Thanks for the response, After further investigation it seems that it won’t let you insert a page submenu into an inner row. It works on a standard row. Also there is a gap between the top of the global section and the rest of the page content when the the global section is set as a footer. Is there a way ti remove this?

Yes, a page submenu can not be placed into an inner row.
In regards to the gap that you’re seeing—if you’re already using the latest version of Salient (15.0.8), can you please share the page URL so that I can take a look?

Unfortunately there’s no built-in option for that—it would require custom CSS as of now, but targeting the individual pins for those kind of rules would be tedious, depending on how many different pins you were looking to swap images for.

Hey—have you verified that you also have not explicitly specified a height for the page header within that same metabox? Also, make sure that thee header type is set to the default (Image background) if you’re not supplying a video. It appears that you may have the video type selected with no video assigned.

hello, I added the Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder, but there seems to be an issue when trying to view what the add-on will look like while in edit mode. I can’t really see what I am doing until I get out of edit mode completely.
Is there something I am doing wrong? Is this add-on not compatible with your theme?

There is a bug with global sections located at footer (after content): some elements like Fancy Unordered Lists lost their styles.
Another bug is that a paragraph is created just before the global section at footer

Hey 01DA, checking your source code it appears that some extra HTML exists in your unordered list items that is not apart of the theme. If you’ve copied/pasted the text links into that section, it’s possible stray HTML came with it from the source. Try to edit your Fancy Unordered List element and verify that the HTML looks like the following when viewed from the “Text” tab: https://ibb.co/w4Ft4Sx

The “Mouse Follow” effect is already coded in such a way as to take advantage of all available techniques for high-performance rendering. Okay it seemingly randomly started working on my test site but still not working on my production site. Things that might have affected it: using the backend editor vs the the front end. Different PHP versions 7.4 vs 8.0. I’ll post back here if I figure anything out.
Never mind, I’m an idiot. I was loading an mp4 in the “WebM File” section, which doesn’t cause an issue on desktop, but breaks it on iphone.

Tried all the options but I want them to be solid orange and some some hover effect. All the regular options aren’t solid. Any idea?

The color should be set to your desired global color in order to display that button shortcode in a solid color. e.g.
[button color="accent-color" ...]
Instead of
[button color=”see-through-2” ...]
However, I would recommend using the current element set instead of the legacy button shortcode. I.e the “Button” or “Call to action” page builder elements. They both provide many more options to effects and styles:

it was more easy when accent-color was working and not giving some random color without any text. Now using normal buttons as u said but on mobile they are not next to each other. Thats why I want to keep the shortcode. Also style is different. ‘So shortcode is an available option so why does it not work?

The available default footer column layouts are located in the Salient options panel > footer tab. There’s no option to add a global section to that location yet, but there will be in future updates
As of now, you would need to modify that section via your child theme, depending on what you want to do.

Of all modern browsers, Firefox doesn’t support the :has selector yet, so it might require JavaScript instead of pure CSS to trigger that rule in that browser.
