Hello, I have downloaded version 8.1.2 and I am following the Laravel manual when running the composer install command I get the following error: SQLSTATEHY000 Access denied for user ‘forge’@’localhost’ (using password: NO) (SQL: select * from `settings`)

I am using laragon 5 – Composer version 2.3.10 – PHP 8.1.8 – Node JS 16.16.0

Hi,

Here is a workaround. A quick solution would be to comment out:

/app/helpers.php Line: 191

and

/app/Core/Bootstraps/BootstrapDemo1.php Line: 28-39

Then after migrating and seeding you can uncomment back those lines.

We will fix it as soon as possible

DataTable – Selected record’s color

I inserts a link into a column of the row which is blue as default. Unfortunately, the selected row’s color is darker blue therefore when the row is selected, the link on that row seems like disappeared.

Could you please change the default color of links on the selected row to be lighter so that we can see them?

The default JS files comes with the theme are having bigger size > 1MB or around 2 MB

My customer base has low internet speeds and the theme does not load and cause slowness.

I’m not a high tech developer and not able to figure out how to reduce the JS and other dependency sizes.

Is there a sample link with less theme size which can be referred?

Hi,

It is an issue with vue-i18n imports in some files.

We already fixed this and include a fix in the next Metronic release, to fix it now you need to change imports from

import { useI18n } from "vue-i18n/index";

to

import { useI18n } from "vue-i18n";

Hi,

Looks like the last error is because you didn’t fix vue-i18n import in file core/plugins/i18n.ts.

Unfortunately, we wasn’t able to reproduce other errors, could you please specify which demo and which Metronic version are you using?

If there are any steps on how to reproduce these errors please describe them.

Hi,

We reproduced this error in v8.0.38, to fix it you need to include bootstrap import @import “~bootstrap/scss/maps”; in file vue/demo1/src/assets/sass/_init.scss

Please follow import order as shown below:

In Metronic 8 we are using Vue 3 by default, Metronic 8 is not compatible with Vue 2.

In Metronic 8 we already using Vue 3 so you do not need to update it for a project.

Please note that I too am using 5.2.0-beta1. I’ve updated my Metronic them to demo7/8.1.1. You can easily reproduce, simply add a href=”#/dashboard” to the tag within the AsidePrimary.vue

tag.

I was only able to resolve the issue by removing the nav-link from the class list.
