Is there a way to make the circle icons (that hold fa icons and fade in as the page scrolls up) act as links? I can make the titles beneath them into links but can’t figure out how/if it would work for the circles. Thanks!

In SX Section, column icons cannot be made links.

Hi there, I love the potential for this theme, thank you! Question: I’m trying to work on the main title page, but the name keeps getting “drowned” out by the fullscreen overlay. I’d love to use that and the parallax feature, but it seems like there’s some blending option that makes the business name very faint. I hope I’m explaining this correctly… thank you!

The version of FontAwesome that is included in the Layers is used by default. This is not the latest version of FontAwesome and some icons may not be available. You can try to install third party plugins for support latest version of Fontawesome.

First, sorry for using another name, Festival Ojos Rojos, to contact you. I didn’t realize I purchased (twice, as first I purchased the HTML package by mistake) Skrollex with my personal account. As I said, I disabled all plugins, (I tried again this morning) and the error persists. If as you say it could be Javascript or HTML, I don’t know where to begin as I’m not a programmer. I don’t think I added any code by mistake. Any ideas?

Your page contains many images that are not on the server. The preloader is waiting for some time to load them, most likely this is the problem. This is what I see in the browser console:

Hi again, as I said I’m not a programmer. I see and almost understand the problem, but you haven’t given me a solution. Can you please tell em how to solve this.

It’s taking forever to get this solved because I stop `work around 20:00h Madrid time and it looks like you start later If you tell me a time, I can be available 24h just to get this solved and to be able to have more than one question/answer a day. You just need to remove these images from the page. Most likely you removed them from the server but not from the page, so they don’t show up but continue to be inserted in the “NUESTRAS INSTALACIONES” section.
Check your browser console to make sure you’ve removed all images. In Chrome press Command+Option+J (Mac) or Control+Shift+J (Windows/Linux)
I review the questions in this Dashboard daily and answer all of them. There is no other way to support on ThemeForest.

The problem I’m having with Iphones, happens also with Ipads. I’ve tried to open www.kulkalyaan.com with another browser (chrome) on an Iphone and it also crashes. As I said earlier, plugins don’t seem to be the problem. Thanks in advance for your help

You are not displayed as Skrollex buyer and I cannot see your support status. The error message says that some script is not working correctly, but theme scripts do not cause such problems. Try disabling all plugins again and create a clean page. If the problem is in the page, then most likely some incorrect HTML or Javascript code was inserted into the page content.

After an Wordpress update (Version 6.0.2) i m not able to edit the site with the customizer any more .. i allready disabled Gutenberg, but without any effect. Can you help me? Regards, Sascha

If you have updated WordPress, you will need to install the latest version of Skrollex and download the fixed version of Layers via link in the current documentation.

Hi again I deactivated all plugins but it still gives me error on Iphones. The error is www.kulkalyaan has repeatedly caused problems in Spanish ha generado problemas repetidamente. Any suggestions? I’m afraid the plugins aren’t the problem

Hi again, page is working really well (or at least that’s what I thought) I now know that with Iphones and latest generation mobile phones, I get a message saying that htpps://kulkalyaan.com problem repeatedly happened on this webpage and page title changes to “Webpage Crashed”.

Any idea why this happens??

If you have upgraded from a very old version of Skrollex, you should probably upgrade Layers as well. You need to download the Layers version from the link in the current documentation. Also, if you are still using the old version of Skrollex but have updated WordPress, then you need to update both Skrollex and Layers. If this does not help, then send error messages from the browser console.

Theme can be updated like any theme not installed from the WordPress repository. The easiest way is to download the latest version from ThemeForest, remove the old version from WordPress, install the new version. Or overwrite all theme files on the server.

No, it wasn’t removed. The video’s still there. No I can not to anything in editing layout section. It doesn’t work.

Please post link to your page or error messages from browser console. To see browser console press: Command + Option + J (Mac) or Control + Shift + J (Windows / Linux).

If you use Vimeo. Vimeo has changed its video access policy. I haven’t tracked the changes, but it seems now embedding video without controls (as a background video) is available on this hosting for paid plans only.

This is because the background video has been removed from Vimeo. Replace it with any other. Preferably your video on YouTube, Vimeo or your server. Then you will be able to control its availability.

This is not supported by theme widgets, but you can use third party plugins. In pages that are created using Layers, you can use plugins that are inserted as shortcodes. You can also create pages with the usual WordPress editor and use plugins in them that are inserted as blocks.
A refund request can be submitted via the ThemeForest form. Usually such requests are forwarded to me for approval and I approve them in situations like yours.

So i cant put an ID on SX Background Video to hide it in mobile ? And make something else show on mobile homepage ?

In SX Background you can’t do this, but you can create pages or sections within a page using plugins from WordPress repository or from other sources without using SX Background and SX Section which included in the theme.

The background video is added to the page and is only visible through the transparent sections. The section must not have a background image and have a transparent background.

If I understand you correctly, you are checking the page in a mobile browser emulator. When you change the display mode, reload the page and most likely everything will be displayed normally.

Please describe the problem. Skrollex is installed as a usual theme, but you also need to install the free version of Layers. There is a download link in the documentation.

Also may be you have limit for upload theme size. In this case, ask your hosting provider what tools you can use to upload large files to the server. This can usually be done using FTP or cPanel.

The easiest way is to delete the old version of the theme in the admin panel and install the new version the same way you installed it before.

You need to install the latest version of Skrollex if you have the latest version of WordPress. You also need to install the fixed version Layers, which should be downloaded from the link in the current Skrollex documentation.

When a user visits the site they can still view and change the colors of the site due the custom colors tab being visible. how can I hide this to regular visitors? so they cant change or reset the colors of my site.

The panel should hide automatically for regular visitors. If the visitor does not have access to the admin bar, then he should not see the color settings panel either. If this does not work for you, then the problem may be related to some permission settings or caching. Try clearing the cache on the server or disabling all plugins. Also make sure the user doesn’t have access to the admin bar.

user does not have access to the admin bar, cache deleted, no extra plugins. when you click save you get the message can not save in demo mode. the site is live

It looks like you have something cached in your browser. Perhaps this is due to the settings of SEO plugins. Try disabling all plugins and clearing site cookies and site cache in the browser. Also, if you have not updated the theme for a long time, then it is advisable to install the latest version of the theme and download the fixed version of Layers from the link in the current theme documentation.
