hi guys, help me please 
I noticed that when updating to (one of) the latest version, when the menu contracts on scrolling (Off Canvas Menu with the Header Layout “Menu Bottom Bar” alignment center), the menu icon and the ability to click it disappear. It worked before the update. Is there some new option to configure to be able to return to work as before? thanks!

There’s no way to make that change to the background layer on rows/columns without modifying the underlying template file. I would instead recommend using the ”Self Hosted Video Player” element configured to autoplay with controls enabled. It could be absolutely positioned behind your content to simulate a BG layer.

Hi ThemeNectar. We are trying with self hosted video player. But first of all, we only need audio button. We don’t need to visualize the other controls. Secondary we think site is little bit slow with video self hosted instead of vimeo. I think you could update theme with this function in the next future

Hi! Only 1 question: in video URL of the “video lightbox” What YouTube URL string should I put to upload the video at the highest resolution possible, like 180p? Because it loads a bit grainy and I wanted it to start at the maximum possible resolution. It can be done?

Unfortunately the Lightbox script doesn’t allow custom parameters to be passed into the URL, as it only gathers the video ID from the link provided to create the ultimate display. However, I’ve noted the idea on the wishlist

Loving the theme, however I’m pulling my hair on this one: why does the transparent header stay active even when I switched ‘Disable Transparency From Navigation’ on?
It’s only affecting some portfolio items, seems like a glitch as ‘force transparency’ is off as well. It’s causing some issues as the transparent header is overlaping the text

Hi, I’m interested in your theme for a car review/news site. I have a two questions before I buy though if that’s ok….
1. I will have several SINGLE images (not portfolio or slider) within each article (posts). Many of which will require a credit/attribution. Can each image automatically display its caption or description (from the media library fields) underneath the image or would this require a plugin or coding? (I’ve looked at all demos and can’t seem to find any examples of this).
2. In posts/articles is there a style/option to have the featured image size narrower so as to have the sidebar is alongside it? like this: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/volkswagen/id3/first-drives/volkswagen-id-3-2023-first-drive

1. The single image element does not have that functionality built in, but the image gallery element does.
2. There’s no single post header which places the featured image inside of the content area like that. However, it could be accomplished via a modification from the child theme.

I also had to code a lot of css to get the quick view buttons not scale over the product image, and there was no way to style this in the back-end?

1. It looks like you have two different lazy loading options enabled—one from within Salient and another from your performance (wp rocket) plugin. One of those will be need to be disabled to prevent compatibility issues with image loading.
2. If your products are running out of space in the carousel display with your chosen column number on smaller screen sizes to display properly, I would recommend switching your column number to “Dynamic” in the element settings.

Please ensure that you have the option “Lazy Load Page Builder Element Images” turned on in the Salient options > General Settings > Performance tab. That option is meant to be used in conjunction with the other WooCommerce specific “Lazy Load Shop Images” in The Salient options > WooCommerce > General tab. i.e. they should both be enabled or both disabled.

There’s no built-in way to trigger a filter via a URL when using the legacy “Portfolio” element. However, you can get that functionality if you switch to using the Post Grid for the display. How do we get the transparent header to work for the portfolio? We don’t see an option to turn it on. It has the standard header at the top of all of our portfolio projects and we would like to change some of them to the transparent header.

You’ll need to have a project header color or background image/video supplied for your project in order to trigger the transparent header by default. That is unless you have activated the “Single Project Remove Default Header” in the Salient options > Portfolio > Single project tab—that option will make the transparent header act like a regular page.

We’ve tried everything to activate the transparent header for our portfolio, including your initial suggestion. It’s not working. Any other suggestions? Is there a code we need to change to make it work? We have the ability to turn the transparent header on and off on a page, but the option isn’t available on portfolio pages.

Hi ThemeNectar, we’re creating a search input field (friedrichgrohe.com/publications-with-search-2/) that will filter through div elements. The dropdown next to the search “newsletters’ etc uses the nectar-tab-trigger to switch between a tabbed section below, to avoid a full page reload. However, this trigger is not working – do you know why this is. Will update the theme as a last resort. Thanks

The custom class trigger “nectar-tab-trigger” was not added until more recent releases than your current version. If you don’t wish to update the theme, you could also manually add a function that looks for that class name to handle the tab change. Thank you for your response. I have added a search feature to the page located at /publications. I wanted to confirm if filtering the publications in this way makes sense for this particular use case. Currently, when you search for “winter” in “the link,” the results are stacked, requiring scrolling. Is there a way to modify this layout so that the results always fill the three inner columns in each row?

1. Since each set of three columns is in their own row, filtering would produce instances where some rows are not filled with three items. There’s no easy way to change that unless you move all of the columns within the same row.
2. You can specify an external URL for each project in the “Project Configuration” metabox when editing a project. THere’s also a field for that overlapping image called “Secondary Overlaid Image”

Currently that is disabled since the layout for a quick viewed product it isn’t responsive. If you enabled the button via CSS, you would also need to do some additional CSS changes to alter the layout for a phone view.

I have a 1 page website with Salient https://www.re-play.ch/
I have a link to vacancies (= posts) from the homepage (see bottom of the page) to this link https://www.re-play.ch/carreers/back-end-developer/
Since these posts, when I click on the Main menu that contains links with anchors, it does not work. In Menu, if I simply write #contact in url, nothing happens (necessarily). I have to put the url in absolute. But even with that, it goes well on the homepage but the anchor does not work, nothing happens.
