The other fields have (column-like) float on them so you should also float your new ACF field like that. Example CSS that you can add via Appearance > Custom Code:

I’m using the “Contact Form 1” in my site and it currently causes my site to load very slowly, because a request to “https://themes.freshface.net/ark/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/10-1.jpg” responds with a 522 after 15s.
Apparently this resource is set as background for the form. Please fix.

Where can I find the demos? I see you talk about it, but no actual demos for one to review before purchase? I did already buy, but want to see how the demos look before i do the one click and then have to start over if I do not like? Thanks

The online demos are being redone now so you can’t take a look at the moment. You could use a localhost server on your machine to install multiple websites by the way. The preferred way with Ark is to actually not use any demos at all and just build what you need, the editor is very flexible and already contains all the demo content you mentioned broken into little “sections”, which you can just stack under each other as needed in a few minutes. This feature is called “Section Library” and you can access it with one of these buttons at the bottom of the editor. Importing full demo content usually presents more work for you because you need to remove all the content you do not like everywhere and there is usually much more content imported that way than one needs for their website. Just try it and should you have any questions it’s best to reach support directly using the form here (link).

Hi, after I update the plugin and update my php to 8.0, it break some of my page. I suspect it will break the page that contain video. I had been using this plugin for 3 years. Is there any fix for this?

Please search through the other comments for “HSTS”, it will explain a bug happening directly in your own browser (which is most likely Chrome) and offer some workarounds. This will not affect your own site, it is not related to the Ark theme at all. Other than that there is nothing to worry about. Should you need anything, you can always reach out for support.

I’m interested in the theme.
Would be be difficult to make a Casino affiliate website with The Ark?
Basically there are 3 things I’m after in a theme:
1. Listing Casinos in a grid with page navigation after 30 Casinos is displayed. 2. A simple review page for all Casinos. 3. A review and rating system.

Yes, you can build pretty much anything with Ark, you would need some specific plugins for the review/rating system. That plus ACF and Custom Post Type UI plugins are recommended to build out the content types beyond native WordPress (which are only Posts and Pages). ACF is already included for free in Ark and the CPT UI plugin is free from the WordPress plugin repository.

Would be great if it was possible to test it before buying, as it’s always a risk when you buy something untested that it sometimes ends up not being what you had anticipated.
I will spend some time checking the demos and reading a bit more about it, then I’ll take my decision. Do you have a refund policy in case It’s not suitable for my project, or in case I don’t like using it?

I have updated to the latest version and I will deactivate the Google Fonts. But the font looks in the frontend in Firefox thinner and in Safari bolder. What I can do to make the Fonts looks similar to the Font when enable Google Fonts in the Settings.
I have also the Problem with ACF. I updatet directly to the Version 1.66 and I cant find the ACF Plugin.

Ark 1.65.0 should already include the latest ACF which is 6.0.7. Updates for these bundled plugins can be found under “Appearance > Install Plugins”. Please confirm.

Try going to WP-admin > Plugins, deactivate and then delete the ACF plugin. Then try to install it again from WP-admin > Appearance > Install Plugins.

That is a WordPress core bug, you can follow it’s status here: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/56612 As long as they fix it by the time PHP 9 is released then it’s safe to ignore.
You can suppress the frontend notice if you set WP_DEBUG to false in your wp-config.php file.

BUG: I’ve updated my website using the automated facility that comes with the theme. However it has broken the site. I’ve disabled all of the site plugins and reactivated them incrementally and it appears to be an issue with the Fresh Framework plugin specifically? I’ve not updated in a while. I was originally on 1.63.0.

It is a bug in Chrome and some other systems HSTS implementation. Either flush your HSTS rules in Chrome or use Firefox which seems to have a much better implementation. A workaround is being worked on currently.

Can Freshizer resize webp image?

Not really because it is not widely supported on various hostings. You would need PHP compiled with webp support and also GD extension that is new enough to handle the alpha channel (if you need it) otherwise you get black instead of transparency and a lot of hostings run the older versions unfortunately. But from the Ark side it will be supported in the next version as per your request, although the server requirements outlined above still stand. If you need it right now, please contact support for the new code. A good alternative would be to use a 3rd party service to serve your images so definitely look into that as well.

Update: New Ark version 1.66.0 was released today, it includes the requested webp support, including transparency. Make sure your hosting supports it though.
