Hey,
with the new Wordpress Updates and php 8 I have massive problems now to create a new post.
Error found: post-new.php // I can´t scroll down etc.
WordPress-Version 6.5 Theme: Valenti (Version 5.6.3.9) Plugin: Valenti Engine (Version 1.0.7) PHP-Version 8.0.30 (doesnt work, so I have the old one)
Is there are solution? Does anyone have the same problem now?

Hi! I’ve been using the Valenti theme for a while now, it’s been really great! I’ve been updating my site this past week and noticed that the post pages no longer have any page builder software. I’m pretty sure it had this before (because for sure I wouldn’t have manually typed divider and drop caps and such). Can you let me know if it still has a page builder software for posts? Thanks so much!

Happy you’re enjoying Valenti 
The theme has never had a builder for posts, as that is not great practise! I recommend you stick to WordPress’ classic editor or the new Gutenberg editor. Adding third party builders to posts is a ticking timebomb for headaches down the line. Best avoid it.

Not currently, but when WordPress core adds the Table of Contents block to core (it’s coming), it’ll be possible to do in all themes, but the WordPress way (clean, and no bloatware).

Hi, i’ve upgrade theme and wp to the last version, i’ve activated debug.

That code is really old! The latest Valenti doesn’t use that. Are you using a child theme by any chance? If so, it may be that you added old code in there.

Hi, I think there is a bug in the “Header Banner Selection” options. I have to insert a banner image next to the logo, but it doesn’t work (it worked in the old theme). How can I do? Thank you!

Chris WP6.4 is coming with PHP8.1 recommended for functionality. Valenti is only up to 8.0 according to your recent comments. Will you launch an updated version for 8.1 or at least a hotfix?

Chris I am very disappointed in how you have left everyone’s comments hanging here. At least keep us updated on compatibility for the core theme with the latest WP version.

The support system is working fine and is active – Ticksy might have had some temporary server issues. I can’t say for certain, but it is 100% working as usual.

And when will you be updating both the theme and lets review? Its been years since any update, especially for schema options and Cumulative Layout Shifts for core vitals. Can we not do hotfixes and rapid rolls outs than one update every few years?

A while ago I bought valenti and I’m configuring it, I just found a strange bug, it happens that I was placing text in the widget area and the web had a width of 1200px by default but now it appears as if it had been zoomed in, I try to change the width from the theme options but it’s still the same, you could take a look at it since I haven’t moved anything and the plugins I have are the usual basic ones.

The last version doesn’t yet support PHP8. Is that coming soon?

Unfortunately I had to upgrade to Wordpress 6.1 and the old Valenti Theme (2.5.1) was no longer compatible but the latest update (5.6.3.9) created serious problems on a site that has lots of post video formats. The “Video Embed limited by featured image size” setting has been deleted from thousands of posts. Often in new posts the url of the video has been deleted… Thousands of posts! In short: a disaster for a site of a local TV. There is a solution?

Sorry to hear that, but did you follow the upgrade migration steps outlined in the documentation? That will convert all old video embed data to the new system.

Yes but it didn’t work: the theme lost all video links.
Is there any way to convert all post video formats after the update?
Does your hosting give you staging site functionality? If so, create one so you can test it all calmly there, and run the migration steps again. If it all goes smoothly, it should work.
For some reason, the main menu on my site is left justified and I cannot figure out how to make centered. I twas working before a previous update. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

The theme works fine with WP 6.1 If you run into any issues, you can report them and they will be fixed via an update.

Have you tested WP6.2 yet and PHP up to 8.2?
I wouldn’t recommend PHP 8.2 because a large amount of popular plugins still fail, so you’ll likely have issues. WP6.2 is no problem though
How about 8.2 with your theme though? and what about 8.1?
Zeen’s next update is going to be tested with 8.2, so should be officially compatible then
