Hi, I am using Superflick since 2019 for a videos website. Since last update, video opener is not working well, when clicked, the video plays in thumbnail at footer. How to repare it ?

This was a known issue that was fixed a while ago. Be sure that the theme and all plugins are up-to-date and that you don’t have the old Wolf Gram plugin activated.

I am trying to import the REVSLIDER zip file but I get the error message “zip files contain illegal files” and I am unable to import.
I just downloaded the demo content and then attempted to manually add the slider.
How can I add the zip file?

Hello again, on mobile devices the Main Home Hero slider animation with the actors names above the title of the film is not visable. Only the title, directed by, and Play trailer. When a mobile phone is turned horizontal you can see the actor’s names but they are bunched together. Please explain how to make the names visable in portrait mode and then stay constant when if the user happens to turn their phone horizontal. Thank you.

To make the actors’ names visible in portrait mode on mobile devices and ensure they display consistently when the device is rotated, you’ll need to adjust the responsive settings for the actors’ names layer in Slider Revolution:
Open the Slider Revolution editor for your Main Home Hero slider. Select the layer that contains the actors’ names.
In the Layer General Parameters panel, use the device icons (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile) to toggle the layer’s visibility for each device type. Make sure the layer is set to be visible on both mobile portrait and landscape views.
Switch to the responsive view for each device and orientation. Adjust the position, size, and alignment of the actors’ names layer as needed to prevent them from overlapping or bunching together.

1. Are you able to videos from other sources besides YouTube? (Vimeo, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
2. Do you have to upload a cover photo for videos or will the theme automatically pull in the cover photo that is on the video?

Thanks for your interest in Superflick! The video gallery supports YouTube, Vimeo, and self-hosted video (MP4). The theme includes a Video Thumbnail generator that generates thumbnails from YouTube and Vimeo videos so you can use it as a video cover.

I’ve been trying to update Slider Revolution with the theme updates, but it won’t update.
When I go to download the package directly from my Envato/Themeforest account, the theme purchase does not appear in my history.
Am I doing something wrong?

Most of our themes include premium plugins such as WPBakery Page Builder or Slider revolution.
You don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration.
Any time the plugin is updated, you will find the latest version of the plugin in the includes/admin/plugins or config/plugins folder of the theme. (how to update premium plugins)

Hello I purchased a separate licence for WP Bakery Builder, I deactivated all the plugins, updated core wordpress latest stable version, and tried to upgrade to PHP 8 again, when reactivating WP Bakery Builder, we got critical error again. I suggest disabling the PHP debug message on your server on your live website though.

Hi, I just called my provider and tried to disable the PHP debug message but it doesn’t make any difference. When will the update happen? I’ve been paying support for PHP 7.4 for over a year now and it’s becoming very expensive. Thank you very much for your help.
Oh OK, I see. PHP 7.4 is deprecated now, that’s probably why you see these error messages.
I suggest updating to PHP 8.0+ and the debug message should go away.

For some reason, my mobile menu on my one-page website has disappeared. The menu on my laptop is fine, not my phone. When I switch the menu to “off canvas” for all… still not there. Just to clarify… the menu is there, there is just ZERO TEXT OR MENU LINKS. Any ideas? Thank you!

Hello, I did it because there was not SUPERFILCK category at the moment I’ve submitted a ticket.
It is a pity your lack of proper support not even reading the ticket properly and accusing that my review was UNFAIRLY POOR…First of all, It was not unfairly. It is the truth.
Second, I NEVER gave you this credentials ‘WEB’ as user to Siteground. I gave you my ADMIN credentials in WP which is not that the user. IF you had asked for HOSTING CREDENTIALS I would give you properly, BUT YOU DO NOT NEED HOSTING ACCESS to deal with BUGS IN YOUR THEME. as per your colleague answered that I cannot change the settings of the VIDEO plugin because I would not have ADMIN privileges. Why don’t you instead of asking for apologies, do not read properly the ticket?
Mr. HUNG writes that ” strive to provide excellent service to our customers” and not even try to fix the issues, going straight to ‘ask for refund and change rating’ As per all other tickets I read, your main concern is RATING, even tough, you properly help unexperienced users, for their demands are really basic. Shame on you!

Since last update, I cannot replace photos or add photos on rows on a page with wpbakery page builder. When clicking X to discard a photo, nothing happens.

Is it a common issue for fullscreen video on the main page to show a black screen on certain resolutions? On a 4K display it loads OK but on laptop screens it shows a black screen. If scroll down on next page and then up, it works well. Thank you.

There is no known issue about this, be sure that the theme and all plugins are up-to-date. Videos should be displayed on all screens. Please upload a image fallback for your video and see if it is displayed.
I recommend using self hosted video for video backgrounds.
In previous versions of the theme, videos was not shown on mobile and replaced but the fallback image, but now it should be displayed.

And yes, you can use a one-page menu with or without the dots navigation.
