Hi. I’m really lost with this new version of Udesign.. I come from 3.2.0 and now everything is changed.
Before i can find answers on the forum with existing threads, or Ask Andon, now i dont know where to find it…
i dont understand where i can make changes (templates, elementor, theme editor,...) its really hard.
i think i have communcation problems with Aizaz (english is not my native language)
where is Andon ?
I need to make my site looks like with the old version. who can help me ? I dont think there is a lot of modifications to do, but i cant find help…
If i hire someone (here ?) how much will it cost ? and will he tells me what changes he has done ? so i cant understand and do it myself if there is another big update…

The old version of the UDesign theme was very old compared to the latest themes with the latest technology, features, and coding standards. If we cannot update the theme so it will not work in the future and all of our customer’s sites will be lost. So we make the decision to update it with the latest technology, features, and coding standards we removed the old functionality like shortcodes and we added tons f new features in the theme so that customers don’t need any shortcodes and customization to make the site. Also, I can see that you are not using a page builder plugin to build your site. The latest version of the theme is fully compatible with the Elementor plugin it is the most famous and useable page builder plugin and super easy to use like drag and drop you can use this plugin to build your site using the latest version of the theme. It is my personal opinion for you not to update the theme for now and create a staging site of your current site then update the theme on it after that your site will appear with issues then fix all the issues on the staging site with the latest version and once you have done with it then make it live so that in the future whenever you need to update the theme you will never face any issue again. Otherwise don’t update the theme and use the old version so that your site will appear fine for a period of time. The choice is yours now.

Hi! I’m finally attempting to upgrade my website from 3.4.18 to the latest version using a local dev site (Laragon). It’s asking me to register with a valid license which I have, but will that disable my production website that’s still running the older version? Thanks.

Alright, In order to disable/remove the sticky add to cart from single product page. Simply go to the Dashboard >> UDESIGN >> Theme Options >> Custom CSS & JS and then paste the below code at the bottom of the CSS box.
.product-sticky-content.fixed{display:none !important;}
Then save settings and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

Hi, After many years of use with no issues, after a recent update the layout on my site has broken.
The site was made using “U-Design Shortcode Insert Button” and although that is still active, none of the short codes work and are outputting the code to the web pages – for example:
How can i get back this functionality?
I checked your online resources for this plugin and don’t find it.
Does this mean that sites made using this theme from before you added elementor no longer work?

Please try to disable all the third-party plugins on your site except Theme Required/Recommended plugins, and check back your site after clearing the browser cache, might be any additional/extra third party plugins conflicting on your site and creating that issue. If this will resolve your issue then again you have to activate all the third party plugins one by one and check which one is creating the issue on your site, and try to reach out to the Plugin Author for further help on this.
And if the issue will still persists then please remain all the third party plugins deactivated on your site and provide us the permission to debug your site which includes deactivating all the third party plugins and on site Customziation as well. We also request you to please share the site WP Admin URL and Credentials with us as well for further investigating the issue on your site via our support system.
Note: Please take the complete backup of your site before following the above steps as that might affect your site.

Hi, We already sent an email and sent a request trough your support system, but we did not get any answer. We have a problem with translating content with WPML.
In the blocks used from Elementor the text appears and can be translated in WPML, but the UDESIGN elementor blocks (like image box, Testimonials) does not appear at WPML.
Can you help with this, how they can be translated? It is urgent we are waiting now for 2 weeks to your help.

Actually, our theme supports the “Layout Builder” feature in which you can create/adjust the website page layout as per your need. Like if you want to set a page to full width or boxed, You want to add/change the header, footer, and sidebar of certain pages.
You can find this option in the Dashboard >> UDESIGN >> Layout Builder see the image: https://postimg.cc/p9sgrKGd
Now, let’s say you have an About Us page and you want to remove the header from this page and set the footer on this page.
To do this you will navigate to the layout builder feature and first check that is there any pre-build layout available for the about us page. If yes, you can make changes to it as per your need. But, if not then you will create a layout for the about us page.

Hi, when all the portfolio content is shown, is there a way to show only the categories I want ? It happens that if I try to insert Portfolio Categories from Elementor, I can not activate pagination since it does not have such option. Actually, By default on the portfolio archive page all the portfolios will appears by default. In order to activate the pagination you can use the “Post Grid” widget and the content source to portfolios then choose/set the layout as per your need see the image: https://postimg.cc/Lg1PWyxY

Looking to make a one-page based fitness/gym site with a floating menu that slides to each section on the single page. The main element we plan on leveraging is the portfolio. Yes, you can create a one-page site using our theme on your site easily.
You want Portfolio as the main base of your site, you have to design the page with Portfolio element as per your requirements, and then set sections ID’s and then you can set Sticky Navigation element and items to work on ID’s as simple as that.
