My mobile hamburger has stopped working. I’ve had some customisations made to the theme. None of them are related to the hamburger menu. And some are really important for me to keep. Will you still be able to fix the issue if I renew support?

Hi, is there a way to activate the like function for posts? Whenever I click on the small heart icon, it goes to “1” but when I reload the page the counter is back to zero again. Thanks!

Hello! Sorry to bother you but the Blog page isn’t showing the articles anymore, I’ve checked with the inspector and I’m getting this error in the console “Uncaught Error: Bootstrap’s JavaScript requires jQuery version 1.9.1 or higher, but lower than version 3”. Theme and plugins are up to date. Any suggestion? Thanks a lot!

It seems you’re using a third-party plugin that has caused problems with the JavaScript. Because this issue doesn’t exist in our theme. Please try deactivating all plugins (excluding those plugins that come with the theme) and try again. If it works, enable each plugin one by one to determine which one is causing the issue.

Hello. I am considering buying this theme mainly for the Home Decor Design Magazine template, however I have few questions: 1. Room idea and Decor and Design drop-down menus, which contain blog images and titles, oftentimes dont load properly (almost 2 out of 5 times). On mouse over I see the loading bar moving from left to right but the dropdown effect doesnt happen. I have to move the mouse away and hover again for it to appear. I have tested on Chrome and Edge and I have seen this behavior multiple times. Is this a known bug? 2. Social media article sharing icons appear only at the end of the article, with tinny icons which are hard to see. Is it possible to place them somewhere else, for example begining of article, and with different icon? 3. Is it possible to change the menu and the social media icons next to it? 4. Is it possible to change a different footer? 5. Is it possible to have pictures next to Related Posts Articles within article, like you have on your main demo? Thanks

1/ No, it’s not an error. We have intentionally delayed loading the JavaScript on that demo until users interact with the website to improve the site loading speed. As a result, there might be a slight delay. You can verify this by going to the demo, moving the mouse, clicking, or scrolling down for about a second. The JavaScript will load, and the menu will be able to hover normally
2/ Yes, you can place it at the top if you prefer, or you can place it both at the top and bottom. Our theme already supports various social sharing platforms, and you can enable or disable social sharing as per your requirements.
3 & 4/ Certainly, you can. You can also use the footer from another demo and apply it to this demo if you wish.
5/ Absolutely! As mentioned earlier, you can combine features from different demos to customize the theme according to your specific needs.

1/ Yes. Of course you can. You can activate the theme on your staging site normally. When it’s ok, you can revoke the license on the staging site via Dashboard > Soledad > Theme License > and click on the button “Revoke License”. After that, you can activate the theme on the main site.
2/ Yes. It’s fully compatible with PHP 8.1

I have just found that your theme is not fully supported in PHP v8. I tried with PHP 7.4 everything work well but when I switched to PHP v8, some functions not work correctly. Example your activation link /wp-admin/admin.php?page=soledad_active_theme will lead to not found page 404.

1/ Yes, we have a plan for this feature, but I’m not sure when it will be released. We are currently working on some new features.
2/ The PENCI PAYWALL PLUGIN and PENCI FRONTEND POST SUBMISSION plugins already work with Woocommerce payment gateways and we have included them in these plugins. The “Penci Pay Writer” plugin uses PayPal and other external methods, which allow you to pay for the authors and then select “paid” in the status on the stats page.
3/ You don’t need any extra plugins to get this feature. The PENCI PAYWALL PLUGIN will provide membership plans.
4 & 5/ Yes, of course, it does. Access to categories is not affected because users can’t read anything on the category pages. The main restriction and protection apply to single posts/pages.
6/ It cannot be checked at this moment.

We’ve updated Soledad to the latest version but now our website of 7 years has become unreadable. Hi, I bought your theme and so far everything works fine. I use the “Simply Blog” style. My homepage only consists of the standard list of posts which is what I want. But how do I add an image (or a slider, but a static image would be better) to the head of the homepage with the blog list?
