There are actually multiple different ways you could add in an inline icon + text.
1. Set your column to to display “Inline Horizontal” for the “Column Element Direction” https://ibb.co/cvgdMJD
2. Use an element that already defines this kind of layout such as the “Icon List” element set to “Horizontal” for the direction, or the “Text With Icon” element etc.

Something in your setup is adding some malformed HTML which is closing off the main content area early and messing up the layout. Can you try temporarily disabling your third-party plugin to see which one might be causing that?
From looking at the source code, it looks like the all in one schema or possibly the social sharing plugin might be at the root of it.

1. Which strings are you referring to? If you’re trying to translate strings that exist within any of the Salient plugins, you might be using the wrong text domain I.e. strings from the core plugin use “salient-core” instead of “salient: https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/translations/#translating
2. Please open a ticket on the support forum in regards so that we can take a look at the setup.

We’ve already added TikTok as an available icon within the theme options for the header/footer social icons. However, I’ve noted to also include it in the icon page builder element.

Salient Gaps and Wishlist
Salient is an amazing theme with great flexibility and customisation. In terms of design there are very few areas which are lacking.
Key Area for improvement: E-commerce
• Design flexibility for product pages – above product description. Add design functionality to Product title, short description area. Ability to add design elements to this section.
• Mobile Filtering Shop pages – UX friendly filtering for mobile users is key.
Are there many E-commerce focused enhancements on the roadmap?

Hello! How’s the Salient team doing?
I was wondering, if it was not possible to add an effect on an image. More precisely, to display an image randomly. It seems to me that it would bring a little side even a little more interesting. For example, in the demo https://themenectar.com/salient/ecommerce-robust/, we might see this young black man, but also randomly some other images. Like each time the page is loaded, we see a random image. What do you think?

Unfortunately there’s no built-in functionality to handle that. It would either require a modification via a child theme with custom PHP to handle ti within the row template file or custom JavaScript to swap the image src from a predefined list of images.

The space is coming from an empty paragraph tag – have you checked your global section in the classic mode editor > text tab to verify there’s are stray paragraph tags at the top?

Hi, there is a reason behind deleting in the new version of Salient Core plugin (1.9.7) the row 32 (version 1.9.6) in /salient-core/includes/vc_templates/nectar_global_section.php

Applying that filter directly to the global section content caused various conflicts with plugins that hook to that for rendering – It would cause duplicated content issues.
I’ve noted to look into the WPGlobus hook to apply it manually to the global section output in the next release.

There’s currently no way to add content above the header navigation bar without custom development. Hi. After the most recent update the Lottie animation “25% Off” from the Saas demo has stopped displaying on our site. We have another custom Lottie animation that is working, but just not that particular one for some reason. We tried re-adding the demo one directly from your Row Templates and it didnt work either. Hello, I am using WooCommerce products in the builder. In the settings I can choose 4 columns or dynamic. Don’t see any difference. Client wants 6 images but can only choose 4 max. I tried the other WooCommerce options but not show the extra options same as this one. Any idea what to do?

The “Dynamic” setting will only apply when you’re using the “Enable Carousel Display” option within the element settings.
If you need to display a column number outside the available element options, you can add the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab: https://pastebin.com/f2cSfq72 The snippet will turn the option of “4” columns to “6”.

Carousel Display is enabled but not see any difference with 4 columns. Snipet is not working and still see 4 products only.
The snippet I provided was for non-carousel product grids, and will also only take effect when the column number “4” is selected within the product options.
If you wish to override the “Dynamic” option within a carousel setup, you’ll need the following CSS instead: https://pastebin.com/2pqi1v5F
