Nonces serve as unique tokens to safeguard forms and URLs against specific forms of abuse, such as Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). Their primary purpose is to ensure the uniqueness of a given user’s action within a specific context, encompassing the WordPress installation, the user, the action itself, the object associated with the action, and the time it occurs.

The “unverified nonce!” error is mainly caused when you have a cache plugin installed, so could you please clear the cache from the plugin’s settings or disable the plugin to see if this resolves the issue?
