Please recheck the latest update, I am unable to update WP bakery to 7.1, I deactivated the plugin and reinstalled it from your latest version and it is 7.0 and When I try to re-update, the update did not happen. It is stuck in WP bakery 7.0

Hi, you don’t have to extend suport to update WPBakery. After each theme update, please go to Appearance – Install Slide Plugins and update the plugins that are included with the theme. I will release a new theme update today, with the latest version of WPBakery.

Hi, a new update was released with the upgraded version of Slider Revolution plugin. Please upgrade the theme, then update the plugins that are part of the theme package from Appearance – Install Slide Plugins.
Thank you very much for your replies. I didn’t know, that the plugins needed to be updated manually in Appearance>Install Slide Plugins. The plugins page doesn’t show this option. Via the plugins page the WPbakery update doen’t work and it wants you to buy the licence key. But now it works. Thank you!

Just a quick question… have you seen a scenario where, with the SLIDE theme installed, all of the Slide Music elements disappear from Elementor altogether? This happened to us just this week so our Slider Revolution banners, the MUSIC module, etc. have disappeared from the website. Any ideas on how I can look into this or reinstall them there? I think this issue may very well have to do with new version of Elementor that dropped today – Version 3.16.0. Seems like a huge coincidence to me as I am just noticing the problem today and I have another site running SLIDE that didn’t auto update and is not having any issues. :/

Hi, the audio player works either with self hosted files, or with files on external location as long as you have direct link to the media files. At this moment, it is not implemented to automatically get the list of media files from external location, as it is the case for the onestreaming.com link.

Please visit settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?” . When I go to the link given for when WPBakery was purchased in a theme, this is what I read: “How to update and receive support if I do not purchase a direct license? In such case, you need to wait for your WordPress theme author to update WPBakery Page Builder on their side and push it to you. ” The security scan of my host indicates the vulnerability comes from not having WPBakery updated… Can you help (Push the update to users of the theme)? I realised there is Elementor involved now (not installed for me). Does it replace WPBakery in the latest updates or is it just for new features?

- Is the an in-built payment system compatible ‘Livenation/BandsinTown’ directly integrated within theme? How does it work? I’m aiming to understand the user’s buying journey,
- Is the theme compatible with eventbrite plugin – A platform that manages ticket booking)? This is an alternative ticket system, that would allow us to feature several our of Theatre show events/tour dates (from those we organize ourselves, and thoses where the venue organizes it’s ticketing system)

Hi and thanks for being interested in Slide Music Theme! Regarding to your questions: the events created by the theme offers the option to link each event to external platform for purchasing tickets. So your visitors can check your events and then click on “Tickets” link to access the platform where they can buy the tickets. You can also sell tickets through your website, by using WooCommerce and creating a WooCommerce product for each ticket type. Let me know if something is not clear or you have more questions!
I’m desperately looking for a way to add an order to how the artists are displayed. Is there any way? By Name? Or by a given number? Currently they are displayed by the time the artist page was created.. is there any other way? Thanks!
The artists posts are displayed by the post date. Simply edit the posts and edit the published date.

Try http and https both on same above URL. with SSL everything breaks else it works great.
Not sure whats going on, in the past all i did was updated my htaccess to force all url to https. but with this setup. it keeps saying too many redirects.
Hi, it looks that a lot of resources (from wp core, elementor) are loaded from http. Unfortunately, I cannot help much, since this is not related to the theme functionality, it is just a matter of server configuration. Please make sure that your website URL (Settings – General) is set to the https version. Also, if you have a caching mechanism, make sure you purge all caches. Also, you need a dedicated plugin to change any URL that is set in the database with http. I hope this helps.
Hi guys – great theme and very easy to use. I do have one question regarding a page layout bug that I just discovered. Instead of having “Albums” on my site, I’m using that page to list music venues we manage. if you go to http://www.3418music.com/venues/ you’ll see that the thumbnails break on the third row. Am I missing something? Please help.

Hi, please consider adding a “sort feature” onto the video gallery section, photo gallery section and blog section. Similar to YouTube how they have the sort option on the top of a video page. Currently, everything is sorted from newest to oldest by default, but if you add the “sort feature” you will give the user the options to also sort by most popular or oldest to newest. That should give much improvement on the user’s end when navigating themselves on a large website with tons of content to display.

The same way Google does it! By Pageviews! The individual webpages that have the most pageviews will obviously be the most popular pages. So for example, this is our video gallery section… https://www.flipfloptheclown.com/videos/
And each video has its own webpage. The website itself would need to be connected to Google analytics or a similar service and you would just grab the data from there.

Please do consider it because this feature will be very beneficial for larger websites like ours. Companies or bands and artist that have a large audience therefore have a website with lots of content n traffic so they need a template that meets the requirement. I have suggested features in the past that y’all have implemented, features that have improve the theme to be compatible with larger websites. This sort Feature will greatly improve the navigation on a large website.

Better yet, just do something similar to wha Amazon mobile does and include a filter menu on the top right corner of the video section, photo section, blog section, and music. Once the user clicks on the filter, a new pop-up menu will show and then the person can sort by most popular, old to new or viceVersa and they can also soty it by categories and subcategories and also sort by date.

Using a filter feature will also replace that old category menu that currently takes up a lot of space and looks ugly, especially if you have sub-categories listed on there.

I received information on warnings activities regarding not proper usage of Google fonts. The problem is when the font is loaded with every page call from Google server instead from local (my server).
In fact Slide theme uses Google fonts, and we had selected specific fonts like “Roboto” or “Radjahni”.
So I rolled back and replaced everything to “Default” manually, on all pages where used, on all settings (Slide, Elementor…). I installed a cache plugin to delete all caches. But there’s still a Google font loaded from Slide core “default_fonts.css”: body, textarea { font-family: ‘Roboto’, sans-serif;} #logo, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 { font-family: ‘Roboto’, sans-serif;}
How can this be changed to something uncritical (a sans-serif font)? Or is the way Slide theme uses Google fonts is uncritical (in Germany)? Thanks

I now had some time toevaluate this. Meanwhile I got an theme update, with enclosed the Local Google Fonts plugin. This finally solved the issue so that fonts are preloaded and cached on the server.
