Responsive Image Scaling on iOS Safari and Firefox
I think we’ve found a bug: If you put an image into the “Section Parallax Settings” and set the background image to “fixed” and “cover” the image will not be scaled responsively on iOS Safari and Firefox. Will there be a fix in the next update?

What is the latest version of this theme? I am trying to work on a site which seems very clunky and old, and I’m guesing the theme is out of date as many “united” branded plugins are as well.

I installed this theme quite some time back and on version Brooklyn 2.8 and Installed one of Demo sites at the time. It doesn’t have latest theme updates. If I was to install to latest theme updates would site be functional? Or would it need to be remade? Thank you for advice.

this particular demo has no slider, its a video hero in this case. You can define that type when editing the page and then check the Hero Type tab of Brooklyn Metapanel beneath the editor.

Hello, our website http://www.j-saoutchik.com/ doesn’t seem to work with PHP 8.0 and above. What can we do to make it work? We installed the latest version of the theme, wordpress and plugins are updated. We also did troubleshoot the plugins one by one but none of it seems to make a difference. are you using any cache plugins? In this case please purge their caches first and test the result with a hard refresh or in a private tab. If you don’t have a cache plugin, please check if the front page for example has a custom configration overwriting the global setting. Edit the page, scroll down below the editor and check th Header and Navigation Settings for that page.

I’ve read through the comments and I’m trying to better understand how the Brooklyn theme can integrate with Elementor. I’ve activated Elementor in the theme and now I can see actual code on the pages of the site.
So when you say Elementor cannot work with existing content, are you saying that Elementor does not work with template pages in the theme? In other words, you’d have to create new pages from scratch with Elementor??

Suggestions to fix this: Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

thats a Style 7 Section Header with a custom heading module above it. The Text beneath is the lead part of the section title followed by a button module.

How do I make the logo bigger in both the header/menu and sticky menu?

there is an option in Theme Options > Header > Header and Navigation > Logo Max Height which can be used. But this is only a max height, the logo aspect ratio can affect the total height.

I’d like to install theme (I’ve purchased) on localhost for creating new site. Because the main site has many pages to change. My goal is then to complete it by migrating. During this time, the main site will not remain closed.

yes from license perspective this is possible. At least you can check the status of the license here: my.unitedthemes.com/my-licenses/ – other than that – the migration itself should not be an issue. The only thing you should avoid is exchanging the old site url with the new site URL with a single SQL command. Because this can damage serialized arrays. See: https://knowledgebase.unitedthemes.com/docs/manual-migration-of-a-wordpress-site/ or use a migration plugin here.
