Potential buyer here. Can you please tell me: If using the “Horizontal Showcase” home page, is it possible to maintain the horizontal scrolling direction when the page is viewed on mobile devices? When perusing the live preview page of this theme I notice that the horizontal scroll is active when the browser window is in a wide format, but when the window is reduced to a slimmer aspect ratio (emulating that of a mobile phone) the horizontal scroll goes away and the page scrolls vertically again. Can this be changed? Thanks so much

Hello, I am a beginner and am simply trying to edit the Landing Page Animation that first comes up when you Preview The Site. The Demo says “Microp-Music-Theme” in the beginning animation. How Can I change this easily?

To edit pre-loader animation please navigate to Micdrop Core Options > General and set “Enable Page Spiner” option to “Yes”. After that other pre-loader settings will be shown.

Hi. I’m interested to buy this theme, but you guys didn’t update this theme…I see in comments you’re planning to update since at least one year ago, any plans to do it for real?

The theme will for sure be updated but you should know that it will work on the latest version of WP. Of course once theme update is released it will be added to the changelog.

How do you change the font size of the titiles for an album. The font size is too big and will cut words in half and add them to second line. What is a solution for this?! I submitted a ticket and have not had a response yet.

Hi. I’m wondering if another update is on the way. I’m a little frustrated right now. I bought the theme back in September but hadn’t had time to work on the new site. So, of course, now that my support has expired I find that the theme doesn’t work as expected. All imported pages are blank. But it’s only the Micdrop theme I’m having this issue with. When I switch to other themes, I can see some of the imported elements and menu items.

I’ve read your documentation. I’ve updated to the latest parent and child versions. I’ve made sure that my site has all proper PHP resources allocated. I’ve tried the regular import after theme registration. I’ve also tried importing with the XML file. Nothing is working. Since I have no other options and it seems like a bug right now, I’m wondering if you have another update on the way.

Thank you for reaching us!

The theme will be updated, however, at the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out.

Could you please let us know which PHP version are you using? If you are using PHP 8.1 please note that we haven’t tested the theme with this version yet. We recommend using the theme with PHP 8.0 or PHP 7.4.

Also, please navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins and check if all of the plugins are also updated. It is important to also update Qode Framework and Micdrop Core plugin once the theme is updated, and the plugins with available update will be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I’m using PHP 8.2. All plugins were updated and any plugins not recommended by the theme were disabled.

I did more testing. The issue seems to be happening at whatever point the Elementor pages are imported. I erased and imported the content several more times, including individual sections. Both using the regular importer and the XML import. Even though my site has plenty of resources allotted and I have a fast connection, only the individual select imports upload without interruption.

Regardless of import method, when ever Elementor pages are imported is when the site loses functionality and can’t be recovered. At that point, only background color is visible. Menus, sections, and text all disappear. I’ve tried importing both with Elementor disabled and activated. The content has no trouble displaying if I install other themes.

I imagine this can’t be fixed overnight. ‘ll switch to a different theme for this project. I thank you for having responded.

Please try using PHP 8.0 or PHP 7.4. The theme hasn’t been tested yet with PHP 8.1+.

In the Album section, album images disappear before player moves. I have tried replacing the images, but same happens. Image is displayed initially, but then before it moves to the next album – ALL album art and the record images disappear. All you see is the artist name. Disable lazy load plugin had no effect

This could be due to the lazy loading feature for images added in WordPress 5.5 version. Please try installing the Disable Lazy Load plugin.
