how does the person register their property, does someone book and pay through the site? and I keep the commission on top of the reservation? how does your script work

Register is a free process. You can register on any demo to see a live example.
Users send booking requests from the booking form.
Booking in WpRentals is an online process.
We have 2 options:
1. Instant booking
User sends request -> He is prompted to login -> He must pay the invoice (deposit) if that is set in admin and booking is confirmed if payment confirms. If deposit is 0, booking is confirmed without any payment.

In demo1 we activated a deposit which must be paid. We also activated Woo Commerce payments (to process through other merchants if theme included merchants are not enough. Theme included merchants are PayPal and Wire Transfer)

2. Send booking and owner approves or rejects the request
User sends request (after he logins) -> Owner approves or Rejects the request -> If the request is approved user must pay the invoice (deposit) if that is enabled and booking is confirmed OR if deposit is 0, booking is confirmed when owner approves the request. Money goes to admin always.
After a booking is confirmed, owner can cancel a confirmed request at any time.
WPRentals can be used for multi owners or single (specific owners). If you allow it as admin, people register to add listings for rent and users register to send booking requests to property owners, similar to airbnb or homeaway.
The theme is designed for users to book properties between each other, and admin not to interfere (we have different options as you can see in demo)
The booking requires users register so as admin you have access to see who booked what, but you don’t need to interfere in the booking approval process (bookings can be approved by owner only – with his manual approval, if he doesn’t enable instant booking or with his approval, if instant booking is disabled).
As the admin you can ask for a deposit and a service fee (these can be the same value if you wish to take as a deposit just your service fee) in % or fixed value, and this value is deducted from the total booking. As the admin, you can choose if you wish to include in this deposit the cleaning and city fee or not. If you ask for a 100% deposit, the fees are automatically included.
The user will need to pay that deposit in order for the booking to be confirmed (even if the owner approves the booking request).
The money goes to the admin. The difference will be paid by the user to owner outside the theme (we have the option to pay the remaining value in the theme, but the money goes still to admin, so if you don’t wish that to exist, we can show you how to hide with CSS).
At the moment payment to owner cannot be done in the theme. We’re not sure if in the future we will be able to extend this functionality. If you make a decision please consider only the existing features.

Hello Marian, Thank you for the comment. The login modal cannot be replaced. You can change the image in the modal – https://prnt.sc/yAG8mqt9Q3R4 , you can add mobile in register and you can replace type password so users get the pass by email.

About 1st question – the booking becomes confirmed when deposit is paid. Remaining balanced payment is not mandatory through the theme.
About 2nd question – a new account sends user an email. Admin can add duplicate email to get a duplication of all emails sent, including new user. https://help.wprentals.org/article/duplicate-email/ ]

Dear developer, If you set a fee to be paid with the booking and use Woocommerce Payments, then there is no notification that you only pay the down payment. Is there a option to show it on the checkout page and cart when you for example pay 500 of the 500 €?

Hi itsame, You can see the remaining balance in user dashboard or before going to pay, in the booking form total info. The order – when you start to pay – will only read the value that must be paid.

Hello there,
I have some questions.
Is it possible to send the invoice and payment link the mail after the owner accepts the booked date and sends invoice? (now the email says: check your account on the page. It does not include the invoice in the mail).
The advanced search only shows the properties that have exact the same max guest number as the searches for. If i want to book for like 4 persons, but i only have properties for 2 persons it doesnt show anything. is it possible then to show 2 properties of 2 guests?

Oke thank you, and another question. I’ve translated the website with WPML and if i navigate to /my-reservations in the usermenu it works in every language except one (dutch). it looks like the url is broken, how can i fix this?

This is a good theme. How does admin manage payouts to rental owners? and the system auto deduct the host fee from the owner to admin?
Hello, Thank you for the interest in our theme. We do not support payment to owners. Payouts are not part of the theme functions. Money arrives in admin account if you set deposit required. Admin can take only his service fee with deposit, but payment to owner is not possible from admin account.

Pre-purchase question: When someone rents an item, before they pick the item up is it possible for owner/host of item to take photos of it and document/mark any existing damages? Likewise when the item is returned, the person that rented it and is returning it, post photos and complete their return? Is it possible using this theme? I loved the demo btw, keep up the good work.

Hello, I normally get a message of balance to be paid even after booking is confirmed and it still shows pay invoice in full.
Its a website with a single user which is the admin.

Hello, I have gone through your reply & i have crosschecked my work already. I discovered that when users sign up, they are automatically added as owners even when they have the subscriber role in the admin. I have also added my username as the only one that can submit property as advised here https://help.wprentals.org/article/use-wprentals-for-a-single-property-single-owner/ but still having the same issue
