Sorry for the ‘stupid’ question: but I cannot see the ‘testimonial slider’ on the elements. I can see only ‘single testimonial’. I have a german backend and I checked them all.

Hey waldemarker, the testimonial slider should still be available to select from the elements modal as we don’t hide any from there by default. If you’d like to follow up on the support forum I’d be glad to look closer into the setup to see why it’s hidden for you.

Our theme was auto updated on Oct 30. Since then, when we try to edit the “Text Editor” block, the previous content doesn’t load and we are unable to update the text block. Surprisingly, when we create the new text editor block, it is working as expected – the text in the text editor loads and we are able to update the text.
It was observed that the plugin (js_composer_salient) tried to load the js files under `http` protocol, while our website is hosted on `https`. The JS files could not load and displayed “mixed-content” error.

The Salient WPBakery Page Builder already has logic to respect the current protocol in use. Since there’s no known issue related to editing existing text blocks, can you please open a ticket on the support forum in regards so that we can take a closer look? I would also recommend first verifying that it’s not a third party plugin conflict by temporarily disabling any you have active within the setup.

Is it possible to add the option to center the content on the categories pages? Now it’s all the way to the left and doesnt look good with a container or boxed design.

Hi, need urgent help. I am using salient theme for my wordpress website. It was working fine until few days but since yesterday when I try to edit it with wp baker page builder its just showing like an icon without being able to edit anything , don’t know what to do…

Hi, I have created a team member tap with 5 names. and I would like to create a hyper link from home page to go direct to each tap. Hey mahmoudy2k, The URL should not contain /tabbed-section/ – that’s the demo page URL segment. In your own setup you only will need ?tab=name-of-tab added to the end of your page URL. So if the tabs exist on /about/, http://iwac2.local/about/?tab=chief would be correct.

Hey streetjen, If you have the “Main Footer Area” option enabled within the Salient options panel > footer tab, you can set your anchor link to ”#footer-outer” to lead to it.

OK so when I use that in paragraph text, the link works perfectly. But I created a custom menu item to link the “CONTACT US” to that #footer-outer anchor, and it’s not working on desktop, not on Safari or Chrome – but it IS working on mobile. So weird. Any thoughts?

That footer-outer link will only work on regular pages which are not using the “page full screen rows” option. The link will work from within the page builder content because anchor links inside of a full screen instance receive special treatment in order to make slides able to change.
You’ll see that the anchor works normally on a regular page such as http://the-goddess-divine.com/december-2022/

Hello I’m using your Salient Creative Multipurpose & WooCommerce Theme and have installed the Demo template called “App”. I would like to turn off the “One Page Scroll Support (Animated Anchor Links)” that shows on the rightside of the site. However when I toggle it to off under the General Settings/Functionality it is still showing and doing the scrolling function. Is there something else I need to do/toggle off or is this a bug?

The “Animated Anchor Links” theme option you’re referring to is unrelated to the full screen row options, which that demo uses. To configure or disable the side navigation on that page, edit the actual page you’ve imported and scroll towards the bottom to find a metabox called “Page Full Screen Rows”. When adding a new section through wp bakery I only see 10 templates under pricing but the one with the price toggle is not an option…

That template will only be available in you’re using the most recent version of the theme (v15+) and Salient Core plugin (1.9.6). If you’re using earlier versions, please update your copy of Salient and the plugin updates will become available via your WP admin dashboard:

Since the last update, we dont see all plugin at the Required Plugins page but only those who are not installed. Is that right? So, we dont need to update the core one, is that right too?

Plugin updates will show in Appearance > Install plugins, and the last update did not provide any plugin updates. The latest version of the Salient core is 1.9.6 – is that what you’re using?

yes, I know that it is from this page that we see the plugins. But, and correct me if I’m wrong, previously, we saw all the plugins installed / to be updated / or not, on this page. That we had an overview of all plugins, regardless of their status of to be installed / updated / etc. Now, we only see the plugins to install. And if I had a plugins to update, which is not the case at the moment, it would probably be indicated there too? Or did I dream that?

When plugins have an update available, you will see them display in that same list. However, plugins which are already installed/don’t have any updates will not show up in that list. They will still be displayed in your main plugins list in the “Plugins” section in the WP admin though.

Will salient theme soon has a solution for the new Privacy Ordinance in Germany? In Germany there is now a big problem when using google fonts that are connected to the google server. Heavy fines are possible now. We need to embed all fonts locally on the site. But it also means that really nothing on the websites still connects to the google server. Is that possible with the salient theme?

Is there a way on single product pages to have everything in container as opposed to full-width, the only options I see are either full-width or with a sidebar (i don’t want a sidebar menu), but also want some padding either side of the content on the page.

The “No sidebar” option is by default still containing the content to your site’s container – it should not be allowing your content to touch the edges of the screen. However, if you’re using the page builder to add additional content in the main description area, you can of course still use a full width content row type to break out of the container.
Can you share your actual product URL so that I can take a look at your settings to better assist?

The three column pricing tables with the lotti animation on the center column (that has overflow set to Hidden) breaks on Safari (iPhone 14 Pro Max) if you have more than two tables with that animation. What happens is that having overflow hidden makes it so that the animation still shows, but the table itself doesn’t appear. Changing the overflow to Visible allows the tables to show fine, but the animation of course overflows.

Safari-specific issues with more complex animations/layering can usually be corrected by keeping the affected element in its own stacking context by utilizing a translateZ on the element transform.

Version 15.0.5 has outdated files for Woocommerce which is now at 7.0.1.

We’ll be releasing an update to remove that warning this week. The new changes added in the outdated template (form-login) are irrelevant to Salient and are based on Twenty-Twenty-Three compatibility, so nothing will be affected while running the latest WooCommerce in the meantime.
