Hi, I updated my theme, and now the revslider is asking for a purchase code. I tried replacing the plugin with the shipped .zip, but the result remains the same. Can you please help me fix?

The plugins that you got after the purchase (like Slider Revolution) are called bundled and we, as theme authors, have purchased an extended license for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
Bundled plugins offer the same core features and functionality as the standalone version of the item on CodeCanyon. Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.
Bundled plugins do get updated with the theme, however, in case you need latest version of any bundled plugin you can submit a ticket at our Help Center or contact us through this email (just add your purchase code in the mail) and our support agents will provide you with latest version.

How do we keep up to date with WPBakery and Slider revolution – the purchase code in their individual text files is empty?

Please note that WPBakery and Slider Revolution does come bundled within the theme and you do not need to activate any license for it as bundled plugins do get updated when the theme is.

It could be that different header and logo options are set on the page. Local page options will override global theme options and you can find more in this article – The Global And Local Settings Info And Troubleshooting

I have an issue with the server config
SUHOSIN – is a php 5.5 extension – it’s not even available on 7.4+ is this theme not compatible without it?
Max_input_vars 5000 ? that’s quite ridiculous too? what are the actual MINIMUM requirements. I need to import the demo content – but i don’t want to modify an entire server for this.

The SUHOSIN extension is not necessary. In case that it is active, it would require some additional settings, and that’s the only reason we’ve listed it here. And since you don’t have it, there is nothing to worry about.
If you are somehow having an issue with the demo import we would kindly ask you to check your resources as well as you can always try to import our demo content with our XML file.

- Envato page is stating last update as of september 2021 but the files downloaded are from 1.9.1 version, october 2020.
- the “Save as template” option in wp bakery seems not to work.

Sometimes other changes unrelated to theme files are made on ThemeForest, and the latest update was for adding GPL license. When the theme is updated you will be notified via email and the changes will be listed in the change log.
The “Save as template” option is fixed in newer version of WPBakery plugin. You should know that in case you need latest version of any bundled plugin you can submit a ticket at our Help Center or contact us through this email (just add your purchase code in the mail) and our support agents will provide you with latest version.
