“Select what information you want to display” in Post Slider does NOT WORK correct. It shows images although its set on “Only Text and Description”

Sorry for the confusion. The Slide Content option in the Post Slider element is to display or hide the Title and Excerpt.
I asked our developers if it’d be possible to add an option to disable the image as well.
For now, please edit your Post Slider element, go to Advanced > Developer Settings > Custom CSS Class, give it a CSS class (“no-feat-post” in example below), and add the following code to the bottom of Quick CSS field in Enfold theme options > General Styling tab
.no-feat-post .slide-image { display: none; }

is there a way to hide the vimeo title, author and icon but keep the player controls when using the video widget?

Unfortunately, the Video element doesn’t have options to disable the title and author.
You can adjust the embed options, disable them ( https://i.imgur.com/614l5q4.png ), and use the embed code in the Code Block element.

i found the popup maker not working again after update to Enfold Version: 5.6.2 is there any friend can help me ?
Noticed v5.6 didn’t display the responsive elements correctly for mobile versions, missing backgrounds and buttons. I reverted back to 5.5 and all is perfect again and I’ll wait for the next update fix it.
Just a heads up. Test the update in a staging environment before your live site.

We cannot know that without seeing your site. 959px isn’t defined in Enfold’s CSS so it’s probably your custom CSS.

Bonjour, Je possède ce thème et je butte sur un problème. Sur mon site, la page d’accueil est une photo sombre en pleine page avec menu transparent. Sur le reste du site, le fond est blanc. J’essaye désespérément de trouver comment changer la couleur des liens du menu en blanc, mais seulement sur la page d’accueil (puisque sur les autres pages, je souhaite que les menus restent noirs). Sauriez vous m’aider s’il vous plaît ?

ALB Issue
When you had to fix something bigger on a page you usually could create a copy by pasting the content of ALB (if Avia debug mode was enabled) into a fresh page.
Now: All the HTML is visible now after doing so.
In backend/ALB: It looks correct: In Frontend: I see HTML-mode
Why dont you test your Theme before you publish?

Hi. In the theme demo, the magazine element shows a slight blurring of the main image when you hover. In my theme I get a round box with an arrow. How do I get it like the demo please? Thanks.

Hi – a new client is running a very old version of Enfold – 4.5.3 – and I see that it’s using the old way of using an Envato private token – will that still work?
Also what’s the likelihood of the site breaking after such an update?

I’m afraid it wouldn’t work. Please try using the Envato Market plugin (https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/) and check if you’ll receive the update.
We are making sure updates are backward compatible but to be on the safe side, please create a staging copy of your site and update the theme there.

If that doesn’t work, please start a thread on our support forum at https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold#new-post and attach temporary WP admin and FTP logins in private content field so we can look into it.

Are you entering your purchase code in Enfold theme options > Theme Update? If you are, you should insert a Personal Token instead. Please refer to this post https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token, generate a Personal Token and insert it in Enfold theme options > Theme Update instead.

Hi, I have an issue with mobile loading of www.dolcemedicina.it. Everything is fine on laptop browser, but on Chrome and Firefox for Android, the website is not loading at all… Please, don’t make me renew the support for this, thanks.

You may want to adjust the font sizes for the mobile portrait. To do that you can select your slide, go to Styling > Font Sizes and select the mobile portrait icon (https://i.imgur.com/iGr2RsX.png).

Did you optimize the images you use in your portfolio items? If not, please do so. Also, how many portfolio items are you displaying in your element? Does it make a difference if you choose to display fewer?

yes, images are optimized and lightweight. (it was much faster once and we did not change anything since then on images or portfolios content – so this cant be the reason)
It does not depend on the number of images used in a specific portfolio-element.
It does not depend on the number of portfolio-elements on the page. (Some pages contain 6 portfolioelements, some other pages only one or two).
But the speed is always the same – at least it does not make any recognizable difference

Hello, i am trying to validate my site for WCAG 2.0 Guidelines and i do not know how to solve this error:
Check 185: id attribute is not unique. Repair: Modify the id attribute value so it is unique. Error Line 501, Column 1:

If i change the name of the id in the body, all the styles goes down. Is there any option to solve this error?

The “top” ID of the body tag is heavily used in Enfold’s stylesheets, this is why changing it would break the styling. It looks like there’s another element with the “top” ID. Please locate it and change its ID instead.

Does your theme features a code where we can show a message “Event ended!” when a certain date/time is reached please? I can see you have a backward counter but no ways to setup a message and an end date. As an event my start today but finish tomorrow, so this message should only show on the end date. Do you have this in your theme please as it is such an important feature for many kind of sales online. Thank you

No, it doesn’t. However, I forwarded your “to display a custom message when the Animated Countdown element reaches the date” request to our developers.
The Events Calendar (https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/) which is compatible with Enfold, displays the “This event has passed.” message on past events. In case that works for you

The only problems with using a calendar is that if you only have 1 event per month and use an extern API like Fienta, you do not need a plugin to power your events, you can just build the blocked yourself. Having all the logic in big calendar plugins is very problematic. Most tech like Fienta come with their own iframes when you click on the event.
Enfold 5.3 is installed. Wordpress 6.2.
Problem: I can’t get it to run above PHP 5.6.
Any ideas?
I solved it. Had to disable the plugins first. Now it’s running on php 8.1.
