Hello, I am looking at your magnificent template before purchasing it and I wanted to ask you for some information : I watched the entire tutorial and I see that it works with WP Bakery, but that it is also compatible with elementor. I wanted to know if you mean that you will have to install both ? Because many say it creates bugs and very long loading time. What if I can only use elementor, we don’t have any help documentation for that, or where i can find ? Because some changes still seem a little complex when I look at those made on wp bakery (i’m not used at wp bakery), and I don’t really know where to go in elementor. The theme is compatible with Elementor and once you install the theme you can import Elementor demo content. Once you pick a page builder you wish to use, you should stick to that plugin and make sure that the other one is Deactivated. Having both page builders installed and activated at the same time can have a significant impact on your website speed and overall performance. So, if you plan on using Elementor you shouldn’t install or activate WPBakery page builder.
There isn’t a video tutorial for Elementor, however, the Elementor shortcodes have the same options as the WPBakery shortcodes, so the options covered in the video tutorial are also available with Elementor.

I really like your product, this as well as the Wanderland-theme to use for my travel blog. I’m a little afraid because of those many bad reviews in the usage and transformation of the theme, but I hope to be able to customize it to my liking.
I have two major questions: First is: Is this theme optimized for Elementor? Or how can I customize all the elements, pages etc.? Second is: I have an existing travel blog for 15 years now, with thousands of posts, and am afraid that uploading the theme will delete/change all my existing posts. You can check my blog here: www.absolute-brightside.de – it’s just wordpress based so far, no usage of Elementor until now.
Is there a possibility to test the theme before applying it to my blog?

Unfortunately trial periods or testing environments are not available as options.
The theme is compatible with Elementor and there is an option to import Elementor demo.
We usually recommend installing the theme and importing the demo on a clean installation. You can import it over your existing content, however, then we would recommend you to always make a backup of your existing content as it might happen that your content will get overwritten sometimes.

The theme will be updated, however, at the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out.
Current version of the theme should work correctly with the latest version of WPBakery. If you are using PHP 8.1 please note that we haven’t tested the theme with this version yet. We recommend using the theme with PHP 8.0 or PHP 7.4.

When does a new update come? Because also PHP 7.4 is over, it’s only 8.0 or above.
And there is a 6.4 major release coming. We all can wait a week, but not longer. This theme has to be updated and with a big one.
Because also the author box can deleted on blog, but not on pages & destination pages. Really? I know how to do that with CSS, but it has not to be done with CSS.

The theme can be used with PHP 7.4, backward compatibility is also an option, but if you want to use PHP 8.0 you can as this was added in the updates, please see change log.
We cannot update the theme to add compatibility for WordPress version which hasn’t been released yet, however, we can confirm that the current version listed in changelog is compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

The Google api code is visible in the pages’ source code. This is bad as it should not be shared with anyone and can be used wrong.

Have you perhaps installed the theme on a site which was built with some different theme and has existing content? We usually recommend installing the theme and importing the demo on a clean installation.
Also, if you are using PHP 8.1+ please note that we haven’t tested the theme with this version yet. We recommend using the theme with PHP 8.0 or PHP 7.4.

In the documentation it says you can translate the theme by editing the theme folder/languages/en_US.po file. This file doesn’t exist (anymore?) and the only file in the language folder is .pot. This file doens’t have majority of the strings I would like to translate.

The documentation doesn’t answer my questions. And the tickets that I wrote to your support are still not answered, more than a day has passed. The questions are simple, The fact that in any other topic is solved by default. For example, setting the sorting of the blog category in the block, or editing the header zone. There is no access to the widget settings, an error is displayed everywhere.

Note that when you place your ticket, it is listed among our tickets according to age. Then when you answer that same ticket again before we manage to give you an answer, we only see the time of your last reply, and that ticket is then found among the newest tickets.
