Hi, is it possible to only use the theme for recruitment agents and employers ?Meaning no candidates involved.

Sure, you can disable the ‘candidates’ functionality

Do you have a bidding system currently?

Not yet, it’s still under development

I understand that woocommerce single product title display in two areas in the front-end. One on the Titlebar and the other above short description.

I want to do a little customization on the product title that display in the Titilebar, but i am having hard time locating the template to make my change.

Really funny to know there is still a template I cannot locate in a theme I have been using for about 5 years.

Please I will be grateful if you can point me to the right direction to this template.

Looking forward to your usual quick help on this.

Thanks

Hi

it’s actually just the workscout/woocommerce.php

Ah! It was that simple after-all, thanks for saving me of that unneeded wandering within the templates. Cheers!

Hi team,

Presale : Do you support Latin characters (könyvelés) in Searching and filtration queries ? If yes than could you share a sample how it works ?

I don’t have such example but I can assure you it will work

I am moving from a theme that I purchased to this theme, but my website is in Arabic. Please help me and find out if this theme is easy to be in Arabic

It’s not fully compatible with RTL, might require some CSS adjustments

Hello, does it support the Arabic language and also supports rtl

It’s not fully compatible with RTL, might require some CSS adjustments

Also, please update change log if you are updating the theme, we need to know what got changed please.

We do update changelog if there are any bigger changes, those were just some maintenance fixes, nothing new in terms of functionality or nothing serious fixed

Please let me know if I will have to purchase these plugins WP Job Manager – Alerts, WP Job Manager – Applications, WP Job Manager – Resume Manager and WP Job Manager – WooCommerce Paid Listings separately

Hi

yes, if you want to have access to updates for those plugins and direct support from WPJM you should buy the Core add-ons https://wpjobmanager.com/core-add-ons/

I am trying to translate the theme but there is some specific parts that I cannot translate them. For example the “Submit Job” and “Manage Companies” text on the employers panel. Please check here https://ibb.co/tHXy5pp.

Which file do I have to edit in order to change this?

Thank you!

Hi

try to click Sync button in LocoTranslate when you translate WorkScout theme, make also sure you translated all the plugins

Hi admin, What is updated in the latest theme for version 3.0.16 ? there is no change log for the updated version as to what is included or what bugs are fixed

Hi

but it doesn’t load all 200k at once, it will show you first XX listings, not sure how else would it work

No, it shows per page results is what you are referring, 50/25/100 jobs per page and than load more or turn to page 2, but if there are around 500K jobs inside database, 200K of them are of nurse jobs, it takes a lot of time to load those jobs, the jobs found shows 200K jobs so i am guessing it goes through all the data inside the database while searching through ajax. How can we limit them so it searches first 500 entries only and than we click on load more jobs than it loads another 500 and like that?

Yes it does search all those 200k jobs, there’s no option to make it work like you want, at least I don’t see any simple way of doing that

why are some plugins not updating like WP Job Manager – Alerts, WP Job Manager – Applications, WP Job Manager – Resume Manager and WP Job Manager – WooCommerce Paid Listings

why license now and all those days I have been updating via the WorkScout theme

we never provided updates for that via the theme

Meaning you will never provide that in future

Hi Support, I want the unregistered employer to post a job post and register during or after.

These two settings don’t work for me: Inactive: “Account required Need an account to submit bids Restricts the submission of job offers to registered, logged-in users.”

Active: “Account creation Enable account creation during submission Includes account creation on list submission form to allow non-registered users to create an account and submit a job at the same time.”

Why does the employer still have to register or log in first when he wants to post a job post? He should only login or register at the very end.

Thank you!

You have to change the Page Template of Post a Job page to Default page instead of “Dashboard Page”, if it has Dashboard page it will always ask for login first

Is there any shortcode that allows us to display only remote jobs on a landing page? I used remote_position=”true” but it doesn’t seem to work.

I’ll push update today that will add this option

Hi team, what’s that new Task feature on the employers’ dashboard?

I’m sorry, it’s something that shouldn’t be released yet, I’ll push update fixing that asap, it’s some new feature we’re working on but that piece of code by mistake was pushed to production version

Ok, thanks!

Hi, is it able add the salary filter on homepage search form? thanks

I replied to your ticket

I like your theme. Can I use it to implement a volunteer and organisation matching platform ? That does mean that I would like to remove the “rate/h ” field. Kindly advise me if your theme can be customized to work as such. then I can buy it. Thank you.

Hi, sure, you can disable that field and filter in options, but I don’t know what else would you need to have customized

Pre Sale Questions

A. Does your theme support:

1. Users signing up to job alert emails 2. WooCommerce Paid Listing Packages 3. Bookmarking/favouriting of jobs by users 4. Applications via a form and employers viewing the applications via a dashboard

without having to pay a yearly subscription for the WP Job Manager add ons?

B. Does your theme create location specific pages (eg www.jobsite.com/london ) based on the location of job postings as they get added by employers?

C. Does your theme automatically structure each job listing so it qualifies for Google JobPosting schema?

Thanks again for the quick reply.

Just so I’m clear – I’d be able to use the WP Job Manager add ons mentioned in my first comment but if I want to update them (either automatically or manually) I’d need to purchase the subscription from them?

Yes, we encourage users to buy the WPJM subscription

Thank you

Hello, great theme, thank you. Is there any way to edit which categories show from both the (#1) homepage category dropdown, and the (#2) sidebar filter dropdown? Ours is showing empty and “temp” categories from behind the scenes, but we only want it to show a handful of permanent, live categories that are populated with posts.

Thank you!

Hi

thanks, in /plugins/workscout-core/templates/sidebar-jobs.php line 169 or 188 change in ‘hide_empty’ => false, to true

Hello, I am building a website that can scrape and bring in third-party job listings while also providing promoted listings. Do you have an integrator with Indeed or other job search websites that could be used with your site?

Hi, no we don’t have anything like that.

1. I want to build a website where only the candidates are involved. They can view job postings and can apply. Job postings have to updated by the admin and admin can view the applicants. No employer is involved. Is that possible using this theme? Only Candidate dashboard is required. There should be no employer dashboard. While registering also there should be no option for employer signup.

2. Is it possible to ensure that candidate has uploaded resume before applying for jobs?

3. The data for candidates who have applied for each job can be exported as CSV or any other format?

Hi

ad1. Yes of course

ad2. Yes

ad3. Yes
