Soho Hotel allows you to list and book hotel rooms, and also supports multiple hotels. But it isn’t a system like Airbnb where users can sign up and list their own hotels and rooms. It also would not be suitable as a flight booking system.

It took me 12 hours to figure out that `Soho Hotel Translation` is interfering with the rest of the stuff and if you have it active on latest php versions, the booking doesn’t work.

Version 4.2.1 of Soho Hotel is definitely compatible with PHP 8.
The problem is probably with another plugin you’re running, try deactivating all plugins leaving only the Soho Hotel plugins.

I have an issue regarding the calendar of the cabin. I have a whole cabin (meaning a single room) and on its page, when i am trying to select some dates, after i press the “Book” button, it sends me back to the homepage. also, when i manually make a booking in the administrator page, it doesn’t show any X on the calendar Page.

Hi. I was currently assigned to fix some issues on the website which is apparently using your theme. The only thing that was giving me headaches was your iCal sync process.
After troubleshooting overbooking issues reported by my client, i found out that during iCal sync, function removes all recent bookings and imports them back. Quite bad solution if you ask me. As a result of this, while having multiple rooms all booking data gets deleted at first which causes rooms to become available.
Potential client visiting the website during cron job will be able to book a room which hasn’t yet been synced.
The easiest workaround to this would be separate import links for each room. You could then set separate cron jobs in different intervals instead of having one which depending on amount of rooms can take few minutes as it takes for my client.
Do you plan to introduce such feature in future or perhaps you have some thoughts on temporary edits without rewriting majority of the code?

1.) I found out that during iCal sync, function removes all recent bookings and imports them back. Quite bad solution if you ask me: This is the only way to safely import iCal bookings, because in the iCal file from AirBnb, Booking.com, or anywhere else, each booking in the file does not have a unique ID, so it’s impossible to know which booking already exists in the system and which needs to be imported. Yes you have the date and room type, but this is absolutely not a clear indicator that it’s the same booking since it’s very common that the same room could be booked for the same dates by a different guest, and then we don’t know if we’re importing a new booking or the same booking, so that’s why all the iCal bookings need to be deleted before being re-imported. If you have any better solution you want to suggest though please feel free to do so, I would happily implement it if it worked
2.) As a result of this, while having multiple rooms all booking data gets deleted at first which causes rooms to become available: Yes technically the blocked rooms are available for about 1 second, once per hour, but the probability of this actually causing a double booking is close to zero, I’ve never had any customer ever encounter this problem

The problem point is that no unique booking ID is provided in the iCal file by Airbnb, booking.com, and there’s nothing I can do about this, hence the solution I implemented
4.) I have a client with a bungalow and it is having 4 Rooms. He wants people to book individual rooms as well as the whole bungalow. In this case, if anyone books the whole bungalow, other people should be blocked from booking individual rooms for a given date(s). On the other hand, if someone booked a Room for a date(s), other people should block booking the whole bungalow (But the remaining rooms can be booked). Can I achieve this functionality? If not is there a workaround to do this? this is a presales question.

How do I apply a fixed discount per night for bookings of more than 10 nights? I don’t see the option on the dashboard
Now, we would like to sync the bookings with the Airbnb calendar. Currently the website is closed and no bookings, would I just have to import the iCal feeds?

Hi, We have a few questions to understand if Soho is right for us: - is it a plugin or a template? - can it be used in addition to another template, just to manage the booking of some “services”?
Our website will present experience packages, not accommodations, some of these will include a Contact Form for information requests only, others for direct booking/purchase by the user. We would like to manage the first ones with another Tempalte. Would the latter be compatible with a Booking system like your Soho, hence the initial question, on the same website/domain?

1.) Is it a plugin or a template? Both, Soho Hotel is primarily a theme, but a custom booking plugin and language translation plugin are also included in the package. It’s basically an all in one solution
2.) can it be used in addition to another template, just to manage the booking of some “services”? No you can’t use the Soho Hotel Booking system with a different theme
3.) Our website will present experience packages, not accommodations: The booking system can handle any type of over night booking, “accommodation” is just the default name for the units you’re selling, if your “experience packages” are overnight experiences the system will work fine to book these
4.) some of these will include a Contact Form for information requests only: Soho Hotel includes a direct email contact form if you don’t want to use the booking system / availability checker
5.) others for direct booking/purchase by the user: Also possible, the theme uses WooCommerce to process payments so all major payment options available
6.) We would like to manage the first ones with another Tempalte: You can’t use Soho Hotel with other themes, but for the “first one” you mean you want a regular email contact form only? I think all themes are able to do this already so need to use Soho Hotel for this. Just setup the separate template with an email contact form and you’re good to go. Or setup Soho Hotel with an email contact form, both options will work fine

I tried the demo website and got confused
here is what I found.
1) The website loading (is on) for longer than usual? is there a way to disable that loading screen, instead we can show the page which is loading (one by one block)
2) I tried to select the Deluxe Queen Room (full board) 9 times (ie., the total room stock is 9) and when I see the result I get a message like the below:
Deluxe Queen Room Conditions – This room is fully booked for the selected dates.
But the room is not yet booked completely.
Let’s assume, when there is a room of 1 quantity (in my case) is then if a user selects the room, and if that says, something like that
Room Conditions – This room is fully booked for the selected dates.
Then he might be in confusion whether the room is available or not. And Also he is missing the part that the room has been added to the section (or like the cart)
(Also if the room is already booked, then displaying that message straight away when a user saw the search result with that room condition message/notification would mean right)
Is there any solution for point (2)?
Possible solution:
Trying to notify the user that the room has been added to the cart (and navigating directly to that section) via a scroll to that section of CSS and highlight the box with something fancy color (red) where it normally fades in 5 sec to white.
Trying to change the room conditions based on these use case:
1) Room is booked 2) Room is not booked (but the user just initiated and selected the room) 3) Room is not booked (but the user has started the payment process)
There could be other solutions as well.
Kindly let me know this so that I could make a purchase.

1.) It’s just a standard JavaScript loader, when the web page finishes loading the loader disappears, it’s as simple as that. It’s easy enough to remove the JavaScript loader if you want to though.
2.) This has already been resolved in an update, now if you select a room up to it’s max quantity, the room will disappear from the booking process and not be selectable any more (note the demo website has not been updated yet)

1.) is there any way to move booking details data from booking section to google sheet: You can export booking data in iCal format (.ics) which is compatible with Google Calendar, or any calendar apps such as the “Calendar” app on Mac or Windows
2.) Also i want to know is there any way to enable whatsapp notification to user via api request? Sorry no there isn’t, the booking system notifies customers via email only. I guess you could setup an email to Whatsapp forwarder but you’d need to find this and set it up yourself

You can list rooms from multiple hotels, but the theme does not work like Airbnb. Users cannot sign up and list their own hotel, and it’s not possible to make payments to different hotels separately.
