site and you have assigned the products to those sub-categories as well.

That is because we have turned OFF the Ajax Search on that demo, you have to turn it ON from Theme Options and it will work for you.

On single product pages, how do I get the “Related Products in Single Product:” setting to show products of the same category. Mine site is choosing random products not even close to related. Thanks

Related Products is a section on some templates that pulls products from your store that share the same tags or categories as the current product.

These products cannot be specified in the admin but can be influenced by grouping similar products in the same category or by using the same tags.

1. Unfortunately, this is not possible and I do not suggest you to try it on your previous site built with another theme, I would suggest you to try it on a fresh new WordPress to avoid any confliction and unexpected issues.

2. No need to purchase the PRO version, you can easily modify anything with the theme pre-packaged plugin as per your requirements.

None of the change I do in Theme Options>Skin>Mobile Menu work. I tried everything ive been trying for weaks and nothing… its there some other option I dont know?

Let me try to explain it to you, when you save any changes from theme options, it rewrite those changes to the portostyles folder files which are responsible for the site CSS to work. So sometimes because of file permission issue, sometimes server cache issue, sometimes site cache plugins issues, sometimes because of any server restriction issues, sometimes third party plugin confliction issue, that could be any reason from the above ones, the files under portostyles folder does not update with the new changes from theme options, so that is why in that case, we recommended to delete that folder of porto-styles under Cpanel >> wp-content/uploads and then click on save changes button again from the theme options, so that it will create the same new folder with same files again at the same place but with new changes from the theme options.

Unfortunately, this is not possible with the Custom CSS, as you can simply show and hide the button with the Custom CSS, but the button must have to be in the code and the functionality as well, so this requires extra Customization as this is not our theme default functionality.
