Hi, it seems that there is a small bug in the newest version 6.4.1. On products archive page only text “SALE” is displayed as a badge and active theme setting “Show Saved Sale Price Percentage” is ignored. Within product detail page everything is fine.

I cannot attach a screenshot, but you can find it lower on the page on some products there is a countdown on a orange background and it says “Offer Ends in: 8 days..etc”

I see, so there are 2 possible ways:

1. You have to edit every single product and remove the sale time.

2. You can use the Custom CSS to remove it from your site from all the products. You have to paste the code in Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS.

Have you purchased the Porto WordPress theme? If yes, then please contact us through your theme purchase account to get the free support for Porto WordPress theme.

This is not our Theme but some restrictions issue from your server end, please contact your hosting provider and ask to do the following listed below, and then check back after removing the server, site, and browser cache, I am sure it will solve your issue.

It turns out the issue is that trying to save changes in the Porto Theme Settings is triggering ModSec rule 300015 for some reason, which is an SQL injection protection rule, so you have to disable this rule server-wide until you are in the development process, as the ModSec rule that was getting triggered is one of the standard WHM/cPanel rules as of one of the newer versions, so more and more servers are going to have this rule enabled by default.

OR

That might be the permission issue from your server end and DB end, so in that case you have to contact the hosting provider as well and ask to check and solve the permission issue.

Yes, I am hosting the server on AWS with prebuilt aws bitnami stack. I checked mod security is not enabled. I checked the file permission and they have 644 and also tried 755 but it still does not work.

Could you please inform me what is happening “behind the scene” if i click to rollback to previous version. It going to replace only the folder of theme in my server ( public_html >wp-content>themes ) ? Is it possible to download somewhere the previous edition of Theme and to upload it manually via ftp? Let me try to explain it to you, when you save any changes from theme options, it rewrite those changes to the portostyles folder files which are responsible for the site CSS to work. So sometimes because of file permission issue, sometimes server cache issue, sometimes site cache plugins issues, sometimes because of any server restriction issues, sometimes third party plugin confliction issue, that could be any reason from the above ones, the files under portostyles folder does not update with the new changes from theme options, so that is why in that case, we recommended to delete that folder of porto-styles and then click on save changes button again from the theme options, so that it will create the same new folder with same files again at the same place but with new changes from the theme options.

Why would this error suddenly be coming up after having it installed for over a year?

Update failed: Purchase Code is not valid or could not connect to the API server! Please try again later.

And the purchase code shows valid when look at the activation.

The website has disabled the wp bakery plugin which makes the site unreadable. We’re not able to update plugin, theme or anything.

Please try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that does not come bundled with our theme, clear the cache of the browser, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is a reason for the problem.

And if the issue will still persists then please remain all the third-party plugins deactivated on your site and contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin Login details and provide us the permission to debug your site which includes deactivating all the third-party plugins and on-site Customization as well so that our experts will check and assist you accordingly.

My Menus has stopped working since last update. I’ve disabled the lazy loading options but they still doesn’t load (only the top menu loads, sub menus are there but shows nothing like trying to load). Any idea who to fix it ? how to figure out what is wrong ?
