Unfortunately not. The WPBakery dependencies were removed gradually since the composer was introduced. Everything related to the demos and the cloud templates is possible only through the composer. You can install a new demo, or import any cloud templates you want, but customizing them will require using the composer. Hi, just wanted to point out that the TagDiv composer doesn’t work well with Firefox. The tool bar on the left doesn’t show everything, you can’t see all the fields as they disappear or are hidden to the right of the bar and no way to resize the bar to show all the elements. The tool bar works perfectly on Google Chrome.

Hi there
I was just in for downloading the latest update and was wondering how to utilize the auto update in admin when theme and child theme are renamed to a different theme name. I am also still annoyed about the fact that you still mention “Newspaper” several times when viewing the sourcecode from front end and even the version of Newspaper. We pay for the script so why do you keep misusing your customers for advertising the Newspaper Theme in the sourcecode ?
I also still see alot of unneccesary code/styling in the front end sourcecode… I know you’ve updated Newspaper quite alot and alot of work goes into it but you can still do better I believe plus make the visible front end code a little more neutral/anonymous without any self emposed advertising !!!
That being said, I do also have some good feedback mainly for customers who questions the optimized speed of Newspaper.
I have alot of images and text on my front page but with a few tweak and twerks I can safely say that on Google Page Speed insight analysis I am quite happy that I have achieved the following results.
94 in Performance – 100 in Accessibility – 100 in Best Practice and 100 in SEO
First Contentful Paint – 0.8 s
Largest Contentful Paint – 0.9 s
Total Blocking Time – 0 ms
Cumulative Layout Shift – 0.022
Taking into account that I am using several plugins but with a few tweaks I am quite happy with the speed that can be achieved with Newspaper. So I can surely vouch for Newspaper being Lightning Fast !!!

It is normal for the theme name to appear in the source code, that’s the case for most themes usually. There are ways to rename the name of the theme and its plugins if needed, I believe there are plugins that can do that. It can be done manually as well. But there may be problems when updating, regardless of how it is done, unfortunately. Maybe using a plugin, and updating manually would be more futureproof, I haven’t tested this however.
On the other hand, the results that you have achieved for the website are quite nice. It can take a lot of work to optimize a website, and then there’s all the testing, but the results should be worth it.

Something must have happened with the website, maybe with the database. Is there a website backup that can be restored perhaps? If there is a backup, that should restore the website to how it was. There could also be indications for the cause of the issue in the error logs kept on the server. The hosting could check those. We are checking the problem. The issue you are having could be related to caching or a CDN. For example if you check the website like so https://www.roundnews24.com/?test the latest content is displayed.

When i am importing TECH NEWS PRO it deletes my few of my own categories (business, entertainment, technology, featured, lifestyle). I tried changing the categories and slugs also still after importing its deleting my categories and assigning the posts to uncategorized. What kind of issue is this?

If you choose to install a pre-built website with content, do not edit the content and use it as your site content! The pre-built website content will get removed when uninstalling the theme or switching pre-built websites. If you want to keep the content as your own, please create a copy of the page and use the copy as your content.

That’s not the issue. I saw when importing any prebuilt template it’s removing old categories and moving the old contents to uncategorized (business, entertainment, technology, featured, lifestyle) which is a theme issue. You should look to resolve this issue. Rather it should keep both the old contents and categories intact like other themes.

Installing a demo does not remove the content created by you. But it will remove everything that belonged to a previously installed demo. Renaming the categories won’t matter, they will still get removed if the categories were provided by the demo. It is how it is supposed to work. There are ways around this however, like not installing a demo, and importing the homepage and its templates manually from the cloud library. Categories were not created by your theme. Its created from a previous theme i was using JNews. But it seems to delete few of my categories when i was importing a template. But i tried with different theme it was not happening. So there is some problem with your demo importer. Look for the fix.

You could try plugins in the meantime. The plugin you mention seems to be for woocommerce, it may not work with the theme blocks. Hi, everytime when i update theme then it removes all the custom css and custom js codes from the theme panel options and also it removes all the changes i made to the theme files.

We are here, sorry for the delay. Changes made to theme files will indeed be lost after updating the theme. Updating presumes deleting the old theme and its plugins, and installing the new ones. That is what the automatic update method does, and also what is needed to do when updating manually.
However, loosing the theme panel is not supposed to happen. If it does, it means there is a problem. Have you maybe tried restoring the theme panel using the theme backup system? If so, you could try the manual update methods, it takes a few minutes https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
